Yup, it’s true. Pirates are roaming the high seas, and one is a topper them all. His pirate ship be…

You’d better hope not. Of all the terrors you’ll encounter on the high seas of Skullduggery Island, none will send a chill down your mizzenmast quite like Captain Crawfish’s ship. If you happen upon this vessel in open water, you’re liable to be sunk — that is, unless you you earn enough doubloons to buy this bird-like warship I’ve been hearing so much about lately…

Ha! I’d like to see you try. Bring it on — tomorrow.

    1. It’s already 18 here in the Philippines, and still no Skullduggery. 😐

Hijuyo: The Creators probably meant June 17th in their own time zone.. >_>

      1. Probably…but the question is, which one? I don’t think they posted which time zone they were referring to… .-.

  1. WARNING: SPOILERS INSIDE COMMENT!

I’ve seen the ship a lot… I only have the second ship (after the one you get in the beginning), so I can’t beat him. I see him around the hidden island. Sometimes I’m able to escape to a dock. I’ll never beat SD. xD

    1. SPOILER ALERT
yes you have to buy that to be able to sink crawfish’s ship otherwise whenever his ship is supposed to sink it will just get half of its full health up

  2. The creators lied. They said they’d realease the island TODAY but its not there.

Hijuyo: It’s been released.. just an hour before June 18th in my time zone, but they fulfilled this promise. 😛

  3. How do you ring the gong on Dragon Cove? I’m looking for a mallet, but I can’t find one anywhere.

Hijuyo: To get the mallet, step on the first dragon head in the water.

  4. I like the game and stuff… but i hired a person for about 15 thousand doubloons (DBS). I saved the game and took a break. When I came back, the person was gone, and that person was supposed to raise my cargo space by 50%. I really need help getting it back, and I don’t feel like paying and getting the DBS again, what should I do?

  5. I agree, this is much too tedious for the younger players. Poptropica is an action-game packed with colors to attract them, lightning-fast. If we wanted a strategy game we’d go somewhere else. It takes much too time to assemble 1 Million Doubloons. This will be the only island I won’t complete. Thanks alot Poptropica, looks like after Mythology Island you had to make a bad island because you couldn’t bear to be fun and exciting.

    1. I agree with Elementer…do you think a little seven-year-old kid could finish SKULLDUGGERY? And without a walkthrough guide? I think NOT! Maybe easy islands like Early Poptropica and Shark Tooth, but NOT Mythology, Astro-Knights, and definately Skullduggery. My little sister is almost nine and she can’t finish Astro-Knights without help…let alone Skullduggery. The only reason that we’re able to finish this island is because there are four kids in the family that are helping with completing it…and we’re still not even finished with SD yet, not even halfway through! We all have multi-players, but to finish SD on every single one of our players would be ridiculous. SD is a v-e-r-y long island that would be fun to play once or a couple of times.

    2. I agree. I wish they had made it simpler, because not many younger kids (Poptropica’s target audience) would be able to figure this out. I don’t think I’ll complete this island. I played for a long time, and I am nowhere near 100,000 doubloons, let alone 1 million. They should make it cheaper, so younger players could have a chance to complete it.

    3. I personally agree. Some people are six and play poptropica, and most of those people couldn’t even READ that kinda stuff. I even made the mistake of thinking i had 12,000 doubloons to hire a navigator (a very long word for the little kids) when I only had 1,200. 😦

      1. At least mythology and astronights islands are fun. Skullduggery is so boring. WORST ISLAND EVER!!!!

      2. Even older kids can get bored with it. I’m 15 and I don’t plan on finishing the island, it’s such a waste. -_-

  6. Skullduggery Island was by far, my favorite island. I am already done with it. I finished the island in like an hour. Now I am just going to earn more money and destroy more ships and monsters.

  7. I don’t like Skullduggery Island at all. It’s by far the most difficult and time consuming island the Poptropica Creators have ever made. Besides that, it gets boring after only a short bit of gameplay. I doubt it’ll be easy for anyone to collect the 1,000,000 dabloons it takes to buy the ship to beat the island and many players would quickly give up before earning half that. Very displeased.

    1. Once you get a ship like the Koi, the 1,000,000 is realy easy. Just smash every ship or monster that comes in your way. I got like, 11,000 every ship and monster and 300,000 every time I sold something. Oh, and DO NOT GO AND GET A LOAN! I loaned every doubloon in the bank and payed three times as many as I loaned!

      1. that’s because you have interest. you have to pay more money the more time you borrowed it.

  8. if you look in the fort telescope before you find the old merchant you can sometimes see Crawfish’s ship. :O When I played it the first time I actually thought he was coming to attack. 😯

  9. The ship looks like a crab! 🙂 Oh! Hint for Skullduggery: Do NOT get a large amount for loans! You will end up paying twice as much as you were loaned. For the best, I wouldn’t get a loan at all.

  10. 1,343,087 Going to buy the ship, and for some reason , i can’t even destroy ships smaller than mine. They have a smaller health than me, but when I hit them like 20 times and almost kill them, they attack me once and i sink. wow, and they’re like wimpy Koi ships.

  11. Still haven’t completed it! UGHH! I only have, like 40,000 doubloons, plus the Navigator. And have long since had all of the map pieces. Oh, and my ship? Still just the one-cannon Carabelle (or Clarabelle, or whatever it’s called.)
