Hello, everyone!
Lucky Joker here to report a minor update that has sneakily made its way onto Poptropica Original in the create a character process.
Lots of new hair and mouth options (some of which are purchasable in the game, like the lips from the Pop Star outfit, for example) have been added in for both boys and girls—replacing many of the older ones.

You can even see some of the randomized NPCs sporting these new looks too! That’s how I came across this update in the first place. 😛
Though this update is pretty insignificant, I have to say that I absolutely love the new variety of hairstyles—especially the afro!

I like what they did with the Old Pop, but, I want to see an update to poptropica worlds.
A common room would definitely give the game WAY more replay value.
Some of the new styles are kind of inconsistent, like the vampire teeth are exclusive towards the vampire boy and girl costumes, of which you have to buy (I guess not anymore). I dunno, but it’s pretty cool they are adding new styles to the randomizer. 🙂

Sneaky little update with no advertising whatsoever by the Creators…(they didn’t even put ONE Greek Sea Odyessy post on their blog! I found out about it thanks to the PHB because I don’t have social media.)I better check out those vampire fangs!(might be part of my Poptropicans Halloween costume!)
This is a great update and all but I am starting to think something. Why in the world are the Poptropica Creators updating the original Poptropica instead of Poptropica Worlds. Like honesty if I was the Poptropica Creators I would of been adding more new smiles and styles for new Poptropicans in Poptropica Worlds. Like Poptropica Worlds is going to be the futur
e of Poptropica so just focus all your time on making Poptropica worlds better as we barely get any updates from Poptropica Worlds..I have a bad theory that the reason why they are updating the Poptropica original more is because they are lacking Poptropica employees who can code in Unity as I bet most of the Poptropica team codes in Flash. So in order to make sure that the players of Poptropica do not get too bored they update the original Poptropica because that is what the employees are used to. I have a feeling that the Poptropica creators are struggling to get more Unity coders. And since Poptropica is really at a all time low right now and not making enough money the paste that the Poptropica Creators are moving at is really bad. Around a month or 2 ago the Poptropica team lost alot of Poptropica Creators and GOD even…… Captain Crawfish too. Hopefully the Poptropica Creators can get more Unity programmers in the near future.
