Howdy Poptropicans! (dramatic entrance) I’m Lucky Joker, the newest PHB author! First off, I’d like to say hello to all of my new co-authors, as well as a big thank you to Slanted Fish for inviting me to write on this blog.

To tell a bit about myself, I’m a teen living in the U.S. Some of my hobbies include reading, drawing, collecting toys, and writing — blogging being my favorite in particular. As some of you may know, I used to run a Poptropica blog of my own alongside White Ice, an awesome community member here. Unfortunately, when we were at our peak, it was hacked and deleted (moment of awkward silence while crickets chirp)…

Enough with the bad news. The good news is that I’m here now and that I’m able to share my love with the best community around. Not to mention that I have the amazing opportunity to do so on the biggest Poptropica blog on the internet. Seriously, I cannot express the state of excitement I’m in, let alone through a computer screen. Here’s my happy dance to prove it!

Sorry, it’s not poptanium. But it is a new author.

Hey folks, I’m Spencer! Upon joining the PHB, I’ve created a new alias, “Cobalt Spinner.” You can call Cobalt, however. 😛 I’ve contributed to the Poptropica Help Network many times over the years, and I’m so happy to finally be able to contribute as an author here on the PHB! As cliché as this is, it really is a dream come true.

I can’t wait to post updates and announcements for you guys, it really is going to be a blast, and something I’ve thought about immensely and for a long, long time. 😀

I work for Orb Legend as a game developer, but more specifically, I code and work with sprites. I dabble with a bit of everything, including the story, but those are really my priorities. Giant Hawk is also planning to have me in his adventurously brilliant new series, the GHA! (Considering they take place in the same timeline. 😉 )

Greetings Hawk-tropicans! This is Giant Hawk speaking, and I’ve got some pretty exciting news. This news being that I have officially become the PHB’s newest author!

Now, I’m sure not everyone on the blog here knows who I am. But then again, I think that’s what this blog post is for, right? Well, my real name is Joshua (I do prefer it over the nickname Josh), but do call me Giant Hawk, or if you wish, use the abbreviation GH.

If you wish to find me for any reason on Poptropica, my username is Joshuawesome8. If you want to find me across the web, check out my Gravatar, which has links to my Twitter page, my DeviantArt profile, and my user page on the Poptropica Wiki (on which I am an admin).

Also, I think I should mention that I am actually the older twin brother of Ultimate iPad Expert.

More on who I am, though. I am an extremely avid writer. In fact, I’m beginning to send out my written works locally in real life. Poptropica-wise, I also have something super big planned, so be on the lookout early November for the announcement.

Acting is also a super big part of my life – especially when it comes to the often overlooked art of voice over. I am a fan of a lot of professional voice actors, but my two favorites are Dee Bradley Baker and Tara Strong. Go look them up if you want – I’m sure you’ll recognize a lot of their characters.

Entertainment-wise, my favorite shows are Gravity Falls and Steven Universe. I also love Pixar’s movies.

Hello PHB readers, before we get to the news, lemme introduce myself.

My name is Paul P, known on the interwebs as Ultimate iPad Expert (UiPE for short). I joined Poptropica in March of 2011 with the username Paultropica6. Anyway, after playing Poptropica for a while, I decided to join the Poptropica Wiki to help other people learn more about it. Soon after my arrival there, I became an admin and have been helping out there ever since.

Recently, you may have seen that the PHB is partnering with the Poptropica Wiki, which is why you’re seeing me here! I hope to stay here a while and help out with all sorts of new and exciting stuff on the PHB. (We may or may not have some stuff planned *wink*)

Now that you know about me, let’s get to some news! A few of you PHB veterans from back as far as 2009 may remember the Poptropica Help Forum. A fun place where users from the blog could discuss all sorts of Poptropica related topics. Sadly, it was shut down.

But, I’m here to announce the new forum! It’s a place for you guys to post fan art, share your thoughts on islands, chat with other users, and more. It’s a simple process of making a Wikia account to join in the conversations (by making a Wikia account, you’ll also be set to contribute to the Poptropica Wiki, where the PHB hopes to create a substantial database of items, characters, and more!).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments below. I’d be happy to see you all join us there! Be sure to tune in here for any more news regarding the wiki, forum, and more exciting stuff. 😉

If you’ve been reading the PHB since August, you may remember Slanted Fish put out a survey to gauge what sort of people you all are. Well, there’s more where that came from…

I’m Cheerful Singer, your newest PHB staff member! I’m joining the blog in a new role that hasn’t existed before: a PHB statistician of sorts. I’ll be posting weekly polls about various Poptropica-related things. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to vote in these. I really love collecting and organizing data, but it won’t mean much if not many people vote. And I’m not just doing it for my own entertainment, of course! Every week I’ll post a short analysis of last week’s results, so everyone can have a better understanding of the PHB community. I also hope people will use the comment section to discuss the weekly topic!

You see, I started off as just a humble PHB reader. I didn’t even have a WordPress account until, like, yesterday.

But look at me now! I get to learn all your deepest, darkest secrets stuff about you as a community through my own polls! I guess this just goes to show… chase your dreams, ladies and gentlemen, and you’ll go far.

But enough of that. You can expect to see your first regular PHB poll sometime this weekend! GET EXCITED BECAUSE I’M SUPER EXCITED AND IT WOULD BE KINDA AWKWARD IF NO ONE ELSE WAS.
