it looks like a flying eye robot look at the circular shape and that on the bottom two latches are closed (and possibly open). my guess is that it mainly is for running into you or spying on you and it flies around mainly like all of the other air borne drones in poptropica

I think that the bottom part opens up and becomes an eye while the propeller spins. It could be an ally or a security system…

Maybe the line in the middle is actually a kind of metal seam and it opens up to reveal an eyeball…and the conundrum continues to flummox Poptropica fans until the great unveiling of the true purpose of the object is revealed…
