Sure, I may have just posted, but I’ve got some awesome news for you guys! Let’s look back a few month’s ago at Andrew’s fan art contest. You may remember my beloved submission (if not here ya go):

This image sparked a chord with my creative talent. Many members of the community found this one hilarious, and many followed. Some as prizes for my fan art contest and some for community member birthdays:

I have so much fun creating these “works of art” (if you want to call them that) and you guys seem to love them so much! So, I had this idea. An idea so crazy, so hilarious, so awesome, that it may just work. I’ve dropped hints over my social media (Twitter, Tumblr, and Deviant Art more specifically) and it’s time to announce! 😀 It’s time for…

What is Poptropican Meme Face Mondays (PMFM), you may ask? Well, it’s a weekly meme face creation of your Poptropicans! Basically, every monday I will post a new Poptropican meme face! Think of it like HP’s Poptropican Portraits (although without a livestream, although maybe I’ll do one at some point), but with meme faces.

The best part about it is that you can join in! Simply post in the comments of this post:

  1. Your Poptropica username (very crucial: be sure that your Poptropican is wearing the outfit that you want in the image for at least a week after you’ve posted the comment)
  2. Which meme face you’d like (I’d prefer that you put a link to it)

Each week I’ll make a post here on the PHB with the past week’s winners! But, if you want to see them before then, I’ll be posting them on my Deviant Art (shameless plug) every Saturday.

As of now, I will only be posting two a week, but that may change to more depending on PMFM’s popularity. We’ll see what happens. If I get more than eight requests this week, than I may do five each week excluding this first week (but that’s subject to change). Similarly, I’m going to try steer away from doing more than one per person, at least until after new people have had a chance.

Who gets theirs first (as well as in following weeks) is dependent on commenting. PMFM is going to operate on a first come-first serve basis, so whoever is first to comment gets theirs next week.

You don’t have to comment on new posts if you weren’t picked the previous week, but please comment on the most recent PMFM post so I see your request. I’m going to make a list based on who comments in what order and that will be the list from which I base each week’s lucky winners.

So, that about wraps it up! If you’d like a meme face, be sure to comment below (following the rules I’ve set already)! And, lastly, if you have any questions regarding PMFM, please comment them below, and I’ll do my best to answer them. Have any other thoughts? Comment below.

      7. Cool cool. It’s not actually too hard. Just find an image and put whatever text you’d like in the font “Impact.” Then add a black stroke layer style on the text, and you’re done! 😀

        That may not make sense to you, but that’s how I do it.
