Episode Seventeen: A Friend?

Clumsy Bird, Icy Stone, and Jazzy Hawk were terrified.

It wasn’t the kind of terror they had felt previously — when the play got crashed by an apocalypse, when they got stuck on Time Tangled, and when they had been taken from their balloon and thrown in prison — it was nothing, NOTHING compared to the horror that they had just witnessed.

After days and days of restless and dangerous searching, they had found Toothpick. Except it wasn’t Toothpick. He was working for the bad guys, he wasn’t fidgeting at all, there was no emotion in his eyes, and he was wearing a suit, for crying out loud! (This was particularly odd, because the three friends were used to see him in a casual hoodie.)

But nevertheless, there was no mistaking that IT WAS TOOTHPICK. He stared at them coldly.

Toothpick

No. I don’t know you! Behave yourselves.

Birdy

Pick, but— but—

Episode Sixteen: Blueberries… AGAIN

The friends were coming closer to the wall, determined that nothing could go wrong, nothing at all.

Unfortunately things were going to go wrong. Things were going to go as wrong as they tended to do with all of Poptropica amidst an apocalypse.

Agent Thorn, shaken by the recent discovery of who her boss REALLY was, was walking down a flight of stairs when she glanced out a small window. The window had a perfect view of the hot air balloon coming ever closer to the wall. Three people were visible on the balloon and Thorn knew at once who those three people were. And she knew at once what she had to do.

It was kinda fun to be the bad guy, she had to admit, even though she should be focusing on her main goal.

She ran down the stairs and alerted the wall guards on her walkie-talkie.

Thorn

Three persons aboard a hot air balloon, heading towards the wall. Capture unharmed and under no circumstances are you to zombie-fy them, copy?

Guard (from walkie)

Copy that, Thorn. Capture, unharmed, and un-zombied. Where do we bring them?

Thorn

Just put them in one of the cells when you’re done!

Guard (from walkie)

Copy that.

Thorn walked quickly down the stairs. Part of her hoped that the three would get away… but she knew what had to be done. And if she couldn’t save them, she thought as she reached an elevator and ran inside, she might as well get a front seat for it.

Out on the blimp, the three friends were nearly at the wall, determined to save Toothpick.

Hey Poptropicans! It’s me, Silver Sword ⚔️/Shy Wing 🦋. I know you haven’t heard from me in a while, so I’ve decided to to make a new fanfic! Also, this story features a Poptropican and PHB reader, Magic Kid. Enjoy!

WILSON SCHOOL OF MAGIC 🪔 PROLOGUE

One bright, sunny day on Home Island, Poptropicans were bustling around the whole place. There were lines of new Poptropicans trying to get into Poptropica for the first time, lines to Adventures Outfitters that went outside, millions of blimps taking off and landing, and so much more going on.

Magic Kid looked through her clubhouse window to try and figure out why this was all happening, when suddenly she remembered.

MAGIC KID: “How could I forget? Today’s the first day of Winter!”

She jumped down to the bottom level of her clubhouse and looked around for her winter coat, but when she found it, Magic Kid realized it was very old and dirty.

MAGIC KID: “Guess I’m due for a new coat. To Amelia’s shop!”

She ran out the door and past the line to Adventures Outfitters, accidentally cutting in front of the Poptropican who was up next.

AMELIA (breathlessly): “Good to see you, Magic Kid! What are you looking for today?”

MAGIC KID: “A new coat, please.”

Amelia passed her a brand new coat.

AMELIA: “Take it for free today. I thought I would never say this, but I think I’m gonna earn too much money today.”

Magic kid thanked Amelia and ran back home. She felt something in one of the pockets. She took it out.

MAGIC KID (gasping): “This lamp looks like magic! I’ll put it right here.”

Then she ran off to try her new coat on. However, Magic Kid was too busy to notice some weird noises coming from the lamp…

Episode Fifteen: I Spy

The three friends were in that hot air balloon and had been scanning the ocean for hours. As there wasn’t much to do other than occasionally steering the ship, they had settled for a game of I Spy, which was still very boring.

Icy Stone

I spy with my little eye something… blue.

Jazzy Hawk (semi-gloomily)

Water.

Icy Stone (sarcastically)

Wow? How could you have guessed?

Truth be told, all they could see WAS water. The ocean stretched to all the corners of the horizon, leaving almost nothing but a blue expanse, speckled with a handful of islands. None of the islands they passed looked like it had anything similar to the helicopter they had seen on it. Every island was full of zombies, little purple dots from the view on the hot air balloon, and they served as a reminder on how much damage the apocalypse had done. On how much they had to save.

Clumsy Bird was looking through binoculars through the horizon, keeping an eye out for any upcoming islands.

I spy… OH! An island!

Episode Fourteen: So About What Happened to Toothpick…

Let’s rewind a few days previously to Party Time Tower, right after unsuccessfully trying to change the past. The flying pirate ship is soaring away, engine sputtering dangerously. Toothpick was left alone. Alone, in the middle of a vast hoard of zombies.

He instantly felt as though something had dunked him in ice cold water. Oh, the fear!

Toothpick didn’t know if this made the situation better or worse, but a black helicopter was on his way towards him. 

The zombies had fallen back a bit when the pirate ship had lowered down, but they were now regaining the height at a very quick pace. 

The helicopter was now right above Toothpick. A rope ladder unrolled right by him. 

Pilot

GET IN!

Either Toothpick is captured by zombies, or he gets on that helicopter.
