Halloween would not be complete without… A CONTEST! WHOOOOOOO!!! Now presenting: The Poptropica Help Blog’s Second Annual Halloween Costume Contest!!

So here’s how it’ll go! The judges (Enclosed Lightning, Hijuyo, Shaggy Tornado, and Zey-shomi) will evaluate every entry and decide on 3 top winners. Winners will be announced on October 31st – HALLOWEEN! May the best spooks win!

[IMPORTANT] Rules
Please make sure you meet all requirements or your entry may be disqualified.

  1. To enter, post your Poptropica username in a comment below.
  2. Your objective is to dress your character up in the coolest, scariest, most amazing Halloween Poptropica costume ever!
  3. One entry per person only.
  4. Be original! Do not copy someone else’s costume and pass it off as your own.
  5. You can use Poptropica Store items. If you are using a costume-type item, please do not just Costumize the entire thing. Mixing and matching is recommended.
  6. No hacks allowed. (Eg. MAP, for those of you with access to it. iCostume parts are fine, but do not copy the entire costume.)
  7. Anyone can enter [except the judges], so be sure to tell your friends to join!
  8. Contest lasts until October 16 9. Winners will be announced on October 31st.

Prizes!!
Credits will be added to your Poptropica account; paid for by Enclosed Lightning!

  1. GRAND PRIZE: 1,000 credits added to winner’s Poptropica account + a secret video!!
  2. 2nd [Runner-Up]: 500 credits + secret video!
  3. 3rd [Runner-Up]: 500 credits!

    Hijuyo: Ultimately, it’s judged on creativity, but we’ll take extra consideration in those who did the “extras” (but you can still win without doing any). 😉

  20. Hi. I’m Sona345. My first entry’s user name is Sona11. My costume is titled Robin Hood’s Pajamas. It is one of my favorite costumes I created along the lines of pajamas. Plus, it looks really cool against the The Crystal Gate on Astronights Island. My second entry’s user name is BlueVirginia10. This is one of my guitarist for my band. Slightly influenced probably by Josie and the Pussicats. If it is I didn’t realize while I was making it. My final entry is another of the guitarists. When I was making it, it vaguely reminded me of a word— pack rat. Could it be a band nickname for her? Oh, well. You guys are so cool! I’m thinking about starting a Poptropican band, but I need some tips on what to name it? So read this, look up me on the avatar studio, and give me some name ideas for a band. Please. Thanks! 😉

    Sorry I couldn’t get the real saved image for you guys, but you have to download and I don’t have my own computer. My parents would NOT be happy if they found out I messed up their computer. LOL
    What am I, you ask? Well….
    I’M SOME KIND OF ROBOT ALIEN WARRIOR PRINCESS FROM OUTER SPACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD
    I WAS going to use the shrink ray gun instead of the sword, but it had dissappeared from my inventory. 😦
    I know this isn’t the best, but I still worked really hard on it. Any constructive criticism i9s welcome, but PLEASE nothing that will totally shatter my feelings!

    i found a cheat with the karate kid ad kick. without any animated thing on besides that, go costomize a random person with the kick on and press space and u will jump araound like a lonnatic!

I know, not very original, but at least I went to the trouble of finding all this stuff. Sorry if that sounds rude. I want to know if using Wednesday as my costume counts as taking someone’s idea.
