Only members get to keep the pink jumpsuit, but this still gives non-members a chance to try it out and send some feedback to the Creators! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to play through all of it, as the keyboard wouldn’t show up for me to type on Dr. Hare’s computer, and it lagged and crashed a few times so it took a while to put the video together as well. The cursor made it harder to move as well, so it’s a good thing that’s not going to stay! Also in the video, you’ll notice I went through the smelter room squished – that was, um, amusing.
Anyway, the music was really impressive, and the larger screen was so big my 13-inch laptop screen couldn’t view it all until I actually full-screened! Not having to chase the cat was also a plus. Happy beta testing, everyone!

After I clicked the link and it DID lead there. But after a matter of seconds before it loaded, it just went to Poptropica’s menu. 😦 Is it patched? This soon?!? 😦
I had the same problem when I played this today… It worked yesterday.

I played this yesterday, when HPuterpop posted the comment with the link. I was able to play this yesterday, but when I tried it today, I had the same problem as CS. The link would reload to the home page… Hmmm…. Must be glitchy. 😦

Yeah, the glitch has been patched. 😦 Going to the link mentioned in the post brings you to the Beta Carrotene page, but it won’t load and it’ll eventually redirect back to Poptropica.
Well, once Virus Hunter comes out, everybody will get to play any Island they want with sound!

It’s the same link (http://www.poptropica.com/game/) but it looks like the Creators just changed it so that instead of redirecting to Poptropica, it would stay on the page but not load. Either way, we can’t access BETA Carrotene this way anymore, unfortunately.

i am still a member but in the beta tester gold card there is no icon called launch beta
