If you stalk through the item files of Poptropica for some bit, you are going to run across items that you have never seen before. “Am I missing out?”, you ask. I can tell you soundly that you are not missing out on anything; instead, you have discovered a lost item of Poptropica!
These items are very rare, and will never show up in your game; but outside of the player, you can view these hidden gems, which have never been used, and most likely never will be. These items are not for the new releases, they are for islands that have already been released. With my high tech solutions (ok, totally NOT high tech), I have been able to view these items completely, without having the name cut off. This will make things easier, don’t you think? 😉
First off, a Teleporter Fuse, from Spy Island.
The description says that the satellite teleporter won’t work without the fuse… sort of strange.
This is a Paint Pallette Watch from Counterfeit island; who knows what part of the quest it was supposed to go in, but it does not have a “Wear” button, so it wasn’t a customizable item.
These Gravity Boots are from Lunar Colony, and they are customizable! The first customizable shoes… sad that they were never released. Also in Lunar Colony, this radio headset which you do wear in the quest, but never get an actual item for:
And this Energy Boost Blaster is from Zomberry Island:
We’ll never know for sure what these strange items are for, but it’s sort of neat to know about them. If you ever find something unusual or strange, tell us! 🙂

I thought we were going to put this in the magazine?……
Also, technically, footwear was available in Wimpy Boardwalk.
Yes, mister technical. 😉
Those are so cool!
Thanks! I see you are using my portrait for your Gravatar. 😉 I’m flattered!
Awesome!! I couldn’t find any of those in my items, but I did find some item cards that didn’t have anything on them.
Same here, and thanks. You see, these are not in your inventory, nor will they ever be, because they are lost. 😛
how that sounds cool!?!
Cool! Sad that they were never released… it would be cool if you can wear the Paint Palette Watch and the Gravity Boots! 😆
lol, yep! 😛
I saw the last one in Mocktropica,I thought it was the soda you had to give to Mr.Max McPatrick.
I also saw that. Do you think you would be able to use it?
I do not think so… 😉 But it’s pretty cool that they used to the same can in Mocktropica, although you don’t use it.. it still is a small part of it.
i have the costume collector… i think i have two costumes saved there…. dont remember
Yeah… it was a sadly discontinued item…
Umm….I never saw the costume collector..Is it in the poptropica store?
It was. 😛 It was replaced with the costume closet in the Friends Feature (and can only be used by members).
How did you get the full images? I can only see the bottom-right quarter, unless I resize the window a bit and that doesn’t help much.
:> My secret is secret. :>
personaly i think the watch would be to either paint a fake so the mean woman in the jetski would think its real or to draw nessy out of hiding somehow… 😛
sorry about that i got mixed up between counterfeight and cryptids but the watch could be used for adding things to art or making fake art to lure old widow out of hiding
seeya C.H out poptropicans!!!!!!!!!!
I remember seeing the Teleporter fuse back when SWF’s were relatively new, but I havent seen the new ones at all. I wish they had put them in, cause they seem cool! 😀
IKR? I especially like the Gravity Boots. 😛
is this from a past ad?
That is from the Big Nate Island quest. 😉
omg I found this in the middle of 2 spy island items I don’t think this is one http://static.poptropica.com/items/item61.swf
Shoes would look SUPER weird on poptropicans, even if Gravity boots look SUPER cool. 🙂
Well, if you played Pelican Rock you know that the villain, the Booted Bandit, is YOU WITH BOOTS ON, so yeah.
Whenever I look at the Poptropica SWF links all I can think about is one thing: I wish I knew how to view these cards in full without the partial cut off. Even after all these years of being aware of the links I still don’t know!! I’d love to get high quality screenshots of some of the items no longer in the game, advertisement items in particular, but there is no point if I’m only seeing a fraction of said cards.
You can download the SWFs and use a tool like JPEXS Flash Decompiler to view the images in full, high quality. 🙂
I thing the satellite fuse was spose to be used when Dr. D reavealed that he tricked you
just before typing the password.
