Hey Poptropicans! Timmy Failure Island is now open – well, just Main Street and not yet in glorious technicolor – but if you talk to Timmy on the very left, he’ll tell you that if you enter the promo code TIMMY, you can get 50 credits! (That’s in addition to all the credits we’ve been getting from the Daily Pop-In, which, by the way, has totaled to 500 credits!)
New prizes will be available from Timmy every Thursday up to the Early Access release of the island on September 17th for members. Anyway, let’s check out what we can see so far of Timmy Failure Island! You can click on the screenshots to enlarge them.
Most of the buildings are closed, with the exception of the Timmy Failure Store, which is displayed in full color. There’s a building that appears to be a bank, offices for rent, Maury’s Museum of World Records, and bowling lanes. Plus, you can watch two videos (you can also view them in Slip’s post below).
Hyper Gamer managed to reach this part of the office scaffolding and pick up a Screw Driver item. However, it disappears from the inventory when you leave the game.
Also, if you check your medallions in the Friends section, you’ll notice the Timmy Failure Island Medallion has been added at the far right!

Anyway, I’ve made a discovery on the mobile app. I tapped a “POP ANYWHERE” ad and earned a whoopee cushion as a limited-time item. Maybe since you can’t get the Timmy failure prizes on mobile, they made a little apology prize. I’m not sure if there are going to be more “easter eggs” but still! Free limited-time whoopee cushion on mobile app!

I tapped an ad ( which you can find at the top of this post: http://poptropicahelp.net/2015/07/09/tablet-wings/ ) on the mobile app and for some reason earned the whoopee cushion ( similar to Ricky’s whoopee cushion which you could have earned in a previous ad, this one: http://poptropicahelp.net/2013/10/05/deepdive-3ads/ ) for a limited time.
I just tried tapping the “POPANYWHERE” ad on the mobile app, but nothing happened. Still, that’s cool that it happened to you! 🙂 Also, on the online version of Poptropica, members can get a “Whoopzie Cushion” for free in the Store.
For me, it wasn’t a POP ANYWHERE ad on the main island, but some other one. For example, I won it on Arabian Nights Island. Plus, it showed up as a prize and said it was only for a limited time. Interesting…
