MiniQuests, PHB History, & Android app delayed

Hey Poptropicans! Looking to beat the summer boredom? Poptropica may have nearly 40 islands, but if that’s not enough for you, then try the MiniQuests! There’s a variety of these not-fully-island-length adventures to play, and the PHB has guides for all of them – the most recent addition being our Nano-Combat Training Guide for the Virus Hunter promo mini-game – so go check it out! 🙂

For even more ideas on what to do on Poptropica, check out our list of 101 Boredom Busters or play the new Animacation ad on Main Street of Monster Carnival – more details in my previous post!

A couple of other things: video walkthroughs from YouTube have been added to all our island trivia pages, and I’ve finished writing a brand-new History page for the PHB (under the About tab) that highlights some of the exciting things that have transpired since the birth of the blog in 2008! 😀

Remember when Poptropica said that their mobile app would be available for Android (Google Play) starting July? Well, it looks like that’s not the case anymore. According to a more recent tweet from Poptropica, it’s taking longer than expected and may be ready in September. Sad face. 😦

Anyway, that’s all for now – be sure to check out the posts below for all the latest happenings in Poptropica! There’s the Animacation ad, Mission Atlantis Ep. 2 for members, Survival Ep. 3 for allsome new info on both of those islands, and more. Pop in later, Poptropicans! 😀

  1. I have no boredom! I’m chock full of stuff I have to do in real life, and on the computer! I barely have time for Poptropica anymore 😦 I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I can’t wait for school to start up again. Believe it or not, I’ll be less busy!

  2. um guys? theres this glitch that i cant put on the ice blaster pistol and it takes away my handheld item

  3. Bummer… until September. I have a tablet (nope, not a phone until August!) and I was still excited about Poptropica for Android *sigh* 😦 . If it’s early september, I would still be able to play it, as we have light homework for the first two weeks. But if it’s late september, I would download it: I just wouldn’t have time to play, as in 6th grade you get homework from EVERY subject, except PE, Homeroom, and related arts (Art and Computer Literacy). And in the summer, I have a huge chunk of things to do in the un-computer world, so I won’t have time to play it. And, there’s only a few islands on the app, so it would be fine 🙂 .

      1. For me and tons of others, we have band, choir, or music combo (band and choir). I take the combo, so I have two classes of band, two classes of choir, 1 P.E. and 1 extension (it’s like a study hall). Some people, however, DON’T do band, choir, or combo, so they do General music and library (I don’t know about their schedule). We have reasorce

      2. *Facepalm* What is the problem with teachers! Like my maths teacher; she’s absent for a whole week, and she say we have to catch up! So she piles us up with a whole chapter!!! *Facepalm*

      3. Mean, I haven’t had a sub way actually teaches. The subs just sit and let us talk. Our math teacher didn’t give us any work 😦

  4. About that Android app thing – argggghhhhh noooooo I have been waiting for soooo long D: 😦 Also, I can’t stop thinking that you made a PewDiePie reference (sad face 😦 ) cx

    1. You can’t ask to be a staff member of the PHB. That’s against the rules of the PHB.
