Happy Second Week of the New Year! Have you made any New Year’s resolutions (or *gulp* broken any)? Well it appears that the Creators have in this interesting new post.
New Year’s resolutions
It’s that time of year again when everybody makes well-meaning plans to better themselves, only to abandon them within a week. Well, not us. We stick to our plans. This year, we’re resolved to do the following:
- Make the best Poptropica Islands ever
- Add new features that you’ve been wanting for years
- Give you even more ways to enjoy Poptropica
- Eat fewer carbs
Wait, forget that last one. Bread is too delicious to give up. But the rest of it? You better believe those are our New Year’s resolutions!

I completely agree, bread is way too… wait! Before that! What could be coming soon to Poptropica?
The best Islands ever? Could one of these Islands be Monster Carnival? How about Mardi Gras and the Mall Island? What other Island ideas do they have stewing?
Add new features? What have we been wanting for years? One thing definitely comes to mind, Houses! The Creators have acknowledged this idea before and have even added a poll asking if we would want our own houses. You can check that out over here.
More ways to enjoy Poptropica? What else can they add, does this not just happen when you add the best Islands ever and awesome new features that we have been dying to get?

OMG! I don’t mean to sound girly, but SQUEEEE!!! Around the time that house poll was created (back when I didn’t read the Creator’s Blog), I had sent them a letter, saying my idea for houses and other stuff. They never wrote back, but apparently they saw it! 😀 Hopefully my dream will become a reality!!!

Poptropica used to be unique :(. Oh also, I asked the creators to unlock my old account and they DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poptropica houses would be awesome. I wonder if they might be related to the “Cosmic Condos – coming soon” signs around Lunar Colony, or if that’s just there for decoration.
Another thing that was supposed to be “coming soon” was the Legendary Swords Battle Arena. The notice has been there since 2011! 😛

True, by cutting back on the cookies it’s certain I will not get fat. 😆
The Creators’ should add a chat bar. If anyone swears, the swear word will be replaced by “pop”.
They should also put a “Forgot Password” button, because last time I tried to login in to my account, I nearly forgot my password! XD
They do have a “Forgot Password?” prompt. If you type in your username and click OK without typing in a password, or if you typed the wrong password, you can click on the “Forgot Password?” button and Poptropica will email you instructions on resetting your password to the email address associated with your account. 🙂
Maybe, these Pop Quizzes we have been getting the past year have something to do with the Poptropica Housing Commitee. Maybe, these Pop Quizzes will help us design our houses without all of the hard work.
We may also get to decorate these houses anyway we wish.
There also might be new Pop Quizzes with a house-theme. What type of house, what furniture, where would you want to live. For the living, if they have an ‘Alaska’ option, I’m living there! I live in Alaska, and I’m proud of it!
Also, to answer my previous two Pop Quizzes, I would live in a mansion and I would want either a sophisticated-theme, or a hippy, ’60s “Peace” theme.
