*Not to be confused with Mythology Island (Haxe).

Welcome to Mythology Island, land of the Greek gods and goddesses! Enter the Museum of Olympus and head right. A little cutscene will play, introducing the feud between the main gods: Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades.

Once that’s done playing, keep going right until you find the area with the statues. Find Poseidon’s statue and take the pink Starfish off of it.

myth1

Then leave the museum and walk left to the sign labeled “Tree of Immortality”.

Tree of Immortality

Climb up the stone steps and you’ll reach an area where you can go up to a large tree. Keep going until you find a satyr (half-human, half-goat). He’ll be waiting for you in the top right corner of the huge tree.

The satyr will tell you that nymphs have stolen his honey and have hidden his honey around the tree. You have 100 seconds to race around the tree and retrieve 10 pots of honey for him. Then he’ll reveal to you a new secret path. Climb up on it, get to the tip of the branch, and grab the Golden Apple — the fruit of the gods.

The Greek god Zeus will descend from a sky of darkness and speak to you, offering you immortality in exchange for five sacred items. When he leaves, take the Sacred Items Scroll. Examine it to find out what you need to collect for Zeus.

Leave the tree and go right. The goddess Athena (who was previously disguised as an old lady) will be waiting for you. Talk to her, and she will tell you to look to the olive trees for help – whenever you see a glowing olive in the trees, you can click on it to receive a hint from her. Or, you know, you can use this walkthrough for more direct steps.

myth4

Anyway, on with the quest for the five sacred items!

Apollo’s Temple

Go right, past Athena, then past Main Street, until you get to the Grove of Temples. Enter the first temple – Apollo’s temple. Head all the way to the right and take a Reed Pipe.

pipes

Then jump up and talk to the statue holding a reed pipe – that’s Euterpe, the Muse of music.

myth5

She will teach you a song, but you must prove to her that you are a worthy musician. As part of this process, she’ll play notes on the reed pipe and you must click on the exact same sequence of notes to imitate her. (It’s different for every player.) Every time you get it right, she will add one more note to the end of the sequence, and on it goes until the last sequence of about ten notes.

If you are successful, you’ll learn the Pipe Tune, which will come in handy later.

Poseidon’s Temple

Exit Apollo’s temple and keep going right, past Hades’ temple in the ground, to the Temple of Poseidon. Enter Poseidon’s temple, and use the Starfish from the museum beside the altar as an offering to open the door.

Go inside and head left down the beach. There you will find Aphrodite, who will have you guess the names of various Greek gods and goddesses.

myth6

For your reference, here’s the order that Aphrodite asks you to guess them in:

  1. Ares
  2. Hermes
  3. Aphrodite
  4. Artemis
  5. Hestia
  6. Apollo

When you’ve got them all right, she’ll give you a Teleportation Mirror.

Hydra’s Scale

Now, dive into the water to the left of Aphrodite and go through the underwater maze. Collect bubbles on your way to regain oxygen (if you run out of oxygen, you’ll have to start the maze over). At the bottom of the sea is the entrance to a cave with a sign warning of a “gnarly monster”. It’s the Hydra’s cave!

Enter the cave and run left to where the five-headed Hydra is chained. To defeat the Hydra, just wait for it to strike, then jump on a head to knock it out. Do this for all five heads to knock it out completely. Then, click on the defeated Hydra. You will obtain an item for Zeus’s list: the Hydra’s Scale.

Giant Pearl

Leave the Hydra’s cave. Back underwater in Poseidon’s realm, there should be a giant clam near the cave that opens and closes. There’s a giant pearl inside it, and it’s one of the items you need to get for Zeus. Wait for it to open and swim in to take the Giant Pearl. You will now have another sacred item.

Garden of the Sphinx: Rare Flower

Head to the Garden of the Sphinx (left of the Tree of Immortality). Tip: Use the Teleportation Mirror to teleport to the gate at Main Street (lightning bolt icon), and from there, it’ll be faster to head left where you need to go.

Once at the garden, talk to the colorful Sphinx there. In her own mysterious riddle, she’ll let you know that you may take the flower if you can water it. To do so, hop up to the top left corner where the aqueducts begin. Activate the aqueducts by pulling the levers in the right direction and lowering the bridges until the water is flowing in a path all the way down to the rose flower.

Once that’s done, take the Rare Flower and you will have another one of the sacred items Zeus needs.

Don’t forget to jump left above the Sphinx and grab the Pomegranates, which will come in handy later.

Ring from the Minotaur

To the left side of the Garden of the Sphinx is the entrance to the Minotaur’s maze. Play music using your Reed Pipe to open the door. Match your notes corresponding to the colors numbered in order on the door: blue, blue, green, yellow, yellow, red, blue, green.

Enter and ask the Minotaur for his nose ring. He’ll tell you that he only grants favors to those who can make it through the Labyrinth, so you’ll need to make it out of the maze without getting lost!

Upon entering, Athena will give you some magical thread to keep track of your movement. Here’s a map to show how you should navigate through the Minotaur’s maze:

myth12

Eventually as you go through the maze, you will run into a ghostly figure who calls himself Pan. Pan gives you some advice about the pillar puzzle above him. Click on the pillar, which has 15 bones. The riddle tells you to take 6 bones away and still leave 10. To solve this, remove six of the bones so that the remaining bones spell out the word “TEN”, like so:

Keep progressing through the maze and go through the exit. In the next room, go right and click on the board on the wall with holes in it. Sneaky snakes will spring up from the holes. To complete this challenge, you’ll need to click on the fast-moving red-eyed snake three times. Once that’s done, you can exit the maze. Talk to the Minotaur to obtain another sacred item: Ring from the Minotaur. But he’ll give you a warning…

Zeus can’t be trusted? Hmm…

Whisker from Cerberus

You may have noticed the sign saying “These pomegranates are to die for!” Well, in a way, it’s not just about how awesome their pomegranate punch is – this is also a clue.

myth14

Head over to the Grove of Temples again. This time, drop down to the temple of Hades, the god of the underworld. Talk to the kid there, and he’ll offer you a Drachma coin if you’ll help him clean off the graffiti. To clean off the graffiti, click on the vandalized spots on Hades’ temple and scrub it clean by swiping with your mouse. There are three spots to clean. Once you’re done, talk to the kid again, and he’ll give you a Drachma.

Now, enter the temple of Hades. Head right and use the pomegranates from the Garden of the Sphinx on the altar as an offering. The door to the pit of Hades will open.

hades door pomegranates

Enter and jump all the way down the deep, dark abyss. You will reappear at the River Styx at the bottom of the pit. Tell the ferryman, Charon, that you’re ready to make the journey across.

ferry ride

And so begins the dangerous journey through the ominous green lake…

  • Avoid the falling stalactites by moving away from the general direction they’re headed!
  • Duck away from the flaming skulls by crouching down low so they’ll miss your head! Or wait for the skulls to dive towards you, then jump quickly.
  • Jump up high when you see a river monster heading towards you to get away from their attack!
  • The order is simply that: falling stalactite, flaming skull, river monster – this pattern happens five times, and if you survive, you’ll make it to the other side!
  • Don’t use any items from the Poptropica Store, because it slows down movement. (If you’re willing to take that risk, then try using the Minimizer item which makes it easier to avoid obstacles!)

Your main objective here is to stay on the boat and not fall into the river, long enough for Charon to take you to the other side. If your soul gets claimed by the River Styx, just keep trying!

Once you reach land, walk over to Cerberus, the three-headed dog. Use your Reed Pipe to play the Pipe Tune you picked up earlier. For your reference, the order is blue, green, yellow, blue, red, and green. When you play these notes in the right order, Cerberus will fall asleep. Click on the restful doggo to obtain a Whisker from Cerberus — the last item you need for Zeus.

Go back to the area with the Tree of Immortality (tip: use your Touchscreen Mirror to teleport to Main Street via the lightning bolt icon) and talk to Athena. She will tell you to examine the message attached to the five sacred items. Assemble the five clues to form this sentence: “Whoever wields the five sacred items will rule all of Poptropica!”

Zeus will appear and steal the sacred items from you. Talk to Athena again, and she’ll urge you to talk to Hercules at Herc’s Hero Hut on Main Street. Inside the hut, to the right, is Hercules, still chilling without a care in the world.

myth17

Explain what’s going on, and he will finally agree to help. There’s not much time to lose!

Hercules’ Help

Use the Touchscreen Mirror to take Hercules to Poseidon’s realm. Back in the underwater maze, Hercules will use his mighty foot to strike down a rock, opening up an entrance to Poseidon’s palace. Enter the throne room and ask the water god Poseidon for his help. You’ll receive Poseidon’s Trident.

(Note: For these next few tasks, if Hercules doesn’t follow you, you’ll find him back in Herc’s Hero Hut. Make sure to teleport with him.)

Go back to the underwater maze out and speak to Hercules again. Using the mirror, teleport yourselves to Hades’ realm. Click on the huge stone blocking the doorway to Hades’ throne room, and Hercules will push it away for you with ease. Inside Hades’ throne room, ask the god of the underworld for his help. You’ll get Hades’ Crown.

Go outside again and use the Teleportation Mirror to select the area with the lightning bolt on it. Hercules will use his muscular might to smash the padlock away from the gate to Mount Olympus.

Enter. Your character will see a little snake on the grass and freak out over it. Thinking it’s no big deal, Hercules will attempt to get rid of it. It turns out to be the furious snake-headed Medusa, who is so angry she turns Hercules into a stone statue. Yikes.

Walk right to the mountainous area and talk to the giant selling bags of wind at Aeolus’ Wind Wagon. Use your Drachma to buy a Bag of Wind from him.

wind wagon drachma

Aeolus will give you a wind boost to get you flying higher up, and you’ll be able to reach Zeus’s throne by climbing up a little further.

Zeus: the Final Battle

Inside the dark throne room, walk around and light up all four statues of Zeus by walking up to them. When that happens, Zeus will challenge you to battle.

At this time, your character will use the powers of Hades’ crown and Poseidon’s trident combined. Here are some tips for this final boss fight:

  • When it’s safe, get near Zeus and rapidly click in his direction to fire bolts of lightning at him. A health bar below his feet will show you how much damage still needs to be done to defeat him.
  • Listen to the sounds to know what attack Zeus is using. If it has an electrical traveling sound, that means he’s got that invisibility blockade on him right now. When Zeus is throwing his electric round mini-clouds, try to fly around him, or around the screen.
  • When Zeus throws his 8 lightning bolts, retreat and you can pass through the lightning.
  • When he is about to charge at you, get away from him as fast as possible, then return to rapidly shoot at him.
  • If you have only a few pink clouds left, retreat and recollect some pink clouds. If you lose all your pink clouds, you lose the battle. The pink clouds keep you in the air so you don’t fall off from flying around.
  • When Zeus has the white electrify power on him (when he’s throwing the electric miniclouds and/or about to charge) don’t shoot him; your shots will rebound on you.
  • Try not to touch Zeus in the battle; he hurts you in some way if you get too close to him.

Once you’ve successfully defeated Zeus, Athena will award you the Mythology Island Medallion and credits to spend at the Poptropica Store! Congratulations!

  • Common room: Midas’ Gym
  • The villain, Zeus, reappears in the final battle of Super Villain Island, and the fight is similar to that of Mythology Island.
  • Mythology Island is inspired by Greek mythology, with gods such as Athena, Zeus, Poseidon, and creatures such as satyrs and Minotaur.
  • The silver drachma coin you receive says “AOE” (with a dash inside the O), which spells the letters alpha theta epsilon in Greek. It means “of the Athenians” or “children of Athena”.
  • Hercules is called by his Roman name rather than his Greek name, Heracles.
  • The Bag of Wind from Aeolus’ Wind Wagon is a reference to Homer’s The Odyssey. In it, Aeolus gives Odysseus a bag of wind, but his crew opens it too early and their ship is blown far away just as they were about to reach Ithaca.

      1. Poppy, are talking about the notes you have to play for Cerebus? They were hard for me to read too. The way you play them is blue green yellow blue green red. If that isn’t the problem, contact me.

      2. I am struggling with the Cerebus one 😦 I played the reed pipe, I tried all the notes that have been said and it is still not working. I restarted the page and then re-did it but it still didnt work. It’s starting to irritate me 😡 Please help. Is it a glitch of something?

      1. Just stay by the VERY front of the boat and duck. Hope this helps! Magic Moon Out! Peace! 😀

      2. There is a glitch for me where the boat man is under the boat.. and I can’t do the boat thingy

      3. Awesome. This guide is so helpful. If ur havering trouble on the boat part, I just go in this order.
        Duck
        Duck
        Goose!
        Just kidding
        Duck
        Duck
        Jump.

      4. Just go to where the ferryman is, jump to dodge the skull while in front of the ferryman, then jump again to avoid getting attacked my the monster.

      5. Stay at the front it will never get you there and also if you want to get past the sceleton or the monster just jump

      1. A tip:
When when you are trying to catch the snake, hover above a hole within reach of any snake that pops up from it. Be patient; when the red-eyed snake slithers out, click it right away, then choose another hole and do the same thing.

      2. Well said Quiet Wolf!
We are like so similar :L quiet & friendly, bear & wolf! lol!
        ^,^
Lone Bones wrote a mythology guide for the PHB BEFORE THIS CAME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so thank HER/HIM cos we’d still be scrathing our heads over this otherwise.

Friendly Bear (who’s current proffesion is being very awesome!)

      3. When you see the red-eyed snake right click on your mouse and the game will freeze but you will still be able to move the cursor. Just keep doing that until you finish.

      4. click F8 every time you see the red eyed snake and she will pause untill you click on her!

        ❤ 4ever and good luck!

        ~Friendly Flyer (ekambiss1)

      5. Did you know that there’s a weird-lookin’ guy on top of the Midas Gym? When you click on him, he tells you that he saw the whole battle from there. I’m guessing he means the battle of you and Zeus, after you finish the island. :O

      1. you have to try and get as many clouds as you can, the lower his health is the more clouds spawn in. hope it helps and good luck defeating the lord of the heavens 😀

      2. Tip: While Zues charges tose fireballs,go and collect as many clouds as you can.

      3. It is easy just you h have to keep collecting clouds when you get hit them after you get hot you have 10-30 seconds to hit him at then end c he will light up with electricity and try to bump you when he does thatthat dash out the way and that is how itit happens oh and for the fireballs just go around in circles everywhere B-)

      4. You can click anywhere on the screen,(You should hit Zeus if you want to win)and after you defeat Zeus with many tries, you will earn your medallion.Comment if you want more information.HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

      5. Try to get a lot of clouds at the beginning, then just keep shooting him until he is at half health. Then, whenever these energy balls float around him, don’t shoot and try to dodge him. Then, shoot after and repeat. When I first played I didn’t even notice I had to get clouds and I just kept shooting at him and won it!

    1. When i jump into the water to the left of Aphrodite theirs nothing did i do something wrong?

Slanted Fish: You need to click on the area that lets you dive into the next room.

      1. yeah stay where Charon is for the whoooole minigame, duck for the skulls and jump a few seconds before the crocodile comes…

      2. I used to have that problem too, but for the stalagmite just go the front of the boat, for the sceleton jump, quickly, and for the river monster, jump, too.

    2. When I’m in the underworld, and at the start (when the guide takes you over to the underworld) the guide keeps on bouncing on the boat and I can’t talk to him! Help!

      1. Report this to an official, and they can probably help you. If you can’t fix it, you can try right clicking then clicking on him, or you might have to stop trying the island or may have to get another account. I am not the one you should really be listening to, but those are just some options.

      1. Friend me as skycloak22358 and if you want my best friends adamhit200610 and my other friend disneyworld6

    3. When your trying to water the rose, what does this guy mean by “hop up to the top left corner where the aqueduct begins”?

slantedfish: It means to go to the top corner of the scene, where you can control the water’s flow.

    4. the only problem is a don’t have a drachma. 😦 help

slantedfish: Get a drachma by cleaning Hades’ temple – it’s in the guide!

      1. You mean the sacred objects? If you do, no, you can get them in whatever order you want.

  1. Cool. But I used a less confusing way by going to the Sphinx’s garden after getting the apple and getting the Pomegranate and the starfish before going anywhere.

    1. it’s not confusing going by the guide if you just follow along and don’t try to think through the tasks

      1. Uh, yeah, it kind of is. By “confusing”, I mean not having to run back and forth and re-visit places.

      1. I also think you can add a picture of what bones to pick in the labryinth.

    2. this really helped me but i cant find athena to become a god and herculies WONT HELP ME WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA cna you please reply and help me thanks brada

Slanted Fish: Athena is at the Tree Base (check your Map). You may need to walk a bit to locate her.

      1. I know where the Tree Base is, but where’s Athena?

Slanted Fish: Athena wears a helmet and is holding a spear – keep walking until you see her!

  2. Cool guide! You could have included tips for the Battle with Zeus.some tips:When Zeus is throwing his electric miniclouds, try to fly around him,if U can’t you fly around the screen. When Zeus throws his 8 lightning bolts, retreat and you can pass through the lightning. When he is about to charge at you,get away from him as fast as possible then return to shoot him.If you have only a few pink clouds left, retreat and recollect some pink clouds. If you lose all your pink clouds you lose the battle. When Zeus has the white electric thing on him(when he;s throwing the electric miniclouds and/or about to charge)don’t shoot him, your shots will rebound on you.Try not to touch Zeus in the battle,He hurts you in some way if you are too close to him. 🙂

      1. Nice guide but for the river styx part jumping before the monster comes you should just jump right when it comes so you won’t get hit… but nice guide though

  3. Nice guide! (even though i didn’t need it…) Just a tip, i think the labyrinth part was just a little confusing, you may want to be more specific. Other than that, great job. I’m just so sad because i already beat it……….

    1. When you know what to do an island is always easy with the exception of Asrto-Knights.Trust me,the first time,Myth island IS NOT EASY!

      1. It can be hard even if you DO know what to do. Like once, I was on Counterfeit Island, and I knew how to get past the guards, but I couldn’t! The guards never turned away like the walkthrough said they would! It was frustrating.

      1. I guess so. I don’t know what I’d do if it weren’t for the PHB! So I’m gonna take this oppurtunity to say, THANK YOU PHB! YOU ROCK!

      2. Astroknights is really hard! It took me 30 minutes to even find out what I am doing! *Two Hours Later* “Not finished yet!!!!!!!”

      1. I guess so? I GUESS SO?!?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!?! THE PHB IS THE BEST BLOG EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Peace out!

    1. I have a tip: Right when the one of the head come up jump the farthest above the the bone to the right

    2. You know, what I did to defeat the Hydra is to just stand in one place and wait for a hydra head to strike. You know when that “look” comes on a head, Just wait like half a second and then just jump!
      Hoped this Helped!

  4. I completed M.I. before the walkthrough, and it was HARD! But it was still fun when I had Hades’ crown. 😆

    1. I don’t have a membership either. I am a fan of mythology, so in other words, this will b my FAVORITE island!!
P.S. I was reading the guide and I thought “Zeus, how could you?!” Why did the leader of the gods turn evil?!!

Hijuyo: Some people (even in real life) misuse their power and become abusive/evil.

      1. I never really had a “problem” with the membership (cause you could just play NORMALLY without it, so it’s ok) except the LONG waits 😕

      2. SAME!!! You know you can just get the app right?? It lets you play Mythology Island with or without membership

slantedfish: Currently, Mythology doesn’t require membership online either. 😉

  5. It’s hard to do– almost as hard as Astro Knights (keep in mind, this is my opinion, not everyone else’s, so if you have a different opinion, that’s fine, just please don’t be rude about it). I’m stuck on defeating the Hydra. It’s sort of hard, because the heads keep growing back!

    1. Hydra tips:
You have to stand kinda close to her before she attacks.
Also, when one of her heads rears up and the eyes bulge, that’s when you jump.

      1. I think Skull Duggery is hardest. It takes too long. That’s why I’ve decided not to complete it. I’ll try a little every once in a while, but it’s still hard. Anyone notice that on the PCB poll, the newest islands are the most popular?

  6. Help for The Hard Parts

I’ll have a full written walkthrough very soon, but in the meantime, here are some answers to some of the frequently asked questions about Mythology Island. Having trouble? Post a question in the comments and I’ll try to answer it!
    Getting Hercules to Help You

Hercules won’t help you until you have all five items from Zeus’ quest. Once you have the five items, bring them to Athena. Zeus will appear and steal them. The big jerk! Once this happens, talk to Athena and she will tell you that Hercules will help you. You’ll need to have the magic mirror from Aphrodite because Hercules doesn’t want to have to walk. He’s so lazy!
    Getting the Hydra Scale

You can see how to do this in the videos, but basically you need to jump up when the Hydra is about to strike. He will rear one of his heads back to attack and his eyes will bulge out. When this happens, jump up in the air and then try to land on top of his head. That head will get knocked out. When all five heads get knocked out, the Hydra will be asleep and you can click on him to get one of the scales.

    Getting the Whisker from Cerberus

You’ll need the reed pipe you used to get into the Minotaur’s lair. You’ll also need to learn a song from one of the statues inside Apollo’s temple, where you found the reed pipe. Click on the statue that is holding a reed pipe and she will teach you a special song. When you pass her test, you’ll get a card in your backpack that shows the notes to play. Go to the Underworld and walk up to Cerberus. Play the notes you see on the card using your reed pipe and the big three-headed dog will fall asleep. Then just click on one of his whiskers to get it.

Thank you for looking, Hope you enjoy

    1. I’ve got another tip for getting Cerberus’ whisker.
      It’s pretty easy, just
      -memorise or
      -write down
the tune and then play it.

But if you are encountering difficulties it is probably because you’ve
      – memorised or written it down wrong.
      – CHECK carefully and Cerberus’ should simply drop off to sleep.
      Hope I’ve helped!

      1. You can just jump over the flaming skulls if you get just the right timing… GREAT GUIDE, THANKS!!

  7. Wow, mythology sounds like a hard island! I hate it when the villians turn evil in the end!! I don’t have membership but i’ll be excited when it comes out!

  8. Mythology will be available in a while! I currently have 150 creds and I want to save up to buy a Costume Collecter, but more to the pint, I can’t WAIT! This island sounds so fun!

  9. hey wouldnt it be cool if we could customize off of the statues in the museum in mythology island after we beat it (after all you can still customize hercules after he is turned into a statue)

  10. looks cool! my friend went all crazy when i told him about MI, hes a HUGE fan of ancient greece stuff…

    1. Hey, I’m a fan of greek mythology too! I know about 92.7% of it (the stuff I don’t know is the names of the titans). I can name all three gods in my head! I also read the Percy Jackson books. It Is a great series u should read! Since I’m a fan of this stuff, Mythology Island is going to be my FAV island. Here’s a tip on finishing islands: While you watch/read an island guide, write it down on a piece of paper so u don’t have 2 switch to different sites. Here’s one example for Reality TV island: “market-magazine-take out subscribsion/motel-phone……” I hope it helps!

      1. I’m also a big fan of Greek mythology (it seems I’m not the only one!)– I read and enjoyed the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series as well. MI is my favorite Poptropica quest so far.

      2. This is my favourite island.
I love the Percy Jackson books, but I love the new series, Heroes of Olympus even more! (I have the first book, but the second (according to wikipedia) called “the son of Neptune” doesn’t come out till October 2011 :0 ) NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
        I CAN’T WAIT THAT LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, all we need is for the creators to make an island where you get to use a sword like Percy’s Riptide, or Jason’s coin(tails-sword, heads-lance)

    2. I like ancient greece stuff too, but tha’s not the only reason MI is my fave – I LOVE the ancient greece outfits u can costumise. (Aphrodite’s outfit’s my fave.)

      1. I am in love with the Percy Jackson books! This island was also my fave. I’m glad they finally decided to make MI.

      2. GUYS IM SAD TO SAY THIS BUT PERCY ISN’T A SON OF POSEIDON HE’S A SON OF NEPTUNE HE FELL IN A RIVER OF THE ROMAN AND TURNED ROMAN!!!!!noooooo!! HE LOST HIS MEMORY AND HE ONLY REMEBERS THIS NAME annabeth HE DOSNT KNOW GROVER, TYSON, ONLY NICO SON OF PLUTO(USE TO BE SON OF HADES) READ THE BOOK THE SON OF NEPTUNE YOULL BE DIAPPOINTED!!!!

  11. Hey This Island Comes out on My Birthday !!! (JUST WANTD TO SAii THAT)
This Island Looks cool I cant wait to beat it!! I already Beat all The other Islands !!!
CANT WAIT FOR THIS ISLAND !!!!!!

      1. SAME SAME SAME! Wow! MI ROX ROX ROX! (Sorry, I have a thing about sayin stuff 3 times.)

      1. You’re right, this is the best island yet, cuz of the greek mythology.

  12. I actually had a dream that the creators of poptropica were going to make an island with a mythology theme 2 MONTHS before it was mentioned!!
P.S. I’m a fan of greek myth stuff

  13. I’ve got a tip, if you are trying to get the mirror, but don’t know who they are,try this. Open another window or tab, play a different person and in the museum, when the statue appears on the first account, have a look around to find it on the second one

  14. OMGGGG!!!!!!! River Styx is so hard!!!!!! Ducking doesn’t work cuz every time i duck, the skull keeps hitting me, so just jump over it.

    1. heres a hint turn off all the special item cards from the poptropica store. for some reason it makes your poptropican slower and more likely to get hit

    2. It helps if you go to the front or back of the bock and duck when the thing comes down and the flying skull comes just jump super high when the river monster comes

  15. guide really helps. hydra super easy. cerebrus hard. zeus super hard minotaur easy. flower a little hard

  16. I noticed that the walkthrough did not state the gods that Aphrodite made you guess.
    The gods in order:
    Ares
    Hermes
    Aphrodite
    Artemis
    Hestia

  17. For anyone who’s having trouble with the River Styx, here’s an easy way to beat it:

Right when you start, go to where Charon is standing and duck down (click and hold downwards). Remain ducked down, as the stalactite will miss you and so will the skull. When the monster hits your boat, let it hit you once, then stop ducking (if you don’t stop it will hit you twice and knock you off the boat. That first hit will knock you backwards a bit, so once the monster’s gone, move back to where Charon is standing and duck down again. Repeat this until you reach the shore.

This method sounds hard, but its really easy. Trust me!

  18. Great guide! POSEIDON WAS SO AWESOME. 😀 I customized alot of his stuff and keep playing with his trident. 😀

  19. You should put the order of Aphrodite’s test. Names in order:
    Ares
    Hermes
    Aphrodite
    Artemis
    Hestia

  20. I love mythology island! It’s awesome! btw guys if you put on hades crown and poisedions septar and press space, you can come bigger, AND you get a free electrify! Also, for the river synx what i did was to remain on my right, because even if you get hit, you won’t fall into the river! unless it hits you on and you fall forward….

  21. Can somebody pleaseeeeee help me with the minotours labyrinth. I get stuck

  22. What do you use the drachma for? 😕

Hijuyo: It’s used to buy a bag of wind on Mount Olympus.

  23. What are the notes for the pipe tune? I have it in my inventory, but I dont know the order! PLEASE HELP!!

    1. What I did is I just wrote it down. That way you can just look at it when you play the reed pipe. Hope this helps! 🙂

      1. Here’s my song!
        BGYG BGYG BGYG BGYR
        BGY BGY BGY RYG
        BGY BGY BGY RYG
        YGYG BBYG RGYB G——(hold)
…That was fun. I’m not sure what you meant by “useful,” but that was a fun idea, even if there are only four notes!

  24. LOL if u r on the rope 2 ur blimp and u use the lightning staff, you just stand on air

  25. dose anyone know how to get the big rock of the hill to get into hades throne???
“I cant get the rock to move…” ]=

Hijuyo: Read the guide. You’ll need Hercules to help push the stone away for you.

      1. Well, the lightning rod can make things darn and shake and it won’t stop until you press spacebar again. But it will still stay dark, but it won’t shake! Just press spacebar while you’re doing the costumizer thing.

  26. But what happens to Hercules?

Hijuyo: Medusa turns him into a stone statue on Mount Olympus.

  27. But does he ever get turned back to normal?

Hijuyo: No… once Medusa turns Hercules into stone, that’s how he will be.

  28. what you do: get a reed pipe then go to apollo’s temple and talk to the statues holding reed pipes. She’ll teach you a song, but you must prove that you are a good musican(or just good at playing the pipe lol) okay? In slash talk, READ THE GUIDE.

    Hope I helped!

  29. i hate the fact that you are all ok with poptropica being non-christian. there is only ONE god. not no lots of em’. and there is no such thing as a goddess. it was all just beliefs. but the real god isn’t Zeus.he doesn’t exist. and even in the game he shouldn’t exist.but for some reason, he does. 😦 everyone is being misled by all of this type of stuff. i guess Jesus and the Holy Father, God, are just now known as… just another religion. 😦

    1. That’s being racist, in a way. Some people believe in other things than you do and you should let them. I know that is right too but you shouldn’t try to make other people seem like what they believe in is completely wrong. let people be. 😉 And By the way, ANY religion can play Poptropica.

      1. yes but some people do not like that. What if some other religion came and told YOU that you were believing in a lie? you won’t believe them, Let people do what they want. Be careful of what YOU do. It’s good to tell people the truth, but you could just make them angry. I bet if someone came and told you mythology was true you still wouldn’t believe in those gods. That’s the same with Christianity.

    2. The gods are part of Greek legends. Greek people believe in Zeus and the other gods and goddesses, while Christians believe in God. All people believe in something different. So don’t offend in what they believe.

      1. JOHN 3:16; For God so loved Poptropica that he gave is one and only son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life” Think of it that way, except we all know Poptropica isn’t a real planet:)

    3. How racist, jughead! 😡 I think your comments have made it past moderation just to make you feel ashamed!Like someone says,”All people believe in something different. So don’t offend in what they believe.” 😡 I belong to a religion with multiple gods and goddesses and I am a fan of Percy Jackson,so you DOUBLE-offended me!YES,Christianity,Jesus etc. ARE another religion, but WE are too!I dislike people who tell others to believe in other religions!I believe in many religions,to be honest–Greek,Roman,my religion,Buddhism,Egyptian,Norse,Jainism, and so on.If you people offend people who believe in other Gods,THEN LET THERE BE NO GODS AT ALL!Yes,I said that! That will stop this (CENSORED)argument then! (Ctrl+Shift+3)

  30. I love your help blog, it’s very useful. But I’m a little stuck on something: what do you offer Hades? I tried the starfish from the museum everywhere in the temple and it didn’t work.

    1. You use the pomogranites collected from the Sphinx (shes huge but very pretty 🙂 ) you jump on her…behind?and up a tree is free pomogranites.
      Hope I helped!

      ❤ 😉 neat Turtle 😉 ❤

    2. It’s not that alter. It’s the one that’s above the cave on the right. The one with more graffiti and a man stading next to it.

  31. Thanks but… I’m not on that part. I’m stuck on the part right after you clean the graffiti off Hades’s temple and you offer him something. The reason why I posted was because it said in the guide to offer starfish, so I did. Then it didn’t work. Someone on the poptropica-help chat said you needed to offer him pomegrante… and so I’m stuck.

  32. omg thx man i had no idea that getting close to zeus hurt me 😛 i thought i was going nuts! thx again °¿°

  33. In Poptropica I never had a battle which cool and awesome. The battle with Zeus was great. Thanks Poptropica.

  34. How come we don’t get immortality? I think that’s stupid… after all that hard work… UGH.

  35. Well this guide isn’t really specific, but it’s pretty good. The part where you have to get the mirror from Aphrodite the gods/goddesses are: Ares, Hermes, Aphrodite, Artemis, and Hestia. I looked up the greek gods. That was an eye-strainer. >_>

  36. Once you’re done, a few things can’t be done anymore, like the Hydra. You can visit the relams of the gods again. Zeus is not seen again, and poor Hercules remains a statue forever, so if you want his costume, make sure you costumize him BEFORE he encounters the Medusa. The statues are very nice to look at in the Museum of Olympus, but you can’t costumize the gods UNLESS you’re in possession of a Ramona and Beezus Magic Paintbrush, so when you hold it up in front of a statue, the god will jump out of it, then you can costumize him or her. Hey, speaking of which, I still want Advertisement Island. But try this. Put on Hades’ crown or Poseidon’s trident and press the spacebar to become big like the gods. If you get tired of that, press the spacebar again to become the size you were before. You can also costumize the gods to have their costumes. Have fun!

  37. Is there any way that you can customize Medusa?

Hijuyo: No, but there is a Medusa snake-head gold card item in the Poptropica Store you can get.

  38. How to i get the money to buy the wind bag on Mythology isle on Poptropica

Hijuyo: Clean Hades’ temple to earn a drachma which can be used to get a bag of wind. Read the guide for more details.

  39. I don’t quite understand how you duck before the flaming skulls on the boat with Charon on the River Styx.
I keep trying, but I only roll and it gets me anyway.
    Any tips?

Hijuyo: Without clicking on the mouse button, point the movement arrow downwards right underneath your character, then click and hold to duck in time to avoid the flying skulls.

  40. I cant;t find the red-eyed snakes.Can somebody help.

Hijuyo: After you reach the end of the maze, on the wall of the next room is a board with holes. Click on it for a closer view. Snakes will come out of the holes, and you are supposed to click the red-eyed ones three times.

  41. LOL i hate the river styx part!! it is so annoying sometimes but when u get used to it it becomes easy and then u get aphrodites mirror and (happily) dont have to do it again!!!

  42. So the God of the Sea’s trident shoots lightning bolts and the God of Death’s crown summons pink fluffy clouds? o_O
I was expecting the trident to shoot swirling bubbles of divine magic and the crown to turn you into a shadow or something… but hey, that’s just me.

    1. Hmm… unless, of course, it is not the implement but the god himself that the special powers come from, and their special items are just a means of channeling and focusing their energy in a way that is most convenient for them, i.e. the Trident was designed with Poseidon’s sea powers in mind, so it works best for him but others can use it, too.
Which means that the powers you got from the godly items were really inside your heart all along. It was your courage to stand up to the king of the gods for the sake of Poptropica that gave you your strength! The Crown and Trident merely focused it.
      ………did I over-think this?

  43. it’s so fun! i feel pity on Hercules, he is still a statue and will be a statue forever…. 😦 that’s not a very happy ending at all… but that’s better for him cause he is so nasty….

What's popping, Poptropicans?
