Froot Loops – WHO STOLE THE COLOR?!

Hello peoples! Today I bring you an new update from Poptropica – the new Froot Loops ad game. It appears on Early Poptropica and Spy Island, and ages 6-8 can view it. I had the luxury of playing it with my 13 yr old account instead of creating a new account, via methods I won’t reveal yet. Anyway, on to the ad. When you walk in, you are greeted by one of (I’m guessing here, so help me out) Toucan Sam’s nephews.

Walking over to the far right, you’ll be greeted by the head honcho himself – Toucan Sam. He tells you that someone named “Black Beak” stole all the color. In order to restore it, you must retrieve his “Color Laser” which is a magical object which brings color to whatever it hits. (Seriously, who comes up with this stuff? :))

BUT WAIT! Sadly, you just can’t walk in and ask Black Beak to “pretty please with cherries on top” give you the Laser and treasure back. Instead, the treasure is guarded by some pretty nasty dudes – Black Beak’s henchmen. When I say nasty, I don’t mean that they look buff, in fact, they look scrawny. Actually, they look down right ugly. (Seriously!) Anyway, in order to complete the ad you must reach various cliffs and stand on top of the stalagmites, which blocks the henchmen so that Toucan Sam and his crew of cereal-loving nephews can safely reach the treasure and laser. After you’ve blocked all the hence men (therefore creating a safe path for Toucan Sam) and reached the treasure and laser, Toucan Sam comes. Then the second part of the game begins. This time, you have to draw holes around the hencemen that try and attack Sam, without letting them reach him.

Reminds me of Dawn of the Living Dead...and those pirates play the role too well. =D

SAfter you’ve done this you’ve won the game. Toucan sam rewards you by giving you the laser, which you can then use to turn yourself and others different colors.

Personally, I think Toucan Sam and his nephews need to get help with their cereal addiction, but hey, that’s just me.

I promised Setew2 (of the PHF) that I’d also use this post to bring light to a dilemma of his. This is turning in to quite a long post. I’d like to bring light to yet another issue. SG and the Grapes have disbanded because of the amount of fighting over the band. If you’d like SG and the Grapes to stay together, please write a few kind words in your comment.

    1. Oh and about the band spitting up? It’s so sad! They were the first, the best AND the greatest Poptropican band EVER!!!
      To have them split up is like eating bubblegum without flavour!
      Or a star that doesn’t twinkle.
      Or, or…….
      Well I guess I’m getting carried away but you know what I mean! And I’m not just saying this because Motionman said to put a few nice words for them in our comments!
      I really mean it!
      It would be upsetting for a lot of people!
      So please SG and the Grapes: If your reading this PLEASE dont split up!!!

  10. Aw man that’s a supreme bummer that SG and the Grapes are breaking up! I thought that it’d be supremely awesome that Poptropicans can come together to form a band. On a brighter note: Motionman, you are SO funny! “Cereal addiction”-that is absolutely hysterical!

  12. The first and most rockin’ Poptropican-made band I’ve ever seen. Me and sanz were some of the first ones to hear this devastating news(I think). Words of hope was the only thing to convince you SG to stay. So please SG, don’t leave this band like Grumpy Wolf left the PHB. Hard work put into such a great thing, then put aside forever. We love SGATG and it had the SG we all know and love! So please stay! For your fans, band mates who would go crazy and balistic without your guidance (no offense), and for the sake that you came up with the idea for the first Poptropican-based band! This is a long comment, but for a good use…

    1. Sad to say but, *sniffle* AHH! It’s not comin’ out! CREATORS! WHY!??!

      Motion based it on Char. loader…now it don’t work so motion HAD to cancel it… When motion said without creating an account it means
      he used a hack of some sort (that he’s keeping a secret from the rest of us) to do the ads even if it’s for 8 year olds not 13 year olds.

      Hey PHB! Your job is tough responding to people’s questions and all. You guys work hard so you guys must get all A’s in school…Me too :p

  28. Gashpz! The blog has changed its header to pumpkins (sorta) and their avatars too! The backgrounds are purple and they’re face color is green.
    Pretty cool to see them dress up for this upcoming month XD

    2. u dont know for sure. only the creators know wether or not it will be released. Also, Haunted House isnt an island, they just put it up there to advertise it for the people that go to the homepage first to get them excited.
