  1. Sorry, my mistake. I was in a rush typing that comment. 🙂 My favorite bible verse is Psalm 121! It’s my mum and dad’s wedding verse. Are you a reformed, or catholic, or baptist? I am a reformed. Don’t worry, reformed is the good one. We only worship God, not St.Mary, and stuff like that. We also sing old songs, none of the latest, cool, hip hop songs, but I don’t really mind. 🙂 Some of the songs that we sing have really cool words. There is one called How Great Thou Art. It is not the whole song, just verse 1 and the chorus. Here are the lyrics:

    Verse 1
Oh Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder! Consider all
the works thy hands hath made!
I see the stars, I hear the mighty thunder!
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

    Chorus
Then sings my soul, my savior God to thee!
How great thou art, how great thou art!
    x 2

It is pretty cool huh? 🙂

    1. That’s a memorable chapter! 🙂 I prefer not to concern myself with labels (non-denominational, as it’s called) but I lean more on the side of Protestant, which includes Reformed or Baptist but not Catholic.

I think both old and modern traditions can have good music, but ultimately what matters is how you connect with it. Modern musicians are also able to cover older songs in new styles. How Great Thou Art is a great hymn. Some of my other favorites include All Creatures, Come Thou Fount, and In Christ Alone. 🙂

      1. I think Come thou fount, is amazing. It was my great grandma’s favorite song, until, she passed away. I love it so much, and I miss her so much, that I even cry sometimes when it is sang.

You haven’t met me in real life, and I’m not so sure that it would happen, seeing as you live, um, somewhere, I think in Hong Kong? I kinda live in New Zealand, which, if you know where that is, then you’ll know it is pretty far away. I thought that since you probably won’t meet me, I could tell you, that I am bubbly, I am a letter writing freak, and I am a skilled drawer, swimmer, and no, I am not at all flexible, but I still do dance!(not ballet!!)

My grandparents are actually looking after me, because my parents are away at an easter thingamabob.
I am the only girl in my family, unless it counts my mum. I have 3 brothers, and their names are Alex, Levi, and our youngest, Luther. My parents names, are Rachel and Tim.

        Who lives in your family?
(maybe not cousins and stuff, cos’ that might go a bit far:))

      2. That’s really sweet. The power of music is really something of a marvel. 😛

Yeah, Hong Kong is pretty far from New Zealand (though I’d love to visit it someday!). That’s cool that you are all those things! I’m not athletic myself, but I do like to draw and write as well.

As for my family, I have my parents and a brother who’s a year and a half younger than me. 🙂

    2. I’m Evangelist (which is a lot like Baptist) but we do a lot of the newer, hip-er ones at our church. I think they kind of digress from the point that we are worshipping GOD, not worshipping ourselves worshipping God. I like the newer styles of older hymns that artists like Chris Tomlin, Zealand Worship, and Matt Redman tend to do. Plus there’s Michael Smith who’s almost in a category of his own lol 😂

    3. I’m reformed. I have no idea why people worship st Mary (no offense). So we’re similar after all! Add me in poptropica my username is estherli521 and Poptropica was made exactly a month and 10 days after I was born!

      1. Some people (generally Catholics) believe that Mary’s conception of the Christ child makes her divine like her son, but others believe she was always human like the rest of us.

      2. Reformed is a branch of Protestantism – so if you are Reformed you are Protestant, but if you are Protestant you are not necessarily Reformed (though you might be).

      1. Why did Jeff Kinney call poptropica “Poptropica” and not something like “adventuremap”?

      2. I’m not sure how he came up with the name, but with “Poptropica” it sounds like he was going for something catchy and unique. Although you could describe it as an adventure map, I think Poptropica has a more interesting ring to it. 😛

    1. Thank you! I know this will probably sound old, but I’m 20. I’ve been playing and blogging about Poptropica since I was 11, and it remains something I care about, especially with the blog and community aspects. 🙂

      1. You must be kidding! I’m 19! Yikes! I had absolutely no idea!
        I don’t think you’re old! 🙂
Here is a knock knock joke:

        Knock, Knock!

        (say who’s there)

      2. Not kidding! But you mentioned you were 9 in an earlier comment; I guess that was just a typo. 😛 19 is a lot closer to 20 than 9 is, of course. 😉

        Anyway, who’s there?

      3. Wait your 20? I thought you were ,like,17 or something. I’m ten! Ten years younger then you(what a coincedence).

      1. So cool that people can tell that on what is essentially social media. 🙂
        Inspirational

  2. Hi fishy. Is it okay if you give me tips on how you made this blog. Cause im gonna try and start one right now ( well really its more of a webpage) Thanks !

Ps i understand if you won’t it is probably somehow personal anyway : )

    1. Sure! I used WordPress.com and would recommend that for anyone interested in starting a blog. It’s free, but you can pay for extra features.

Have a goal in mind when you create your blog, even if it’s just for the fun of creating it! Maintaining a quality blog requires time and effort, so give it the attention it needs. If you’re interested in blogging about Poptropica, Creator Skinny Moon has some good tips over here.

My main advice is to find that intersection where you can write about something you’re passionate about that you think people will want to read about. Happy blogging! 😀

      1. Excusez moi! How dare you call me a poo?! (Say it fast, no spaces, if you don’t get it.) 🙂
You are awesome. You know, at my school, we have groups, and each group has the name of a tree, and a color. My group is the color blue and the tree is a Kauri tree.
We had to make a chant for it, so this is what it is:

We are Kauri! (clap, clap, clap)
We are Blue! (clap, clap clap)
We are awesome! (clap, clap, clap)
So are you! (clap, clap, clap)
God is good, God is great, God’s who we appreciate!
        Go……………Kauri!
My older brother is one of the group leaders. 🙂

  3. whats ur username fishy so I can add u to my friends list?!

slantedfish: My username is slantedfish 🙂

  4. My older brother Alex wants you to friend him. His username is: alandbrooke2015 (he hasn’t bothered to change it). 🙂

    1. Sorry I wasn’t able to, but if you hang out on the PHC, you can probably find people who are interested in joining a Multiverse room! Or, keep your eyes peeled on the PHB homepage for details on any parties we may have, where PHB staff like myself will join in on Multiverse parties. 😀

      1. Sorry I have taken so long to reply! I am so clumsy sometimes. Anyways, what is your favorite color, and animal? My favorite animal is a cow, and my favorite color is pink. It may seem like it is a little girls thing, but yea.

Have you ever seen the show Britain’s got talent? It is a really cool show. I like watching it. 🙂

      2. Don’t worry about it! Anyway, my favorite colors are green and purple, and my favorite animals are sea animals – and there is a wide range of them to like, including koi fish, jellyfish, and betta fish. 🐠 I’ve heard of the show, but have not seen it. 🙂

  5. how come poptropica worlds hasn’t come out yet? its past spring time and almost summer

  6. Cool! Yolanda, I am super sorry, before I lied to you, I am actually 9. I am so sorry. I feel really bad, I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I decided to tell the truth. I am really guilty. 😦

  7. Hi! What is everyone’s fave color? And Fishy & Brooke, what are your fave Christian songs? I like Amazing Grace.

      1. Oh you did? Maybe I wasn’t reading them. I will read over, though! Bye!

  8. oh and slanted fish, im having trouble trying to play poptropica worlds. is it like a separate website? I really want to play it

  9. hey brooke, what other games do you play? I used to play club penguin, but it closed down. I also play movie star planet. you should try it its really fun

  10. slanted fish, do you remember the costume contest held a while back? they said the winners costumes would show up in the costume shop. do you know when they might start to sell them?

  11. and omgosh poptropica worlds came out!!!!! 😀 its amazing I love the new outfits and home! but does the game have any common rooms??

    1. It sure did! 😀 There are no common rooms on Worlds at the moment, but stay updated on the blog for news – they will probably add multiplayer features at some point!

      1. Hey guys!! So so sorry I took soooooooooooooooooo long to reply! My mistake!! I was out, and I wasn’t aloud to bring my Mum’s laptop. So sorry! 😦

  12. It’s Dragostea Din Tei’s birthday today! You know, the Numa Numa song! Hooray!

Also the only reason I’m posting this here is because 1,096 days ago I wrote in my reminder about this and to post this here. I’m not joking. It’s been 10 years or so since it was even popular so idk why I’m posting this here…

Whatevs have a beautiful day :)))

    1. There’s currently no way to change your hair/skin color on Worlds other than when you first create your character before entering the game. Hopefully they’ll bring back the Colorizer in a future update!

      1. cool! I have a question about crisis caverns. is there only one level to complete or are there more islands to complete? I finished it already and I want to play something else!

      2. There’s just one island at the moment (Crisis Caverns). More are expected to come soon-ish, including remastered islands inspired by ones from the original Poptropica (like 24 Carrot!). In the meantime, there are tons of islands you can play (or re-play) on the original Poptropica. 😀

  13. every time I go to the theater those videos show up and I cant spin the wheel of loot bc it wont let me 😦 can the creators move it outside again?

  14. Hey fishy where do you live in China? I ask you this because I am staying in China in the summer and I might be staying in the same place as you live. P.S I’m not sure if I added you as my friend in poptropica but just in case I did not, my username is estherli521(pretty random numbers huh?)

      1. Yeah I agree with fishy. In China it’s much more profitable to ride busses of other types public transportation.

    1. I have played other games as well, and might occasionally pick up another game or two for a while, but I’ve stayed with Poptropica the longest. Some of my recommendations are at the top of this page. 😛

@massive whale – I apologize for missing your earlier comment. This blog gets a lot of comments and sometimes I’m not able to reply to them, but I try. Here’s your answer!

      1. Actually, I’ve only played it briefly, and while it’s not my thing, it’s a game many other Poptropicans have said they enjoyed – so it’s listed in the recommendations. 😛

  15. have you ever played club penguin before it closed down? btw you need to get edit the top of this page because club penguin is done for

    1. Well, they decided to invest their efforts in a similar game called Club Penguin Island, but for mobile devices only. At least with Poptropica, you can still play the original even though they came out with Poptropica Worlds.

    2. Probably because in club penguin there are too many websites offering free membership and club penguin wasn’t making enough money.

    1. oh and i restarted crisis caverns again and im at the point where i have to retrieve the egg and give it back to the cythonians but every time i click the egg i just say that its an odd looking rock. i didnt have this problem before the first time

      1. I have that problem too! I tried closing poptropica and then opening it again but the glitch is still there!

      2. That’s an unfortunate but somewhat common glitch. Apparently, you need to click in a very specific spot nearby to grab the egg (where that spot is, I don’t know). If it’s still not working after trying all around the space near the egg, try contacting Poptropica support about the glitch.

    2. If you mean my Poptropican from Worlds, I look a little like her (picture here). I have dark long hair and glasses. I don’t look like my Poptropican from Poptropica Original with her purple hair, but my outfit might sometimes match my Poptropicans (on either game). 😛

  16. Hi, Slanted Fish! I’m your #1 fan! Can you add me? It’s slantedfish123 😉 You’re awesome!sincerely, ~Friendly fish

  17. i tried that thing about the glitch ^ but it is still not working 😥 fishy, can u tell ur peeps about this so the creators can fix it or something

    1. The Creators are aware of it; in fact, the advice about clicking in a specific spot came from them. You can try restarting the island, but if that still doesn’t help, you’ll have to hang tight until they fix the glitch.

      1. I’m not sure I know what Massive Whale means, but I would like to know about that pink tattoo that Scherezade from Arabian Nights has. How did you get it, I’ve been obsessing over it forever! And yes, this comment is almost a year late, I know, but I am really curious!

  18. i cant wait for fourth of july! there r going to b so many fireworks in my area xD we have rich people living in my neighborhood which means the will have very big fireworks :3 lucky us! its like this every year 😀

  19. Guess what!! I just went on Poptropica (after it was being really glitchy this morning) and there were TWO pelican rocks there!!!! TWO!!!
I took pictures for evidence. 😛

  20. hi, its my birthday on sunday! august 6th! im so exited! i cant wait to find out what my older sister got me! heres a joke: there were three people: shut up,trouble, and manners.
one day, manners had a stoumech ache so he went to the toilet. then, trouble went missing.
so,shut up called the police. and when the police arrived, they asked him:” whats your name?”
“Shut Up!” he eagerly answerd. the police, angrily said:”are you lokking for trouble?!”
“yes!” “Where are youR MANNERS?!!!”the police was MAD.”in the toilet.”

  21. Hey, guys! The first time I played episode 2 of Poptropicon, I discovered how much I loved the superhero costumes and I was sad that I would only be able to access them in that one scene. I’ve started a project where I’m making a whole bunch of characters that I’m costumizing the superheroes’ costumes off of, and you can friend them to get the costumes for yourself without having to go through the trouble of playing all of Poptropicon ep. 2 to get them!!
Here’s their usernames so you can get some free epic costumes:
    goworldguy
    gok-man
    gofashionninja
    goteenarachnid
    gomuttonchops
    goelfarcher
    gogoldface
    godirtclaude

    Spread the word!! 🙂
    -Striped Cactus

  22. I haven’t been on the Poptropica Help Blog in 10 years. I used to spend so much time here. What happened to Hijuyo, AKA Scary Tomato? He used to run this place.

    1. That would be me. I’ve been going by the name Slanted Fish for many years now, but I was formerly known as Hijuyo or Scary Tomato. I’m still heading up the blog. Welcome back!

    1. um youre only 6? boy, when I was six ,poptropica and fantage and club penguin was the only websites I went on.

  23. So I was playing animal jam and someone had a red worn blanket on trade and I traded all of my fares to get it but they declined and the worn wasn’t even rare!

  24. Um… TV shows? Who likes Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu? Or Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir?
And what about books? Anyone like:
    -Dork Diaries?
    -Land of Stories?
    -Big Nate?
    -Calvin and Hobbes?
-maybe Harry Potter? Gah, I’m tired of it, honestly.
-WINGS OF FIRE??? BEST BOOK SERIES EVER!!!!!!
    -The Chronicles of Narnia?
-The Time Quintet (like as in A Wrinkle In Time series)?
    -Various fanfics?
    And movies?
    -Ferdinand?
    -Moana?
-A Series Of Unfortunate Events? Not the TV series, haven’t watched that yet.

ANYONE ANYONE ANYONE LIKE ANY OF THES THINGS??? BTW, I am 11, if anyone was wondering.

    1. Oh I knew I was forgetting something! Who likes the book series Spirit Animals? And Secret Hero Society?
And who took their Spirit Animal tests? I got a Siamese cat and an elk and a bee, but I like to stick with a Siamese cat. My friends got a condor and a lion (even though she tried various times NOT to get a lion, she kept getting a lion no matter what, hahaha)!

    2. I read:
Dork diaries, Land of stories 1-6, big nate, calvin and hobbes, harry potter, wings of fire(yes, they are great:)) The cronicles of Narnia, Only a wrinkle in time, thinking of reading the second one, and that’s it. I also love, all rick riordan books, out of my mind, and where the red fern grows, it’s sorta sad tho.

      1. If you like rick riordan, have u read: Kane chronicles, Percy jackson, magnus chase (i have not read this), Heroes of Olympus, or the Trials of Apollo?

  25. What’s your favorite Blue’s Clues episode & why?

    My favorites are:
    1. Blue’s ABCs because it teaches kids how to read.
    2. Math because of counting.
    3. Blue is Frustrated because it teaches viewers what to do if you are frustrated.
    4. Thankful because it’s a Thanksgiving episode.
    5. Blue’s Big Holiday because it’s a Christmas episode.
    6. Pool Party because it’s a summer episode.
    7. Signs because it teaches viewers sing language.
    8. Cafe Blue because it features food.
    9. ¡Un Dia Con Plum because it teaches viewers Spanish.
    10. Blue’s School because Steve & Blue play school.
    11. Colors Everywhere because it teaches viewers how to paint & Joe changes into different color shirts.
    12. Shape Searchers because it shows viewers shapes.
    13. The Alohabet Train because it teaches the viewers ABC’s.
    14. Numbers Everywhere because it also features counting.
    15. Blue Takes You to School because Blue goes to an actual school.
    16. Let’s Write because it teaches viewers how to write.
    17. Blue’s First Holiday because there are flashbacks of the characters as babies.
    18. Joe’s Clues because Joe hides the clues instead of Blue.
    19. Skidoo Adventure because it has a long skidoo segment.
    20. The Fairy Tale Ball because it has the longest skidoo segment ever.

  26. uhh i just want to let you know you all are amazing just the way you are, i love you all so much, remember to stay awesome and god bless you ❤

  27. hi i apologize for kind of flooding the off topic page, but… fishy, is it okay if i cast pop ocs on this page? i’m having a fanfic and i kind of want to cast some ocs to be in the fanfic (you can decide whether to delete this comment or not but i just want to know if it’s okay to cast ocs for my fanfic here)

      1. …and if you don’t have any of these you could just… reply to my comment i guess if that’s okay with you fishy, sorry for stacking up the replies ^^;

  28. Hi, guys. Today, I’ll be telling you that not only there are Steve, Joe, & Josh in Blue’s Clues, but there’s a different UK host named Kevin in the original Blue’s Clues & there’s also a different Portugal host named Duarte that’s also in the original Blue’s Clues. Plus, we have plenty of Blue’s Clues dubs. Here is the list of the dubs other than US, UK, & European Portuguese.

    Latin Spanish
    Castilian Spanish
    Brazilian Portuguese
    German
    Dutch
    Greek
    Russian
    Hebrew
    Arabic
    Polish
    French
    Japanese
    Mandarin Chinese
    Korean
    Indonesian
    Hindi
    Persian

And that’s all the dubs we have right now.

  29. Omg, today in ELA we had to record ourselves explaining R and A Scene I Argument (for a grade)of course I didn’t show my face but my voice sounded freaking weird. I hope my mates don’t judge me but when we come back in person they will be impressed by my drip 😉
