You’ve stepped into Flying Squid territory, which appears to be the interior of a submarine! To the left, on the first floor, you’ll find the first interactive element: a basin of black squid ink. Jump in, and for three seconds, you’ll be as dark as ink!

The second floor contains the exit door in the center. On the third floor, you’ll find the second interactive element to the left: a ship’s steering wheel which spins when clicked on and releases bubbles from the pipes next to it!

In the center, you’ll find a grand view of some fish swimming in the sea. The right side of the third floor is home to a sleeping giant squid encased in a glass container.

      1. Yes, to enter a certain tribe’s room you need to belong to that tribe. However, it’s easy to change your tribe so you can visit the different rooms. Check the Tribes page for more details.

        You recently left some comments on the PHB that were against our commenting policy, being unfriendly in nature – and as such, have been deleted. However, you should be aware of a few things:

        1) Contrary to your insistence, “FTW” is widely accepted on the internet as an acronym for the positive phrase “for the win”. Other things it may stand for are not as common.

        2) The rivalry between tribes you see in comments left by others is not meant to be taken personally. Many have picked favorite tribes for various reasons, but all competition is meant to be friendly.

        3) Your comment that “you should be nicer to others; Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins so you should just BACK OFF” making use of all-caps rage and an overuse of exclamation points comes across as contradictory. Think on it. Are you representing Jesus’s nature by screaming at others?

  7. There should be another tribe based island. like, the tribe members have to battle other tribes. But its all real people battling each other. That would be a lot better than poptropilis games! What do you think about that, Slanted Fish?

    2. @Gentle Spinner,I guess we Nanobots have our own island,Virus Hunter Island,the Flying Squids have skullduggery island and stuff…..I only have two suggestiomns for tribe-based islands…sorry 😆

      7. Spinner, Captain Crawfish is in Flying Squid, and isn’t he a major part of the island? (Is there a Poptropica Creator in Pathfinders tribe? If you don’t believe me on the ‘CC is in FS’ statement, his username is CaptainCrawfishCreator.)

  14. I’m a Skydoesminecraft fan, sure. I’ve literally punched the screen once because of Deadlox having a squid on his head, but anyways, back to topic. I love Black Flag’s common room, but I’m unsure about how the others look like (Besides the Flying Squid). I know this is completely off topic, but I remembered that there was a picture of a minecraft squid flying… and the text below it said: “This is what the Mayans really predicted”. (Back on topic again). I like other tribes, but to me, I think that Black Flag’s common room and tribe is cool- not like that other tribes aren’t.

  22. My username is ShyPerson8000 and I completed 8 islands and have 3 pages of store items. Oh and I’m not a member and I have 51 friends most of them had finished 0. Some completed 5 4 1 0 2. But one came from Galactic Hot Dogs.

  29. Dear Tribes,

    Please forgive my comrade, Gentle Spinner of the Pathfinders for the rude comments. I know that pathfinders is 1 of the tribes with the least members. but I want to highlight something else.
    The creators only created tribes for fun, but i think we got the wrong idea by making fun of other tribes. In my honest opinion, they should delete the tribes and give poptropolis a similar but diffrent plot. (like poptropicans against invaders or something, just saying. I think that’s a weak plot too.). *salutes poptropicans with no tribe* I’ve been to all the tribes’ common rooms and they’re all as nice.I stand beside all poptropicans fighting for peace and are against tribal war.

  33. I’m Young Rock and I’m also in Flying Squid but it’s no biggie. You don’t have to brag about which Tribe your in. Some people are sensitive and it hurts their self-esteem or they start bragging as well. Add me- marinas225425

  40. I think all the tribes are best because they all have unique stuff so don’t worry about which tribe is the best so keep working hard and support your own tribe 😉

  47. But still just stop the war (I’m not taking this personal but what I am saying is true though because the war has been going on for too long)
    So if we can have peace we can be friends like black flags and flying squid are water like tribes and pathfinders with nano bots because nanobots have the tech to locate the place and pathfinders the finding skills
