Blog Post Title: Royal

Image Name: royaltiy.png [They spelled “royalty” wrong… O.o]
Please note that the above speech was made up, but I do hope you enjoyed it.
Thank you, GoldenStar, for the advertisement alert. According to GoldenStar, there is a “[Disney’s] Hatching Pete” advertisement on the sides of the screen (as in side bars). Thank you Cheerful Claw for suggesting (in an earlier post) that Astro-Knights may be related with the King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table legends, and to GoldenStar again for pointing out that the royal couple shown above may be King Arthur and Queen Guinevere, the names of the king and queen in the Knights of the Round Table legends. And of course, it’s Earth Day soon [thanks, Graham]!
Meanwhile, please do try to understand that the Poptropica Help Blog team can check the Poptropica Creators’ Blog for themselves every day, and post when they need to. Please do not send in a comment saying, “New post!!!11!1!!” or the like since you know it’s not necessary, and especially when someone else has already said it [which basically means that you are wasting everyone’s time by repeating them]. Thank you for your attention.

OH OH OH OH OH you should make a header for earth day!!!!
Ruthrose88 – Thanks for the suggestion, but it depends on whether Codien has the time to make one. If he can’t do it in time, just don’t be too disappointed. 😉
Yeah!
New Snapshot Sagas. Yeah, making a header for Earth Day would be REALLY cool.
Wait. The Poptropican’s name is Mad Glove. I agree with the Earth Day header idea.
I’m really excited for Astro Knights, and I want that outfit, too! 😀 It COULD be King Arthur! 😀
OHHH! We probably won’t be able to copy the crown(s) separately. (The Lips and dress are still cool)!
That’s not a scroll its a scepter.
Yeah…maybe he was thinking of something else?
Bendyhero01 – The king is holding a scepter, but to fit the story above, let’s just say there’s a scroll folded up in his pocket. 😉
uuuuuhhh scary tomato, in the olden days they said tis insted of it is
It really dose not matter. 🙂
They still say that now! 😀
Why do some words have an “eth” at the end?
Eg: steppeth
Serious Spider – That’s how some verbs were said in the medieval times. 😉
Yeah. It’s weird, but it also adds that kind of…old and majestic vibe.
Ok. That’s why I don’t like reading really old books.
English evolved from early Germanic languages and shares many of their characteristics.
In German, when you address a person you know well, verbs will usually take on the ending ‘st’ or “est”, as in “hast” or “mörchtest”
Old english originally shared this characteristic, with regional accents exchanging “eth” for “est”
Over time, these informal verb endings were dropped entirely from the english language, but old writings still have them, which is why it sounds so medieval.
so yeah, basically what Scary Tomato said. 😉
COOL! I so like Guinavere! I so like Arthur!
Queen Guinevere was the legendary queen consort of King Arthur. She was most famous for her love affair with Arthur’s chief knight Sir Lancelot. Their betrayal of Arthur leads to the downfall of the kingdom.
Arthur was the first born son of King Uther Pendragon and heir to the throne. However these were very troubled times and Merlin, a wise magician, advised that the baby Arthur should be raised in a secret place and that none should know his true identity… (more on http://www.caerleon.net/history/arthur/page2.htm)
Yeah…that’s why I don’t really like Guinevere very much…which is why the Lady of the Lake is my favorite female person.
i think the stuff looks great =D
Merlin? did I hera that somewhere on this blog?
I dunno if this is only in Australia or what, but according to my TV, there will be a show called MERLIN. It’s a new series, starting today, I think.
Something about “The legends of King Arthur.”
the queen looks pretty. i hope we can custumize her whole outfit!
