Changing Your Name
While Poptropicans nowadays begin their lives with the default name of Hamburger Hamburger, you can officially change your player name. There are two ways and one button: look for the pencil icon next to your name on either the character screen or friends page. Note: Name generator options vary.
You can also further customize your name with the Custom Name Genie glitching tool! Use the lists below to make one that shows up in-game.

Exceptions
There are some exceptions to Poptropica names that aren’t the normal adjective-noun combination. Besides the default Hamburger Hamburger, there have also been glitched names like Name Unknown, Poptropican Lizard, and Undefined Undefined.
Poptropica Creator accounts also have their own names which will show up in-game. If you are looking for a cool custom name, you can mix any of these first/last names with each other or with those above to create a combination that will show up in common rooms and to your friends!

From the lists above, it is worth noting that the original Creator names are Binary Bard, Black Widow, Captain Crawfish, Comic Kid, Director D, Dr. Hare, Hades, Hazmat Hermit, Master Mime, Medusa, Ned Noodlehead, Shark Guy (formerly Shark Boy), Triton, Vlad the Viking, and Zeus.
Other custom names come from NPCs (non-player characters) that have appeared as ads: Cosmoe and Nikki Maxwell. Some are explained by combinations we know about or that make sense, like (Monster) Carnival, Wimpy (Kid), or Unknown Player. Still others are more mysterious, as we’re not sure where these names came from: Businessman, Chief, Coder, Diver, Hero of, Hook, Hurricane, Jaguar, Jester, Kid, Knight, Laser, Ninja, Ocean, or The. However, these will all appear in-game!
If you come across a modified version of any of these names, the player has probably gotten a custom name through a harmless hack.

Cool! I got Sticky Horse. Months ago, I changed my name to Sticky Horse as Sticky Norse when I accidentally hit the N keyboard.
Mine is sort of like those names… it’s Super Star. I’m so glad that there’s the option to change the name of my character in the beginning by clicking “change all”, otherwise I would have been Slippery Onion, Thirsty Hippo, or something equally terrible.

I think that maybe they should change the naming system, like instead of a random name generator. The names should be in 2 categories. One category would have the first names. The other category would have the last name. So the user could just scroll through and select which name they want. Instead of endless clicking hoping to get a decent avatar name.
