If you own other mobile devices, don’t worry – the Survival Island tour page has been updated to announce that it will soon be coming to the App Store (for iPhones & iPod touches) as well as the Google Play Store (for Androids)!
We also now know that there will be 5 episodes total for Survival Island, and Episode 3 (Distress Signal) now has a description: “A broken radio. A chance for rescue. Send a distress call if you can, but beware of who might be listening!” However, we still don’t know when members can play episode 2.
UPDATE: Survival Island will be launching for non-members on April 17, 2014, according to a recent Poptropica press article (thanks, Brave Tomato!).

I hope the app comes soon! I can’t play survival because I’m stuck on monster carnival. Could you guys help me? I went to get the black lights from the haunted house, and I saw them, and was clicking them, but the puppet kept bothering me and I couldn’t obtain the item. What am I supposed to do?
If you click on the box of black lights, you’re supposed to obtain a black light for your flashlight. If it’s not giving you the item, it’s probably a glitch, and you might want to try playing on a different web browser or computer, updating Flash, contacting Poptropica, or restarting the island.
If you really want to play Survival, you can always leave the island you’re on and come back to it later. 😛
Yea!! I wanna play Survival Island NOW! When will the creators ever release an island and non members get early access?
I think when all the episodes for Survival are released, non-members will finally get to play it.
Also with the update its much easier to maneuver. They made it the classic arrow controls!
