Hey everyone! The Creators have released the video trailer for Survival Island, Poptropica’s first ever island to be released in episodes! Poor exploded blimp…

Also, the members’ Wind Power for Survival Island is now in the Store. (We already knew about this from HP’s sneak peek a week ago, plus HP has the leaked Ghillie Suit, the next Survival members’ gold card item! It was in the Store for a short time before being pulled off.) When you use the Wind Power, the weather turns windy, and white dots fly through the screen – kind of like snow.

Overall, I think this will be harder than other islands, but their idea of episodes are great! I wonder how they are going to do the rankings of people completing the island because they will have multiple episodes. What do you think of Survival Island and the idea of episodes? Hey everyone! As you may know from HP’s livestream earlier, we’ve released issue #14 of the PHB’s Poptropican’s 911 magazine. We had a lot of fun making it, so we hope you like it! Also, we’ll now be replacing the Viewer’s Showcase posts by including a few handpicked creative works into our magazines. Anyway, without further ado:

They come out every two months on the second week, which means you’ve got until May if you’d like to be a part of our next 911. There’s lots to check out, so sit back and bask in the awesomeness.

I know you have waited for a while to see and read it, so HP and I are going to do something special for the magazine. I can’t tell you what it’s going to be, but it’s going to be on Saturday (March 8) in the afternoon. Anyway, the release date for the next issue of the magazine is March 8, 2014 (issues come out every two months)! The deadline to send in submissions for this issue is March 6, 2014 at 11:59PM CST.

Entries you can send in include: Stories (Poptropican fan fiction),  Island Ideas (what kind of islands would you like to see on Pop?), Fan Art (drawings, poems, comics, etc!), and Fashion (send us some Multiverse or common room pics to show what the current trends are!). Think of your ideas and send them in! You never know, you might make the magazine!

Monster Carnival Island

Hey everyone! Just to be clear, I meant monstrous in a good way! xD As you can see, the Creators have finally put up a proper trailer video for Monster Carnival Island:

Overall, I thought it was a great trailer – it told us a bit about the island, but not too much. By calling the trailer “monstrous”, I mean “abnormal”: how often do you see the creators post a trailer for an island AFTER the island comes out? Is it just me, or is everything in Poptropica is becoming more and more monstrous? 😛 Anyway, tell me what you thought of the video in the comments!
