Hello everyone! It seems that the Poptropica Creators’ Blog has released another sneak peek of Nabooti Island! This time it’s of a new game! For some of you who might play Club Penguin, you’ll recognize this game: Mancala! However, the Creators’ Blog doesn’t clearly define whether or not:
1. If it’s only playable on Nabooti Island
2. If it’s multiplayer
Also, for some reason, people on YouTube are posting comments about how Poptropica “stole” this from Club Penguin. o_o Just a reminder to all: Mancala was not created by Club Penguin. Just wanted to clear that up. =) Anyways, video below:

Yeah. I play Club Penguin too. I don’t think they “stole” it but i think it was a traditional game played by the Malays or something like that.

Why does Poptropica have Mancala in the first place? Who came up with the idea? How many Nabooti Island sneak peeks are posted so far?
Smockers: First Question: Probably to go along with Nabooti Island release (if it’s a multiplayer game). It might, like Serious Spider’s comment, be actually a part of the plot of Nabooti Island. In other words, you might have to play it in order to complete Nabooti Island. Second Question: A Poptropica Creator? Some people are thinking a Poptropica Creator played Club Penguin and stole Mancala. Third Question: We have 13 Nabooti Island sneak peeks. If you want to see them all, go to the homepage, look on the right, and you should see “Categories”. Under that, find “Choose Your Own Adventure” and click on it. Hope I helped!
I think you have to play it against some-one in Nabooti island to get past something. You can see two people standing around in the faint background. It’s probably similar to the Great Wall of China in Time Tangled Island where you have to verse the guy to win the amulet.
Smockers: You might be right! I also noticed two people in the background the time I watched the video, but I didn’t pay it any mind. Nice theory!

Scary Tomato: I don’t think they did anyway, because as Smockers said, Club Penguin didn’t invent Mancala. Even if they had, Club Penguin never “Copyrighted” Mancala as theirs. 😉
Hmmmm looks like an icy hill thingy i saw the two people too! but it looks cold hmmmmm I wonder if you can climb it? or it could be a multi player game the two people could be poptropicans. hmmmmm thats all i have.

Scary Tomato: The Poptropica Tour only shows part of Nabooti Island, not the whole thing. We don’t actually know whether this is going to be a multiplayer game or not, or even whether it’s just for Nabooti Island where you have to win the game as part of the quest like the Great Wall of China’s memory game on Time Tangled. 😉

When you challenge the man to a game of Mancala, it will tell you how to play. The instructions it gives are:
Select one of the 6 cups on your side (the bottom row). Your goal is to get the most stones on your tray on the right side. If you end in an empty cup on your side, you capture the stones from that cup and the one across from it. If you end in your tray, you get to go again.
Hi I am having trouble beating the game Mancala on Nabooti how do I beat it, I have tryed almost every kind of move and still can’t beat it is there a certain way to beat it please tell me I can’t watch the walk thoughts because my computer can’t held the videos.
