Welcome to Spy Island, dear agent. You’re in for a wild adventure.

Enter the spy headquarters and jump up to the top where the green-and-black screen is. Talk to Director D and get the Decoder Kit from him.

Now, exit and jump to the top of the building. There will be a spy crouched there. Pretty neat, huh?

Using your Decoder Kit, translate the message from Director D. The coded message says, when Dr. Spyglass points to a symbol, choose the one that faces the… “OPPOSITE DIRECTION”.

Dr. Spyglass, Eye Doctor

Go to Dr. Spyglass’s building to the right. Take the eye test, but whatever the doctor points to, choose the “E” that faces the opposite direction. (An “E” facing upwards would mean that you needed to choose an “E” facing downwards.)

If you did it correctly, he will tell you to meet him upstairs.

spy1

Then he will go upstairs. Exit the eye doctor’s building, climb the ladder to the left until you see a door, and enter it. Once inside, talk to Dr. Spyglass again and he will give you a Chameleon Suit that will make you almost invisible.

The First Spy

Go to the Docks and get the message from the guy in the trash can. He will give you a message that says, “There’s a secret entrance to the warehouse ON THE ROOF.”

Put on your chameleon suit, and in this area, climb as high as you can while avoiding the B.A.D. guards, because if you bump into them, they will knock you over! Be careful; they can see you when you move. You’ll find a door. Go in and continue. (Remember to be wearing your chameleon suit.)

spy2

Beware of the B.A.D. guard dogs (Fang, Slasher, and Fluffy). They’ll bite you if you get too close. If you get knocked over, you end up on the floor above you, so be careful. Eventually, you’ll reach a room you can go inside.

Go past the dogs by walking carefully. Stop when they get close. They can’t see you because of your suit, and they will walk on past you. Do this with all the dogs. At the bottom, go left.

spy3

You should see some little platforms above you. Get on them, and jump to the other side. You should have landed in a small hidden room. Talk to the tied up spy there to free him.

He will give you a Laser Pen and a satellite clue.

The Second Spy

Now leave the warehouse and go back to Main Street. Then go all the way to the right and go to Balding Avenue. If you continue to the right you will see a guy wearing green camouflage. Talk to him and he’ll give you a message that says, “There’s a top B.A.D. agent in BISTRO.”

B.A.D. Bistro

To access the B.A.D. control center, you’ll need a B.A.D. agent’s fingerprint. Keep going right until you get to a little restaurant called the B.A.D. Bistro. Take off your suit and walk in (the chameleon suit isn’t allowed inside). Go all the way to the right to the kitchen and talk to the chef.

Ask to apply for the job and he will tell you that you need to pass a test. It’s simply a game of Simon Says. Watch the order he taps the ingredients, then imitate it. You’ll have to do this a few times. If you win the game then he’ll give you a Chef’s Hat and you become a chef; if you lose, try again.

Next, go to the table with people seated around it and click on the guy with the mustache. He’ll ask you to fill up his glass. You’ll get the glass with his Fingerprint on it.

Go back into the kitchen and jump on the fridge, then jump on the shelf and there will be an opening above you. Go through it and jump from lamp to lamp until you reach the wall. Then fall to the ground and leave the bistro.

The Warning

Head right and you’ll see another guy in camouflage. Talk to him and he’ll give you an item – File X – that contains a decodable secret message.

If you read it the way you’d normally read a letter, it tells you what a great man Director D is and how you have to trust him. But don’t get fooled too easily!

This file really contains the opposite message than what meets the eye at first glance. Here’s how to decode it: all you need to do is read the first letter of every line! It says “DON’T TRUST DIRECTOR D.”  How devious! (Note: You don’t have to know what the file actually says to complete this quest, but it’s good to be warned about Director D. first, and you’re probably curious anyway.)

Toupee Terrace

Now continue right over to Toupee Terrace. Now you’ll want to carefully get to the top of the house without getting zapped. It may seem hard at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty easy. What you have to do is jump from window ledge to window ledge until you reach the top, and watch out for the yellow zappers, because they’ll knock you off if you bump into them!

When you get to the top, you’ll find a window with bars in front of it. Get in front of the window and it will show a close-up of the window. Your mouse is now the laser pen. Click on the bars to cut them to pieces, then enter.

Go inside, and you’ll be in the attic. Walk left and you will see another secret agent tied up there. Free him and he will give you a Grappling Bowtie.  This will help you reach higher heights. He’ll also give you another satellite clue.

The Third Spy

Exit the attic and go back to Balding Avenue. Using the grappling bowtie, go as high as you can, until you see the sign for the rooftops. Go up. (To use the grappling bowtie just click on the bowtie on the bottom left and click which way you want to go.)

Use your grappling bowtie to try to grab another platform. (Be careful, there’s a B.A.D. guard there!) Now use your grappling bowtie to try to grab another platform or antenna at the top left. Talk to the guy there. Now aim your bowtie to the far right and try to grab another antenna.

When you swing over there and are directly above the building, click again (at the top of the screen) so that they let go of the rope, otherwise they will swing back. Enter the tube.

Greenhouse

You are now in a greenhouse. Take off your Bowtie, because wearing it will make this part more difficult. Go to the far right and you will see a cherry bomb tree. Click on the cherry bomb and move the cherry bomb left.

spy9

Now push it to the flower pad on the ground and it will bounce to a higher floor. Get on that floor and push it to the left until it falls on the lower platform. Push it onto the other bouncy flower pad and it will go to a higher platform.

spy7

(Watch out for the flytraps. They will throw you off!) Go to the platform, and finally, to the cage with the spy agent girl trapped inside.

Now push the cherry bomb in front of the cage and wait until it blows up. When it does, the cage door breaks and the last spy will be freed.

The spy will give you a pair of Ultra-Vision Goggles and the last satellite clue.

Defeating Director D.

Now leave the greenhouse and go back to Balding Avenue. Go right past Toupee Terrace, all the way to the right again until you reach the B.A.D. control center. Here you’ll need to put on your ultra-vision goggles. You will see that the zaps are timed, so you will know when it is safe to move.

Move along to the right, then when you reach a dead end, go up. Soon you should see a door. Click it and use the fingerprint on the glass to unlock it.

Once you’re inside the room, climb up the platforms, avoiding all zaps. When you reach the top you will see a computer. Click on it and enter the passwords. The three passwords for the teleporter are 1: laser 2: hair 3: removal.

A Close “Shave” with Minibots & Director D.

And then… Director D. will show his true self. Go into the teleporter and Director D. will talk about his plan to make everyone in Poptropica BALD!

spy14

Then his mini bots will come out. To destroy the mini bots, lead them to the yellow orbs in the four corners of the room. When they hit an orb, they will explode.

There will be 4 minibots, and there are 4 yellow orbs – one on the bottom right, one on the bottom left, one on the top right and one on the top left.

Use your bowtie to help you get to the top parts. When Director D. fights you with his machine, make it crash onto the ceiling four times. To do this, get onto the top of the machine while it is moving and wait for it to crash. (You will know when a crash was successful if you see the word “CRUNCH”!)

Alternatively, you can use your bowtie to get yourself on the ceiling, then hold on so that you stay swinging on the ceiling. You will be luring Director D.’s machine to you, and when it gets to you, it will crunch on the ceiling but knock you off, where you can continue to try and crunch the flying machine again.

Well done, agent—or should I say, director?

Once you’ve defeated Director D, you will be brought back to the headquarters. The top secretary at the spy headquarters will present you with the quest reward: the Spy Island Medallion and credits to spend in the store. Director D will be locked up in a little prison cell inside headquarters, and you will be the new director! Congratulations!

At the beginning of the quest, you might have noticed there was a screen in the spy headquarters that said, “Welcome, Agent (your character’s last name).” Now that you’re the new director, the screen will now say “Director” instead! Good work out there, fellow spy.

  1. Thanks for that Scary Tomato! Rainbow bird did’nt finish the cheat. I was going to post the rest but it’s a school day and it’s 5:30 am over here in New Zealand!!! And my mum would not be happy.

Go into headquarters and talk to Director D and get the decoder kit from him
Get out and jump to the top of the building. There will be a guy there.
Talk to him and He’ll give you a message with a code that says, when Dr. Spyglass points to a symbol, choose the one that faces in the… OPPOSITE DIRECTION
Go to the eye doctor and ask for an eye exam and do what the message says.
He will say “I see that Director D has sent you. Meet me upstairs.”
Get out of the room and climb the ladder to the left and enter the door.
Talk to doctor Spyglass and he will give you a chameleon suit which makes you invisible when your not moving.
Get out of the room and go to the Docks. Talk to the guy in the trashcan.
He will give you a message that says, There’s a secret entrance to the warehouse ON THE ROOF.
Climb as high as you can there and watch out for the guards because they can see you when you move. You’ll find a door. Go in and continue. Careful for the dogs. They’ll bit you. Then there is a room you can go in. There is a tied up spy there. Click on him and he’ll give you a laser pen and a satellite clue.
Now get out of the warehouse and go back to Main street. Then go all the way to the right and go to Balding Avenue. If you continue to the right you will see a guy in camouflage. Talk to him and he’ll give you a message that says, there’s a top B.A.D. agent in Bistro. To access the B.A.D. control center you’ll need his FINGERPRINT.
Keep going right until you get to a place called B.A.D. Bistro. Take off your suit and go in. Go all the way to the right to the kitchen and talk to the chef. Ask to apply for the job and he will tell you that you need to pass a test. It’s simply a game of simon says. If you win the game then he’ll give you a chef’s hat. Then you go to the table with people at it and click on the guy with the mustache. He’ll ask you to fill up his glass. You’ll get the glass with his fingerprint on it.
Go back into the kitchen and jump on the fridge then jump on the shelf and there will be an opening above you. Go through it and jump from lamp to lamp till you get to the wall. Then fall to the ground and get out of the room. Go right and you’ll see another guy in camouflage. Talk to him and he’ll give you a secret letter. That you must decode. It looks like a bunch of random words. That’s because… it is!! All you need to do is read the first letter of every line and it reads DON’T TRUST DIRECTOR D.
Now continue right and go to Toupee Terrace. Now you have to carefully get to the top of the house without getting zapped. It may seem hard at first but Once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty easy. When you get to the top you’ll find a window with bars in front of it. Get inf ront of the window and it will show a close up of the window. Your mouse is now the laser pen. Click on the bars to cut through them. Then you’ll be able to get in.

Go to the rooftops. Use your grappling bowtie to try to grab another platform. Careful, there’s a guard there. Now use your grappling bowtie to try to grab another platform or antenna at the top left. Talk to the guy there. Now aim your bowtie to the far right and try to grab another antenna. When you swing over there and are directly above the building click again (at the top of the screen) so that they let go of the rope. Otherwise they will swing back.
Then enter the tube thing. You are now in a greenhouse. TAKE OFF YOUR BOWTIE!! It will make this harder.
Go to the far right and you will see a cherry bomb tree. Click on the cherry bomb and go the right of it.
Now push it to the flower thing on the ground and it will bounce it to a higher floor. Get on that floor and push it to the left till it falls on the lower platform.
Push it onto the other bouncy flower thing and it will go to a higher platform.
Go to that platform, (WATCH OUT FOR THE FLYTRAP. IT WILL THROW YOU OFF!!) and finally it to the cage with the girl trapped in it.
Now wait till it blows up and the girl is free. She will give you ultra vision goggles and the third satellite clue.
Now get out of there and go back to Toupee Terrace. Go all the way to the right until you get the B.A.D. control center. Now put on your goggles. Now get past the lasers. When you get to the rocks, jump higher and past more lasers. Then you’ll find a door. Click it and use the fingerprint on the glass to unlock it. Jump on the platforms until you get to a big computer. Click on one of the control things on the sides. You’ll get trapped in a cage but don’t worry, Dr.D lets you out and you have to solve the code. Type in this. For the first password type in “Laser” press enter. “Hair” press enter and “Removal” and press enter. Dr.D will show his true self. Go into the teleporter and Dr.D will say something and his mini bots will come out. There are 4 of them. Then follow them to the globes. There are 4 of them. 2 on the bottam right and left hand corners and the top right and left hand corners. Use your bowtie to help you get up to the top globes. When you have defeated the mini bots Dr.D will say something, and he will start flying around in his machine. See those little lights on his machine? Go up to the top of the roof by using your bowtie When a crunch is finished, a light wiil go out o his machine. When you have got all four he will give up you will taken back to headquaters. and Dr.D will be trapped in a cage and the guy will give you a medal.

      1. I cant do it either IDK whats happening I did this island once and I wanted to it again but aparently I can’t :,(.

    2. Why’d you write it anyway? Whats the point?

Slanted Fish: This guide was written to help other Poptropicans who might not know what to do on the island.

      1. im SO glad there’s not a bonus quest. if i was a member and there WAS a bonus quest it would be 2 much 4 me!

    3. I talked to the eye doctor and did the chart backwards and he said that I was a spy and told me to go upstairs, but then when I went outside and went to the upstairs door, I went inside but when I got in I was downstairs. 1. OMG SLANTED FISH I friended you and you look so cool you have completed so many islands YOU ARE AWESOME.

  3. Hi! I love this web.! But what took you so long to do Spy Island? I finished it the day it came out! BTW, how old are you? TTYL!

Scary Tomato: About my age, please read the About page. I have a life too, so I can’t spend all my time on Spy Island. 😉

    1. I’m an active blogger, and it can be hard to focus on anything else, sometimes. But, everyone has lives.

    2. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER, I PASSED SPY ISLAND! FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER, I COULD BE NOTICED BY A CREATOR! THEY MIGHT TELL US WHO’S IN THE HALL OF FAME TOMORROW, SO I HAVE TO PASS ISLANDS TODAY! FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER, NOTHINGS IN MY WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      *falls out of chair*

  4. DUDE I tried and tried to finish it without a guide @ first but I decided to. This is the site I tried THANK U !!!!!!

  5. Mitell I did not write the rest because my fingers got tired. And that was enough writing for the day. But to day I wrote the rest.

  6. i DID THE CODE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AND IT DIDNT WORK

Scary Tomato: The code? It’s not supposed to be some kind of message you decode. What the guide meant is this…

    1. Go to the glasses shop on Main Street.
    2. Talk to doctor, and ask for an eye exam.
    3. Choose the E that faces in the opposite direction. Not just any direction. In your head, flip the E sideways, and select that answer. (So, an E facing up would mean that you need to choose the E facing down.)

    1. Hey, thanks Scary Tomato! You rock! I finished all the other Islands and I just can’t finish Spy Island. But with your help blog I know I can. @ first, I tried to do it myself. Some of my friends already have passed some of the Islands. But after school let out I couldn’t remember what to do so I typed in “POPTROPICA HELP BLOG” and I found your website and I’ve been doing it ever since!!

      Best of luck,
      CoffeeCreamer12

      1. Dear Hijuyo,

        Sincerly,
        MistyWizardEmma101 🙂
P.S:I put that 🙂 ( smiley face there because I am full of happiness now so I should have put this:

        Sincerly, 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
MistyWizardEmma101 ( Full of HAPPINESS because of you!)

  7. Thankyou Scary Tomato. I’ve used quite a lot of your work. In my opinion, I think Spy Island has been the most challenging of all islands. I do hope ‘Big Nate’ and the ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ island will be as challenging as Spy Island. What do you think?

Scary Tomato: I agree. Spy Island was definitely challenging, and that made it more fun to play. 😀

  8. Hey Scary Tomato I was so close to winning Spy Island but when I rescued the 3rd spy my computer wouldn`t work. So I logged out when I came back I didn`t have my vision goggles! How do I get them back?

Scary Tomato: You’ll just have to do that part again to get your goggles back… 😦

  9. Do you know when the Choose Your Own Adventure Islands and Big Nate Island is out Scary Tomato?
Oh,and I almost forgot,I beaten Spy Island in 1 day!
    I’m a Director,not a Profeser.

Scary Tomato: I’m sorry, no, I don’t know when those islands will be coming out. If I knew, don’t you think I would tell you? 😉 They are coming out this fall is all I know.

  10. I always go back in there and she`s never there! She`s always in headquarters. What do I do???????

Scary Tomato: I’m sorry, I don’t know what you mean. Who’s “she”?

  11. She is the 3rd spy.Sorry.

Scary Tomato: Well, if one of the spies are in the headquarters and you’ve freed them already, that’s good! When you free a spy they return to the headquarters. You’ve got nothing to worry about – just continue with the quest! 😉

  12. I know but I don`t have my goggles!

Scary Tomato: Well, that’s not supposed to happen – must be a glitch. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon. In the meantime, I can only suggest for you to log in and out, keep visiting the greenhouse, and checking to see if the spy is in the greenhouse so you can get your goggles.

    1. It`s been a year & I still haven`t finished it. This is the longest it`s taken me… I`ve done everything you said and never got my vision goggles.

      I guess I`ll never finish Spy Island… 😦

  13. Dude, Spy Island Rocks!!!
Scary Tomato, do you think on Big Nate Island that we will look like the characters on Big Nate, or we will lokk like the regular Poptropica people?
Sorry, but why do some people have their name as Name Unknown?

Scary Tomato: Why would we look like Big Nate? We’d look like whatever we look like now, unless you use the Costumizer on Big Nate or something, I guess.
And Name Unknown is just another Poptropica name. I don’t know why it seems that so many people have that name, though.

    1. Yes, names are reused a lot – during the two years I’ve been doing Poptropica, I’ve seen a lot of Name Unknowns, a lot of strange whales (my name), and a lot of Scary Tomatoes (I don’t know why, it just seems to me as though about half of Poptropicans are Scary Tomatoes – either that, or Hijuyo is on Poptropica ALL. THE. TIME).

  14. how come you get to play Nabooti island

Scary Tomato: I don’t – well, at least, not yet. I will be able to when Nabooti Island comes out, and you’ll be able to play it too… 🙄

  15. Yo Scary Tomato I’m a big fan of yours. When i first found out you had a weblog i used it then told all my friends about it too. I loooooooooooove it.

P.S. I can’t wait for Choose your own adventure, Big Nate, and reality T.V. islands! Can you?

Scary Tomato: Cool! The upcoming islands sound really interesting, too – it’s going to be great! 🙂

  16. poptropica is fun except i don’t get to play that often

    ps 😆
    Spy Island is
kind of easy but i think that BNIsland will be easier

  17. So it was true Director D is bad sniff he was kind of friendly you all know……BUT BEING THE DIRECTOR???????OFF THE HOOK
What did he say anyway i forgot XO
Maybe this is a fatal mistake that Director D is not bad but The eye doctor said it…isnt it like they two look desame???but the hair cut and the job.pfftt…. sorry hahaha
What a scare!when the lazers at the toupee terrace(the sounds with like shock over boarded me somewhere but thank god i didnt fell
    Who’s Agent Y??
Is it okay if If i free the first spy….can i just battle Director D??

Scary Tomato: This is kind of considered spam, but I can see you’re talking about Spy Island, which is fine – here. Please keep your comments in one, though. I had to merge all 6 of your comments into this one.
I don’t know who Agent Y is. (Never heard of him/her, in fact.) And you have to free all 3 spies to begin the battle against Director D.

    1. In File X (the paper you have to read vertically), at the end it says:
      Dutifully, Agent Y
But other than that, I’ve never actually seen an Agent Y, so my guess is it’s just an nonexistent agent’s code name that the Creators made up because they needed to have a signature on the File.

  18. Help Me! I won spy island and then logged out and when I logged in again I still had the medal but director D was director again and was saying”Great Job! Now you must go to the B.A.D. hideout!” What happened?! Help meeeeeeeeeee please! What do I do!
By the way Scary tomato you rock as much as poptropica! Please come and visit my blog some-time!:p
I am busy axe on poptropica!
I never said I was in love with a kid on poptropica! We’re still friends though. Poptropica rules less then scary tomato!
    Totally.

Scary Tomato: Thanks. I’ll look out for you on Poptropica.
Please also keep all your comments in one, it gets annoying to have to put them together so they’re not in the way.
To answer your question, that is a glitch that they accidentally did not save the game for you. Just go back to the B.A.D. Control enter and defeat Director D. and his minibots again.

  19. So it means that Director D. is bad???or is he the manager of B.A.D???

Scary Tomato: According to the plot, in the end you find out Director D. was the bad guy behind the evil plan to remove the hair of everyone in Poptropica. We don’t know whether he was in the B.A.D. society, though. 😕

  20. Help Me! I won spy island and then logged out and when I logged in again I still had the medal but director D was director again and was saying”Great Job! Now you must go to the B.A.D. hideout!” What happened?! Help meeeeeeeeeee please! What do I do!

    Yea –
That’s what happened to me when I played Time Tangled. I had all my good stuff and all – I had already saved it when I first started the game. I then opened another window and made my brother an account. Then, when we were traveling to Time Tangled island in my brother’s account, it took so long that I closed that screen. Then I refreshed MY account’s page and there my brother was – in MY account with all his looks but he had my warrior mask and my glider. So then I had to start ALL OVER AGAIN!! 😦 But oh well – I have a way better account now! 🙂

    1. i just had the same exact problem,i was Direcor Cloud, and the next day i was Agent cloud.I had to get into the B.A.D. control center and defeat director d again.that only happened two times though.=]

    2. That’s what happened to me on Poptropica ,moshi monsters,Bin weevils, club penguin and movie star planet CRAZY!

      Yours and alway
      Golden sponge

  21. Clark – Thanks for asking; and yes, I did have fun!

Mitchell Brett – Really? Well, even if it has, it’s okay because you don’t really need the secret letter, since you all know what it says: DON’T TRUST DIRECTOR D.

  22. i thought that top B.A.D agent at the bistro was the boss of B.A.D but it was director d or maybe they are both bosses.
for a second i thought director d was good but file x told me everything
    it said
    d
    o
    n
    t

    t
    r
    u
    s
    t

    d
    i
    r
    e
    c
    t
    o
    r

    d

    1. Weird! I thought that exact same thing! I went on, and after I logged off, I even wrote Don’t trust Directer D on a piece of paper so I’d remember!

      1. I’ve thought Director D was bad ever since I first saw him. I mean, look at him! The way he’s dressed, it just looks kinda shady.

  23. Drake – Click on the spy to untie him/her.

Zippy Fish – Interesting! Try to avoid the zapper, though. 😉

  24. I have been Director Peanut for almost a month.

Scary Tomato: Congratulations. If you become a Director, you stay as one. 😉 So don’t worry about losing your title!

  25. mine is not working at the bot part one of them got stuck or something!!!!
    i need help!!!!
please get on my account and do something!!!
    please!!!
    username:bunnyboo21147

or u could email me at [email protected]
    thankyou!!!!

    1. You can log out then log back in, but it will be at the part where it says “Directer D, you’re behind all this!?”

  26. kara stacey- that happened 2 my sister.its an occasional glitch in poptropica

    scary tomato-nice guide very detailed

  27. Kara Stacey – Well, I’m afraid I don’t have enough time to help, but maybe someone else here is able to. Try again, though!

    Tough Claw – Thanks!

    1. WOW… SCARY TOMATO!!! I am gonna look for you EVERYWHERE. BIG FAN. Hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Look for Happy Bubbles on Poptropica PLEASE!!!!!!!!! 😉 🙂 Don’t waste the Cherry bomb! They’re hard to get back up… and UP… ok. Just don’t waste it!

      1. Hijuyo i’m a big fan of yours so if u found a GIRL named funny beetle then that’s me!!!! I can be found at the hair club on spy island. 🙂 I’m on poptrpica Just about ummm… i think everyday. But i’m not too sure anyways hope u find me some time. 🙂

    1. No what they meant was they won it without the help of the guide. 😛 lol

Hijuyo: No, the comment says “all quests with your help” except Early Poptropica, so I linked to the EP guide.

  28. Leah – Read the guide, and follow it. Read the whole thing again if you’re still not sure. 😉

    Carlos – That’s nice. 🙂

  29. can yo go on my website and get the glasses that make you see the invisible lasers my user name is leah099 password bo0biey

Scary Tomato: What website? Also, if you need the ultra-vision goggles, read the guide on this page for help. 🙄

  30. Leah, if you want the glasses read the cheat here. It will help you with the spy island mission. [And the glasses]

  31. I did log off and on and do what I was supposed to by defeating director D but EVERY SINGLE TIME I LOGGED BACK ON HE WAS DIRECTOR AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scary Tomato: Well, it’s just a glitch, you don’t have to get so worked up over it. Wait a few days and try again. That’s the only way – if it still doesn’t work, consider making a new account. 😉

  32. if you sign in on poptropica, when you have signed in, scroll down and you will see a sign saying something like “sign up to know when nabooti island is coming out!!!” click on it and enter your e-mail adress and click on ok and you will be sent a e-mail the day nabooti island comes out!!!

  33. that was so easy ……… once i had red the instructions a few thousand times!
this is the best blog ever!

  34. i made a new account and it still didn’t work. Help. What is wrong? I did what you said and logged back in. DID NOT WORK. Is it my computer?

Scary Tomato: It’s probably your computer then. 😦

  35. hi scary tomatoe
    your pop blog is awesome
    i have a problem though
i have saved the first agent but he didn’t give me the laser pen
    what should i do????

    yours faithfully

    Owen

    Your biggest fan

Scary Tomato: The spy that gives you the pen is the one inside the warehouse, did you get the spies mixed up? If that’s not the case, check your inventory to see if it’s there. If you’re still not successful, go back to the warehouse and see if the spy is freed or not, and if it’s not, free him for the pen. 😉 Write back if this still doesn’t work.

  36. hello scary tomatoe

i did not get the speies mixed up, and ,
    its not in my inventory.
i went back to the warehouse and the spy wasn’t there so it was probaly freed
    what should i do now?

your pop site is still cool though]

    yours faitfully

    owen

    your biggest fan

  37. Owen – It’s probably a glitch where the game isn’t working right, then. I’m sorry, but the only way to fix this is to start over with a new account. 😦

Rachel – Uh, I didn’t quite catch what you were saying. What is “tt”? Are you saying that when you click to go right, you go left instead? Are you sure? Because it’s possible you mixed up the lefts and rights… 😕

  38. IM SURE WHEN I CLICK THE LEFT IT GOES RIGHT AND WHEN I CLICK RIGHT IT GOES LEFT
SORRY ABOUT THE CAPITALS I ACIDENTILLY PRESSED CAPS LOCK

  39. Every time I read another Spy Island guide on other websites it always ends with “you’ll get trapped in a cage”.

    Your website is so cool!

  40. Rachel – Well, I still kind of doubt that. Here is a diagram of where “left” is, and where “right” is:

    LEFT —————– RIGHT

Zade – Thanks. About the “you’ll get trapped in a cage” thing, people tend to like to copy each other, so they all probably got it from one same person. 🙂

  41. can some one tell me how can i get another lazer pen becouse i lost my lazer pen somehow

Scary Tomato: Try going back to the spy you got the pen from and see if they’ll have another pen for you. 😉 If this doesn’t work, you might have to create a new account and do the quest again.

  42. This is a great guide, Scary Tomato you rock!!!
It helps the whole way through as its really easy to understand.
    Thanks!

  43. I got up to the part with the mini-bots
but what do i do? there not moving! they are just in one place and im running around theplace doing nothing! what do i do?

Codien: Must be a glitch. Your going to have to refresh your page, then go back to the place. You wont lose anything.

  44. YES!!!FINALLY I GOT THE 2ND SPY I AM INSTOPPABLE MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BWAHAHAHAHA *cough* *cough*

    Scary Tomato: Congratulations! 🙂

  45. Hey Ive finished all the islands yeesss on 2 accounts and now im really bord is there any otha poptropica stuf to do?
and i got the nabooti island mask wot doz it do

Scary Tomato: The Nabooti mask is just a piece of clothing you can wear, there’s nothing really special about it except that it’s not as easy to get as most clothes on Poptropica. If you need something to do, I would suggest playing mini games on Poptropica. 😛

  46. Remember that guy on top of the Tourism Center before Time Tangled Island came out? Is it possible that you could do the same for upcoming islands? ❓

Scary Tomato: I’m not a Poptropica Creator, so asking me is not going to get your request anywhere. 😉

  47. i discovered a glitch!. if you use the bow tie on the ground while on a telephone wire, you take it with you! and you can go more below than the ground. On Spy Island.

  48. I’m kind of stuck with the Chef guy because I can never remember the sequences he gives me!
    Any ideas?
(Awesome guide by the way. I beat Super Power island with your guide)

  49. John – Cool.

Quiet Goose – Thanks for the tip. I think that’s the only bonus item that’s still there. 🙂

Amy – Try thinking in numbers, like “1” is the most left object, “2” is the one next to “1”, and so on. 😉

Director Popper (Cute Popper) – Read the guide. You have to jump past him by hopping on the lamps on the ceiling. 😉

  50. i cant fill up the glass of water can you please help me scary tomato

Scary Tomato: You can’t fill the glass. Follow the guide to help you beat Spy Island. 😉

  51. help! no matter how many times i click on the first tied up spy he wont give me the pen!
he just stays tied up! when i click him my character goes to the right side of the room and keeps on pushing on the door… help!

Scary Tomato: Read the guide, you have to jump up and go around to the area where the spy is to free him. 😉

  52. Did you know that when I minimized the Poptropica page when I had to do make the mini bots disappear and then I went back the mini bot stopped moving. Its problely a Spy island glitch.

  53. I discovered a glitch when u pick the 2nd option when u talk to Dr Spyglass. He says: “I dont KONW wht youre talking about.” I think they mixed up the k and o. But its funny! 😆

  54. the roof top is a tough part.but try try until u suceed.thats how the saying goes.the island is tough but fun to solve and this guide makes it much more easier and exiting.thnx scary tomato.U ROCK AND KEEP ROCKING AND WRITINF GUIDES!!

What's popping, Poptropicans?
