I’m really surprised that it’s already the new year. One year ago, I made a post wishing everyone a happy new year. I told everyone to “live their dreams in 2014”. I feel so excited for 2015. This is a year, for me at least, to really start producing some quality content. I want this not only to be a community about the game “Poptropica” but the people in the community. I’m really confident in the community and I feel like we can do some awesome stuff. I also kept tradition originating from my original post and made a new profile picture for the new year. Look below to see how much I’ve grown.
I touched on this in a recent post, but it’s just so true that I need to say it again- It’s crazy to think that two years ago, that was the best I could do. And not only that, but you guys have gotten a lot more creative since then. The POPCORN opened up a lot of possibilities for fan art and stories, and I feel like we should start an arts community for the PHB (perhaps deviantART?) so that you guys can express yourself along with me. We’ve seen some amazing artists out there, way better than I can do. We’ve found amazing storytellers, who can spin stories like the back of their hands.
I really want to try something new. The Poptropicast was a failed idea to say the least. If any of you can remember, I tried to start a Poptropica podcast last summer. It sort of never really started and I was a bit embarrassed at my inability to do it.
Now, I feel like I could do it, but not alone. I’m going to need help. Someone out there in the community is perfect for the job of a co-host for the Poptropicast. I’m going to find that person. More info on the contest will be coming soon. Until then, a logo for something anticipated…

Wow, it’s been that long? It would be awesome for the PHB to have a DeviantART! Maybe then I’ll actually try to do stuff on my account. XD It’s nice that you’re restarting the portraits, too. 🙂

I’m not sure about a PHB deviantART, since that’d require people to have dA accounts, but perhaps we can start a Poptropica Art Gallery page here on the PHB, and one for fanfics/stories too. And I’m interested to see where Poptropicast might lead. It’s been a while since Poptropican Portraits: Season 2 was announced, but I’m glad it’s back again. 🙂

I use a combination of Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop Elements. :3
I hoped you use Adobe Illustrator Cs 6 . ^_^
