ASG gift

Our Avatar Studio Gift is a present to the Poptropica community, containing a compendium of usernames that will allow access to rare (typically uncustomizable) costumes on Poptropica by way of the Avatar Studio Glitch, commonly known as ASG.

How to ASG

👕👉 The ASG can currently be performed using the ASG Machine created by idk. Enter the following into the tool:

  1. the username of the costume you want to clone (a list of usernames is found below — hover with your cursor to see their name),
  2. the username of the account you want to copy the costume onto, and
  3. the password of the account in step 2.

Don’t worry, your login information won’t be stored—it’s simply used to perform the ASG.

Important notes

  • This could also change your character’s gender if your gender is not the same as the ASG account.
  • In the case of the costume appearing on a new unsaved account instead of your own account, try doing this on a different web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox).
  • An ASG-able account (for those interested in making their own) must be wearing one of the following: jetpack from Early Poptropica, glider from Time Tangled, bowtie from Spy, or chameleon suit from Spy.

*Rare accounts for ASG are listed below with pictures. Check out the pictures to find something you like, then perform the ASG with the username corresponding to the account pictured to obtain the costume.

  • highSpeed_ASG allows you to run 30% faster on non-SUIs, and adds a cool little blurring motion, but does not work on SUIs (sound-updated islands).
  • WKF_ASG_AN-Princess includes fire hands as seen on the character from Monkey Wrench Island (not pictured in Avatar Studio).
  • PopASG16 can only be ASG’d on a SUI and the costume is not visible on Avatar Studio.
  • idk_customField_ASG – Just use the item card (it’s included with the ASG) and jump. You’ll have a forcefield of green, blue, and black!
  • special_booga_ASG is a special power that summons a bunch of Booga sharks. Like all ASGs, this still changes your costume.
  • idk_suiGlitch_ASG gives your character special glitch eyes (black with white pupils with red crosses). Only works on SUIs.
  • idk_suiGlitch2_ASG gives your character special glitch eyes (black with red pupils). Only works on SUIs.
  • MidasTouchASG turns island NPCs and other players in common rooms gold. To use, click on the action button, then click on a character to give them the gold effect. It doesn’t work on yourself in Haxe.

  1. I don’t know if this is for everyone, but highspeed_asg made the whole game, even on friends, store, etc. 80% more laggy, even when I ASGed out of it. (Just a recommendation, you should not ASG it.)

        slantedfish: You can use iPop with these usernames to pick and choose parts you want, while keeping your gender. 😉

      4. If you don’t want to download anything, you can use the MAP tool, which is all online in your web browser. It works a lot like iPop, but you’ll need to fill out every field, even for names of parts you want to keep the same, or else they’ll change.

    I know how to get the front hair bangs, handheld sword and I think the shirt…

        all u have to do is hold it, open avatar studio in other tab, logout, log back in, and you will be on home island holding the Svadilfari. then, log out and create a different account, then friend your other one, open in avatar studio, and do the avatar studio glitch trick. after that you should hold it until it is customized away!

    1. Yeah, @PoptropicaPerfectSky, I think it only works on non-SUIs, I tried it myself. Kind of ironic, with Crisis Caverns probably being a future SUI island.
      Also, can someone make the ASGs for the Viking Feast Pack costumes in the Pop App store? The Gravy Gnasher has already been made, and I really want the fork from the Sausage Smasher.

    1. The best places to look are poptropicon island and home island in the “new you” place. The only problem with those are you have to wait 😐 You could also see if any of your store items or people in your friends list have one.

      2. Unfortunately, this is from a discontinued ad and would be difficult to do without the files. To make an ASG, just attach a jetpack (or other ASG item as listed at the top of this page) to the character.

      7. No, it isn’t possible to make an ASG on the different colored eyes. I would want one too, but the colored eyes disappear when you leave Lunar Colony, and disappear at the end of the island too.

    I want the costume on the RIGHT, if it’s possible. I’ve only seen the necklace but I was wondering if the rest of the costume is avaliable?

        I have another question: I saw a Poptropican wearing this orange guitar. I don’t have a picture of it nor do I know where it comes from, but I have the file name so maybe someone could obtain it through iPop? I’m not sure how iPop works though.   38. HELP!!! I tried to do the Avatar studio glitch but instead of changing my costume, every time I click on the Avatar studio gold card in my item it opened the vent map from 24 Carrot Island.

      Hmmm…. What I suggest doing is opening up poptropica and when you open the Avatar Studio, open a new tab and type down “Poptropica avatar studio” and click on the result. If that doesn’t work try a new browser. (Internet, Firefox, chrome, opera, etc.) I think one of those methods will work. Try one (or both) of them out, and respond back to me with your results.

  45. Can someone help? In about a month, I’m making another movie and I was going to use the Crisis Caverns outfit. But it takes place on an SUI, and the outfit doesn’t work on SUI. I came up with a substitute outfit, but I can’t find anything as good as that hat (my backup outfit for it has just a regular ponytail with no hat). Is there any possibility that the outfit might work on SUI soon? Also, does anyone know of a hat/hair style that looks similar to the Crisis Caverns one?

  49. iPop is a harmless software and I can vouch for its credibility. However, if you’re still not allowed to use it, you can just ASG headlesshorsemanasg, save the axe to your closet or island photos, then ASG another account that has a head on it.

    If you look through some of the comments on this page, I do try to answer when people are having issues with the ASGs. In some cases, the person may just need to perform the ASG on a different web browser for the glitch to work. Also, the ASGs are created by a variety of people (usually not PHB staff), so it is up to them to “fix” it if their ASG is lacking a jetpack or other item needed to make it work. If you find any ASGs here that do not work (after you’ve tried multiple web browsers and/or added them as a friend to confirm they aren’t wearing an ASG item like the jetpack), you can let us know and we’ll remove it from our list.

  50. First of all, there are a lot nicer ways to say this. You can’t just say they’re being lazy because they aren’t fixing them. Not only that some of these ASG’s aren’t theirs (therefore they don’t have access to the accounts), the people on the other side are actual HUMANS, like you and me. You don’t ask your friend to do parkour and drink water at the same time, do you?

    Second of all, if you have a problem, all you need to do is say it. Not ‘NOBODY’ listens, in fact, some such as WKF are trying to be helpful. We’re trying to bring new ASG’s for others and get rid of the problems with the existing ones.

    Third, you can’t just end such sentence with “thank you and have a nice day”. If you read what you were writing, you would realize that such comment cannot end with that phrase.

  51. uhh..it’s not important but BarbieASG and colourful43 have the same hair, and tbh there isn’t a much of a difference between those asgs. There’s another barbie wig out there.Can someone fix that? it just disturbs me that the blonde wig isn’t on this page yet 😛

  52. Whoa! Hold up! First if you have complaints you don’t have to be so rude! The people who make ASGs are HUMAN. We’re not robots that can generate all the ASGs you want because you don’t like the ones we made because you’re ungrateful and picky!

    And nobody is “lazy” because we’re not doing what you want 24/7. There’s plenty of people still in the comment section helping others such as me and my bro Blaze. And if there’s an ASG that’s not working, you can’t just expect us to fix them. We don’t all share ever single account listed on the page. Different people make them and they require a username and password so we can’t just go onto diff accounts and fix them.

      1st – I found it from DD (Dork Diaries the cinema thingy & I’m not addict of dork diaries.) or idk if there’s a store item in back lot membership. (Idk what is the ID item for the cinema thingy. I’m still searching for it.)

  60. I have a little problem. It’s hard for me to find some of the rare items in Poptropica and if I feel like sharing it to Poptropicahelp.net/ then I can. It takes me hours just to find something for myself. But several things have been taken from my closet and worn by a different Poptropica user and that same person put it on this website (iPop#13 swimsuit, iPop#16 skirt, WKF_ASG_BarbieAD necklace) which ruins the purpose of them being rare. Please ask the Poptropica user before just putting it up here like that for many others to use. If you find something on your own instead of taking from other users then you can put it up there if you want to.

      Hello! I am WimpyKidFan or (WKF) – the owner of the “WKF_ASG” s and I need to tell you something. I got the Barbie Costume via a glitching/hacking method I know. I didn’t take it from your closet or steal it from you… I’m just giving other people the chance to experience rares. What’s the point of keeping them to yourself? Bragging rights? See? No point… And how am I supposed to ask you before I make an ASG out of a certain costume?? First of all, there’s millions of poptropica players with different outfits- It’s impossible to ask everyone before making a certain ASG. Second of all, you don’t own the outfit so I don’t need to ask you. The only reason I would’ve needed to ask you to make an outfit in your closet into an ASG if you made up your own costume. (Like a Halloween costume) But since that’s not the case their’s no permission needed. So in conclusion I didn’t “steal” or “take” any of “your” outfits from your closet. I hope you understand…

I actually wouldn’t mind it being shared with the people in the comments because I know you guys are searching for new things.
