ASG gift

Our Avatar Studio Gift is a present to the Poptropica community, containing a compendium of usernames that will allow access to rare (typically uncustomizable) costumes on Poptropica by way of the Avatar Studio Glitch, commonly known as ASG.

How to ASG

👕👉 The ASG can currently be performed using the ASG Machine created by idk. Enter the following into the tool:

  1. the username of the costume you want to clone (a list of usernames is found below — hover with your cursor to see their name),
  2. the username of the account you want to copy the costume onto, and
  3. the password of the account in step 2.

Don’t worry, your login information won’t be stored—it’s simply used to perform the ASG.

Important notes

  • This could also change your character’s gender if your gender is not the same as the ASG account.
  • In the case of the costume appearing on a new unsaved account instead of your own account, try doing this on a different web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox).
  • An ASG-able account (for those interested in making their own) must be wearing one of the following: jetpack from Early Poptropica, glider from Time Tangled, bowtie from Spy, or chameleon suit from Spy.

*Rare accounts for ASG are listed below with pictures. Check out the pictures to find something you like, then perform the ASG with the username corresponding to the account pictured to obtain the costume.

  • highSpeed_ASG allows you to run 30% faster on non-SUIs, and adds a cool little blurring motion, but does not work on SUIs (sound-updated islands).
  • WKF_ASG_AN-Princess includes fire hands as seen on the character from Monkey Wrench Island (not pictured in Avatar Studio).
  • PopASG16 can only be ASG’d on a SUI and the costume is not visible on Avatar Studio.
  • idk_customField_ASG – Just use the item card (it’s included with the ASG) and jump. You’ll have a forcefield of green, blue, and black!
  • special_booga_ASG is a special power that summons a bunch of Booga sharks. Like all ASGs, this still changes your costume.
  • idk_suiGlitch_ASG gives your character special glitch eyes (black with white pupils with red crosses). Only works on SUIs.
  • idk_suiGlitch2_ASG gives your character special glitch eyes (black with red pupils). Only works on SUIs.
  • MidasTouchASG turns island NPCs and other players in common rooms gold. To use, click on the action button, then click on a character to give them the gold effect. It doesn’t work on yourself in Haxe.

      1. Thanks for replying! I just hope they make an Eye Colorizer soon. I would color my eyes like Omegon’s.

      1. Yes but I thought there would be a way to get your eyes permanently colored black with red pupils.

    1. Most costumes will appear on SUIs, but some things (like various types of eyes) only appear on either one type of island or the other. But aside from a few exceptions, everything should appear on your character no matter what island you’re on!

    1. You can use iPop to get Time Freeze for real. It will cost a lot of credits, but I’m pretty sure you would have enough to purchase it, thanks to the credit wheel.

      (It’s virus-free, don’t worry, if you’re afraid about using it.)

    1. If you can’t use IPop, just save your outfit on a SUI island(it won’t let non members save them on non SUIs). Then ASG something thats female, then put on your saved outfit while costumizing on a SUI island

  34. Keep up the great work, fellas! I always check back for new stuff but I know there’s a LOT of costumes you have to go through so I try to stay patient 🙂 Hopefully we’ll get some more ASGs in time for the new Poptropica Worlds!

    BTW… Has anyone tried ASGing the bird on Patches’ head in Escape From Pelican Rock? I know you can get it as a follower but I was curious about the head since I noticed it actually pops up in customization when you first meet Patches XD (Or at least it did, don’t know if they’ve fixed it by now)

  38. Hi, so I have a request/ need help. So you remember the stains glitch or whatever? Like the oil (i think?) that you need to pour on the character’s head on Atlantis in order to get the keys? I saw some people doing the glitch and I really want to know how to do it too. I have a photo but I have nooo clue how to insert it. Hopefully you guys know what I’m talking about XD

    1. Yeah, people do check the comments. And unless there are multiple reports of it not working, maybe the account will work for someone else. In any case, you can use iPop to costumize parts from it.

    1. Some “glitchers” (people who exploit Poptropica’s glitches) who make ASGs may use coding or the browser’s “inspect element” tool. I don’t know all the specifics or how-tos myself, but I hope you’ll enjoy the glitches available to the public!   62. am i going crazy? mc_shadow_outfit walked around my freinds page and once he left his head behind(it snapped back when i clicked on him). then when i was costumizing him walked up to my poptropican and handcuffed him.

This is how to do it, first log into poptropica, then log out, and go to google browser and look up Poptropica Avatar Studio, then, open poptropica and do the avatar studio glitch, and there you have it, sadly, the costume will not be on your poptropica account my. my asgs are i’m-jacob40 – i’m-jacob80

CORRECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! first go to google then open poptropica, then click on *Returning Player* not open a new google tab and type avatar studio and go to that page. now log into your poptropica account and go to a non sui island. and start using patched clothing. sadly, this costume will not be on your account it will be on a new one
