Dream Islands and Daily Pops

Hey guys, BT here. Now, first of all, you know the Create Your Dream Island where anyone kids between ages 8-12 can submit their own island ideas? Well, this is only part of the tons of entries the Creators have been receiving:

Wow, that’s a lot of entries (and a pic of Super Power Island characters Speeding Spike and Betty Jetty among them)! However, only one of these entries will become an island, but there will be finalists who will still get something for trying.

I wish I was young enough to participate… I have a great idea that’s been floating in my head for a while.

Anyways, I’ve been looking around the Daily Pops lately and I’ve been seeing a lot of strange ones (there’s a lot of these so you’ll need to click on ‘Read more’ if you want to check them out here)…

Spelunky: Gear up before you go down.
On the Edge: Don’t go overboard.
Undercurrents: Like this water, you may eventually find your own level.
Home on the Strange: If you don’t like the place you live, you can always dig up another.
Pooled Resources: Value is in the eye of the beholder, of course.
Mouth of Madness: Are you sure you want to go inside?
The Odious Machine: You’ve got to put your bodies on the gears and the wheels and make it stop.
Crystal Caves: Untold riches await, for those who dare.
Blank Stares: Don’t get into a staring contest with these guys.
Puzzling: The legend of the puzzling adventure.
Gate Crasher: You came to the wrong neighborhood.
On the Inside: The sunlight falls away fast when you’re underground. / What the Elk: All of your questions anwered right here.

(This Daily Pop appears twice with different captions for some reason. Was this an accident?)

High Camp: Wherever you lay your head is home.
Big Mouth: You don’t want to jaw with this guy.
Bone Up: It’s not a castle, but this is a gray skull.
The Glow Pt 2: A light in the darkness is helpful no matter where it’s from.
Drill Down: There’s only one way to get to the bottom of this.

Okay, now I’m kinda confused. There’s those Mocktropica Daily Pops. Those Battle Bots. Those Yellowstone National Park-related Daily Pops. And now, we’re seeing caves, garden moles, crystals, and drills.

By the way, the more crystalline caverns look kinda familiar… I don’t know.

I have no idea what’s in the future for Poptropica after Virus Hunter Island… but why do I have a feeling Legendary Swords have something to do with at least one of these?

BT out…

  1. I just noticed that on the map, Virus Hunter Island is COLORED! Does that mean that the Creators will have the Islands on the map colored?

      1. OHH, the colored islands mean that that island has sound! That’s what it means! 😮

  2. Everybody is saying Legendary Swords! Does anyone remember the end of that mini game? E.Vile says he’ll be back or something like that, maybe the creators are making it into an island? Just a thought 😉

    1. And I still don’t understand what is the ‘Home Island’ at the beginning.Maybe the blue screen place where you put your age and gender and then your Poptropican comes out and you can change his/her anything (most of them,at least)?

  3. Look at this We know it’s been a long time coming. We know you’ve been patient. We know we’ve promised a lot. And we’ve been working around the clock to make sure we can deliver on those promises. Now, we’re very happy to say that Early Access to Virus Hunter Island will be available this week!

It’s the biggest, wildest Poptropica adventure we’ve ever made. It’s got a bigger screen, music and sound effects, and an epic storyline. We’re very proud of Virus Hunter Island, and we can’t wait until you can play it.

We’ll let you know exactly when Virus Hunter Island is available. Keep checking back! I Know cool or what

  4. It’s obvious that this island/quest is going to take place underground. Did you happen to notice how in “Home on the Strange” the worker is a mole? Perhaps we will encounter a city of moles. The reason those people have white eyes is probably because they have lived in darkness their entire life. Societies of cave people and moles.. Very intriguing.
