A new secret on Poptropica! Can you unlock it?
Says Captain Crawfish, “Somebody has hidden a hypnotic new item somewhere in the world of Poptropica! It’s totally free — you just have to find it. Here’s a screenshot of where the item is hiding.”
Find this location, tap on the window pane, and the prize – a “Hypnotic” costume – is all yours! Click the “Read More” button for spoilers.
The prize is hidden at the Poptropica Towers on Early Poptropica Island. To find the exact hiding spot, go left until you stop at a green tower. Jump up four stories high, and find the window pane in the middle with the orange flower pot. Click on the top-left corner of that window, and you will receive the “Hypnotic” costume! 😀
The Hypnotic is the same for both boys and girls – weird (yet cool) wavy hair going straight up, hypnotic goggles with orange-and-yellow moving swirls, an orange-and-yellow swirly shirt, and plain dark pants.

In other news…
- The 2010 South Africa World Cup is this summer, and in honor of that, we’ve redesigned the header for a football feel. Don’t forget to get yourself a Soccer Player costume, too!
- As you’ve probably noticed, the PHB’s theme layout has changed from “Connections” to “Ocean Mist”, which reflects Poptropica’s main color – blue!
- Tsuki~Yoha (otherwise known as Ninja Kitty Cat Cool Wing) has joined our Poptropica Help Team and we can look forward to getting our future Poptropica updates from her!

I found a glitch, go to Bouffant Bay.
Then hop up till you see the sign “Bouffant Bay”
After that, go left and click on the lever. Before you complete the switch, walk away. Then your item will look like you are charging with it.
Note: Works best with a long hand held, like a sword or staff.

In america, Football is different. It’s a lemon shaped brown ball. And here in america football is called soccer.. so you may want to edit it in case.
Hijuyo: Soccer is known as football in most other places, and the other ‘football’ (which doesn’t even use the foot as much) is known as American Football. 😛
No offence, but *gah*! I don’t like the blue theme at all! (BTW, I got the Hypnotic outfit. 😀 Really cool.)

The new page does look a bit different. I like it but the comments look weird. No offense intended. Sorry. Can’t you change the colour of the “Connections” theme to blue? I think that will keep everyone happy…

How to get the hypnotic costume is explained in the post. This was from two years ago, so it probably isn’t there anymore.
It can be found hitting down a flower pot on Early Poptropica Island for non member and members.
