What’s popping, Poptropicans? Blake here, with another piece of fresh-popped Poptropica news. (Seriously, I can’t stop with the puns! HELP!)

So anyway, I was doing my usual round of the island’s common rooms, and found out that (SURPRISE!) I was America’s next top model! Not really. Anyway, I found out that Cosmoe, the main character in the new Funbrain graphic novel series Galactic Hot Dogs (some of you may read it, I personally don’t, for fear of another Spider-Man 3) is in some of the common rooms (such as Vampire’s Curse). (screenshots taken by Slanted Fish; Blake is not a girl)

As you can see, he’s got a flawless 5-star battle ranking, plus you can add him as a friend! He shows up on your friends list with a green star instead of a yellow one (to prove he’s ~special~), and all of his images are stills from GHD telling you about Cosmoe.

You can also customize him (but not his Goober Sword), and that’s pretty much it! First time Poptropica has placed a character in a common room as an ad. (EDIT: His username is npc:cosmoe, so you can add him to your friends that way too! Thanks to raqk for the tip!)

Once again, pop on in next week for another great piece of Poptropica news! But for now, this is Blake, popping the cork off of another adventure in- okay I am so done I mean really what’s with the puns. who writes these scripts I mean really.

Blake’s rant about the quality of his script went on for another two hours before he was shot down by 5 tranquilizer darts. Thank goodness for that, because that’s enough tranquilizer to take down an elephant. But what do I know? I’m just a narrator! Tune in next time for Blake’s newest piece of Poptropica news.     1. Nope; if you add any character just from a multiplayer room, you won’t know what their username is (unfortunately). UPDATE: raqk discovered it – his user is npc:cosmoe 😛

    2. I found out how to view your friends usernames, but its a big pain and ill keep it a secret… I guess ill be nice enough to tell you cosmoes username though… the username is in the parenthesis “npc:cosmoe”

      2. err not parenthesis… whatever there called :/ anyways cosmoes username will be in the parenthis this time, type in EVERYTHING that are in the parenthesis (npc:cosmoe)

  4. Yeah, I found him on Early Poptropica, thinking it was someone in a costume, but when I scrolled on him, I was like, “This is the real Cosmoe!” Also the name and 5 stars gave it away.

  7. Wait, if I remember correctly, there was a Stevens Universe sign in the Early Poptropica common room! You clicked on the button on the sign, and it would take you to Zomberry Stevens Universe ad. So technically, NOT the first ad in a common room.
