In order to foster an environment where people can feel safe, please follow our community rules (failure to do so will result in being kicked or banned).

  1. Be kind and considerate of others.
  2. Keep things kid-friendly. Don’t post NSFW material or anything suggestive of such, and avoid profanity and scaring people.
  3. Don’t spam in any channel other than #spam-swamp.
  4. Don’t trick people by lying, scamming, impersonation, etc.
  5. Don’t ask to be promoted to a staff rank (such as Guardian)—we’ll pick our own staff, thank you very much.

      2. Here’s another cheat: It’s for non-members that want to save a look to their closet but can’t. If you get a photo taken of you on an island then you can customize and not worry about never seeing your outfit again. If you go to your info you can find pictures from your islands well click one and in the top right of the photo there’s a shirt icon click it and you change into the pictures outfit! I hope this helps

      Hijuyo: Whoever uses a certain computer is responsible for whatever happens to it. Since you’re sharing yours, you’ll also have to be responsible for what your sister does on chat with it, and if she gets the account banned then both of you won’t be able to use that computer for the chat.

      Hijuyo: Not sure if this still works, but try Ctrl+Shift+R for the Randomizing glitch which might change your gender.

      1. go to avatar studio. enter a username of a girl, and once you have the pic, exit out and refresh poptropica. you should have that character. Hope this helped! 🙂

      4. Ctrl + Shift + R makes your character get different eyes now, and a new outfit, but the gender thing is patched, I’m afraid 😦 But, you can use rare9 or metalgirl in the avatar studio. Metalgirl’s eyes are half closed/have eyelids showing, but rare9 has the fully open eyes. Hope this helps 🙂

    19. Can we have a new island where the villain is a popular but selfish person called Mah? It could be called Mah island. Maybe the hitch could be:

      You arrive at high school. The popular girl (Mah) approaches you and asks you to be in her gang. You reject her and suddenly, the whole school knows how you rejected Mah. Mah gets embarrassed and angry. She steals your science project that you need or you repeat that year. You do everything you can to get that project back. In the end you get it back and your teacher is so proud that he presents you with the island medallion.

      Please make Mah island. It’s unique and might be your best island.

    21. Hi everyone, I need some help. I was on Mocktropica island and when I was going into a different scene to help the boy with his pets, I noticed that my inventory and my settings buttons were not there. I have tried going to different islands and coming back, restarting poptropica, and starting it on a new browser but nothing sems to work. Also I realized it only happens on the new islands now, the ones with color. All the old islands seem unaffected. Please help me as I do not know what to do and I have tried searching for an answer but could find nothing.

    22. These annoying ads are making me crazy! Can you PLEASE stop showing these annoying ads!!!!! And can Poptropica creators complete EVERY island?????!!! Poptropica membership is to expensive!!!!! Why isn’t there two months, four months, five months, seven months, eight months, nine months, ten months, eleven months and twelve months!!!!! (Which is also one year.) When I was on Super Power Island, BETTY JETTY was really hard to get!!!!! I thought I missed something but I didn’t. I tried again, but I STILL couldn’t get her. Finally I restarted the island and I went to Spy Island, but when I went to this spy glasses shop, the doctor said that I could use glasses. I tried the eye test again, but I STILL couldn’t do it. I took off my glasses and restarted the island. So I went to Nanooboti Island. I didn’t know what to do, so I went inside the common room. There were only girls there, so I went out. Everybody, PLEASE help me!!!

    37. I think the next Poptropica island will be called Monkey Wrench Island. There is a space cleared on the map for another island, and when you look at your medals, there is a blank one called Monkey Wrench.

    39. I have an irritating situation, you know how on poptropica friends the first thing on the bottom bar is where it says how many medallions you have? Well, I have completed poptropicon ep. 1 at least FIVE TIMES!!!!!! And says i have not completed it. Yet when I scroll over, it says I have completed it. I have tried refreshing the page 1,000,000 times and nothing has happened. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

  2. Guys, you know the torch in Time Tangled Island, I know how to get it out and use it in the Multiplayer Rooms. Just put on the mask or glider while in the cave, go outside,take off the mask/glider and presto!

      Shirt, hair, bangs, and skirt are all randomly found on Time Tangled Island and Early Poptropica.

      Elsa from Frozen
      Shirt, skirt, and lips from Mythology Island
      Hair and bangs from How to Train Your Dragon 2 common room
      Cape randomly found from who knows where
      Also used Phantom Power and Electricity.

  3. when I enter with return user, my character shows but my items wont show. When I go to another computer everything is fine. What settings could I have wrong? Thanks for any help you can give me.

    Codien: Try going into ‘Tools’ on your internet browser. Then press ‘Delete Browsing History’, then press the ‘Delete Files’ and ‘Delete Cookies’. Your problem might be that it has information on your character without the items.
    If this doesn’t work, try restarting and going into Poptropica again.

  11. I keep seeing people with cat ears and cat whiskers but I have no idea where they find them! do you know?

    Hijuyo: The only way to get them is using Costumizer on other players. Where they were originally from, unfortunately is not known yet.

      1. ya, the creators must of noticed people looking like cats and dogs (people were costumisizing the dogs from spy island to) then searched for the source and patched the glitch.. but you can costomize the people with cat ears and whiskers and mouth

      2. i know the glitch and its 2013. First you find a cat or dog (some may not work.) then you click on it and go to your friends . next click on your first friend and scroll all the way to the left until u cant see them any more and click the coustimize button (the t-shirt) and you will see the dog or cat that you clicked on.

    1. You can hold a torch if you go to time tangled island and go in the viking time in the cave and use the gunpowder to blow up the rocks go in with the glider on and come out take off the glider and POOF! You are holding a torch! 😉

      1. I’m Green Boa. I’m a Ice cream wearing sunglasses and holding a rock guitar. I had five stars once and then a very brave one star called Messy gorilla or something challenged me to a series of games and he beat me at all of them!!! I gained my stars back eventually and then I challenged some dude who looked a whole lot like the Binary Bard but his name was Red Noodle and I played about 50 games against him and he won them all! Scary Tomato, please can you give me some game tactics? 🙂

    4. I think people with five stars are rare. I managed to get four stars but after that, it grows really slow. I mean if I win one game it just grows a little bit or didn’t grow at all!

  25. Amanda (comment 34) – I’ve seen that hairstyle on Super Power Island. Unfortunately, when you try to customize the hair, you can’t. I’m not sure how you are able to get the hair, though. In the future, I hope they make it customizable.

    2. I’m pretty sure that the one with the flower is customizable. but there is another one just like it except it has a ribbon not a flower and chopsticks crossing each other. you can get the one with the ribbon if you buy the geisha outfit from the poptropica store

    4. For me when I can’t costumize something, it means it’s member item. I look like a member in Poptropica but I just used the “wear member item” trick here.

  26. Young Tornado – It’s easy to get the first few stars, but after that, it’s slower to get the fourth and fifth stars. If it was easy to get all 5 stars, then it wouldn’t be such an honor to have them all when everyone has it, right? 😉

    Clean Crush – Basically, you fill in numbers in the boxes so that the numbers 1 to 9 will be put in once in every square, row, or column. 😛

    Yellow Biker – This fall. The exact release date is unknown, though. 🙂

    to get the spots of, click on the customizer tool in the corner of the screen and then on anyone in Poptropica. Then click on the spots on your face. Click accept and they should be gone.

    2. if you did ALL of the things you could do on poptropica, i suggest you go to “boredom busters”, which can be found in the “cool stuff” section. they have some pretty neat stuff there, which can “bust” the boredom out of poptropica

  49. I had finished Time Tangled, but when I logged back in, I still had some left! And when I went back to do it again, the items had disappeared. Anyone help?

    Codien: You seem to have a technical problem. Only thing i can suggest is for you to go [Tools] -> [Internet Options] -> [Delete…] Delete Temporary Files and Cookies.
    Hopefully this will solve it.

  51. omg! i found this awesome hairdo in early poptropica it kinda look like and native islander or cave woman just tried to put up her hair real fast its poofy, has chopsticks in it, a flower on the left, and one of those afro comb they used in the 60’s in it. ITS AWESOME!

  54. i saw someone with a withes broom, when i saw it and tried to customize it it wouldn’t let me!

    Codien: About the broom thing. People got them on Halloween from dummies. Unfortunatly you cant get them by custormizing because it is a hand item. E.g. You can’t get a mobile phone, tennis racket from people by custormizing.

    Codien: That is an interesting question. I do not know of any rewards of getting 5 stars. Im guessing he got 5 stars because he is good. I will have to look into that for you.

    Codien: Wrongo. You can already wear any items besides being able to not customize hand items (Phone, Football). The only thing you get from completing them all is satisfaction and Shiny MEDALS.

  86. Hi my name is silver and on poptropica i have every island beaten and i want a perfect abttle score. I got up to 4 stars and kept on playing but it will not go past four stars. I know it is possible to get five because i have seen people with five stars. Do I have five stars and it just doesn’t show or what because I have a great win record and have won the games at least 20 times each. Please help I want 5 stars

    Hijuyo: It’s very easy to get from one star to two stars. But as your level increases it requires more. You may have won a lot of games, but you’ll have to keep playing to get the full 5 stars. 😛 You can do it – just keep winning more games!!

    Codien: Some time ago there was a ‘Tinkerbell ad’ where you could get the costume from her. Its gone now so you can only get the wings in Multiplayer rooms.

    To get to other islands you have go on the blimp. You can find it on the main island by jumping on to the rope and climbing up. From there you can select where to go.

    Hijuyo: The only thing you gain from achieving 5 star ranking is the feeling of accomplishment. You don’t get cat clothing or other Poptropica items. 😉

  99. I have a question about your stars. Can you just keep playing one game to get five stars? Or do you have to play different games?

    Hijuyo: You can play whatever game you want to boost your star rank, just as long as you win. (If you lose the game, your rank might go down a bit.) 😉 So the answer would be no, you don’t have the play different games. Playing one same game is completely fine. 🙂
