Poptropica Digital Stickers

As far as I can tell, it looks like Poptropica is going to be coming out with sticker emojis—most likely downloadable as a separate app (though this is not confirmed).

Hello, everyone! It’s Lucky Joker with the weekly Pop Fan Artist Spotlight, and the artist I’ll be showcasing today is the immensely talented CraftyPoptropican! Believe it or not, Crafty’s the very first boy to be featured in the series. 😛 Anyway, let’s get on with it!

Gasp, the Wasp in Ant-Man ad

Hello, everyone! It’s Lucky Joker here, firstly, with an advertisement tutorial from Poptropica Original. The ad is for Marvel’s “Ant-Man and The Wasp” which premieres in theaters July 6. Let’s pop into it!

I was only able to find the ad billboard on the main street of Escape from Pelican Rock Island, so I suggest heading straight there to save some time. 😛

Now here’s what you have to do: first, watch the video trailer; second, pick a character (Ant-Man or The Wasp); third, play the game — dodge all of the floating objects (which includes fruit, frying pans, and other kitchen items) by moving your cursor up and down.

Once you do all of those things, you’ll win an Ant-Man Costume and a Wasp Costume! Who would’ve guessed, right? Anyway, if you tap the space bar while wearing either costume, you’ll shrink!

Update: There’s an “Ant-Man and The Wasp” ad on Poptropica Worlds too. With this ad, just watch the video to get the prizes: an Ant-Man helmet and a Wasp helmet.

Also, yesterday on Twitter, a Poptropican called Rough Bird reached out to the Poptropica Creators about wanting another “Create Your Dream Island” contest for the newer players. And guess what? Poptropica liked the tweet!

It’s a far reach to say there’s going to be another CYDI contest happening this year, but perhaps the Creators will at least consider it for the future!

Pop Fan Artist Spotlight: happyclonetrooper

It’s Lucky Joker here, and today I’m happy to showcase the art of the newest spotlighted Pop fan artist, Brianna—or better known online as happyclonetrooper.

happyclonetrooper primarily draws her original character, Maroon Ring, and the obsessive hunter, Myron Van Buren, in a simplistic and cute Poptropica-esque style. This time, I’ll be featuring the art of my very good friend, Spotted Dragon. You may have heard of her… it’s not like she’s an author on this blog or anything. 😜 Spotted Dragon hasn’t actually done much Poptropica fanart lately, but she does plan on doing some this summer, and the Poptropica art she has already done is definitely worth showcasing here.
