It’s no April Fool’s joke. Poptropica Members will have Early Access to Mythology Island beginning this Thursday, April 1!

And as stated on its information page, Mythology Island will be open to all on April 29, 2010. Almost a month away. x_x

Today, Dr. Hare showed us on the Creators’ Blog that your Island Medallion card for Reality TV Island actually keeps track of the amount of seasons you have dominated in on the island! Unless you beat Hippie Harry to fame and fortune, in which case I despise you.

Exhibit A: A common result of extreme boredness.

Dr. Hare continues to mock us in his post by challenging us to beat his high score of a whopping five seasons won. He then questions us how many times we have completed Reality TV Island, the latest island brought to you by the creators. He also probably should’ve asked us how many times we have been way too busy to even play Reality TV Island. 🙂

As the lazy boy I am, I am a 1-time winner. Tell us: how many times have you completed Reality TV Island? Haven’t even completed one season? What are you doing then? Head out to that island and compete! With guide in hand, you’re sure to overtake the bunny himself.

    1. I ran one character through 12 wins. So the medallion shows 12, at least. Doubtful you want to go to 99 to see if it shows 3 digits, but maybe someone locked in a cellar for a month with nothing else to do.

  9. I have a question: What if your membership ended in the middle of the early access period of myth island? Would your game on myth island still be saved? Even if the game thinks you didn’t unlock myth island,can you play the island again and get the 100 credits again?

    Hijuyo: As long your membership is active, you can access any island on its early access period. Your game would probably be saved, so if you earned the island medallion, it would still be there after your membership runs out. 😛

  10. Well I’ve beaten Dr. Hare by a longshot and I don’t have membership. 8 seasons and counting… I had a very long and boring weekend.

      1. It’s possible, I’ve only managed to pull of three in a row, I hate the geyser guess.

      3. I have discovered a cheat for getting out of having to do the challenges you hate. If it happens to come across one you don’t like (me personally, its Turtle Shell Toss), simply click back, then click “Start Day” or whatever it says again, and hopefully you can get an easier one! 😛 You can always click back again if it isn’t.

      1. Oh. My enemies are Black Widow, Sickly Skull, Dr. Hare, Sarah Snooty, Director D, Merry Muse, and Cathy Codex. A lot of enemies, as you can see. They always try to vite me off.

  16. A glitch is on any of the challenges, if you have a costume on and you press the space bar, you can still do the challenge. For example, if you’re doing the boulder pushing challenge, I have a guitar and if I press the space bar, I will still be doing that action and pushing the boulder while both my hands will be playing the guitar.

  18. I have another RTV glitch!! When you are on the RTV helicopter taking off,when the helicopter is almost at th top,use ctrl+shft+4 to jump off and go down to where the blades were before U left on the helicopter: You will spin on thin air! 😆

  19. also,the membership gets boring after a while, TRUST ME ; ! Ihave had the membership for so long that I don’t even want it anymore! The only reason I want the membership still is early access to Myth Island! 😦

  23. I think the creators are torturing nonmembers!Now RTV finally came out for everybody and everybody is disappointed about RTV being sucky and the creators now are releasing Myth island for members at april 1st and nonmembers at april 29th!It’s like nonmembers are being continually punished! 😡

  34. I found this glitch on RTV’s Challenge called Pole Climb if you’re on Pole Climb don’t press start. Press the back button then if u have a Flower Power put it on then click the forward button then start doing pole climb and when you climb, press Spacebar with your Flower Power, then your character will do some sudden moves! It will also do the HANDCUFF thing!! and best of all press ctrl+shift+4 and after you leap your character will DANCE!!!(Not tap dancing.)

    1. The only way you cant be Smocker’s arch nemisis is if when there is hippie man you lose intentionally.So smockers theoretically has a LOT of nemisises! 🙂

    Members are so dang lucky! I just finish RTV and then they get to play Mythology! *Stomps off to secluded corner and sulks* 😡 😡 😡

    I’m sure it’ll be the best island ever!

  50. I HATE SARAH SNOOTY! She is my BIGGEST ENEMY EVER!! It seems like we ALWAYS try to vote each other off in every challenge unless one of us wins a challenge. I don’t like Cathy Cortex, either—she was with me in the final 2 in my first time winning RTV.
    P.S. I’m a 2-time winner. YIPPEE
