Hey everyone! The Creators have released the video trailer for Survival Island, Poptropica’s first ever island to be released in episodes! Poor exploded blimp…
Also, the members’ Wind Power for Survival Island is now in the Store. (We already knew about this from HP’s sneak peek a week ago, plus HP has the leaked Ghillie Suit, the next Survival members’ gold card item! It was in the Store for a short time before being pulled off.) When you use the Wind Power, the weather turns windy, and white dots fly through the screen – kind of like snow.
Overall, I think this will be harder than other islands, but their idea of episodes are great! I wonder how they are going to do the rankings of people completing the island because they will have multiple episodes. What do you think of Survival Island and the idea of episodes? Yeah. And, you have to make sure your blimp or airplane has the correct instruments according to the weather! And, if in an airplane, make sure you have done everything on the checklist! Oops. I think i’ve done too much about airplanes and not poptropica. But, I love planes! 😀
Hey, this kind of reminds me of one of the movies in Backlot Island with the hot air balloon and the compass…only in the movie there is no thundersnow and the blimp doesn’t blow up :c By the way, where does he get another blimp? Where in Poptropica do they make blimps??

I made that island! I has won the “Create your dream island contest!” and i know that i made survival island because i did it on my experience to Outdoor science camp! 😀
I don’t think they will put up the “Create your dream island contest’s island yet. First, it takes a long while to make the island, and also they might have other great suggestions they were considering too. Either way, U had a great idea!
Are you sure?? if you go to the Poptropica blog for March its says “Then there was one” and i was about who one on the “Create your dream island contest” but he didn’t say who one just yet. He will announce who one in a few weeks, but then again i could be wrong, well just have to wait and see!

The Creators have announced that they’ve picked a winner for the contest, but they haven’t announced what that island idea was yet, as you said. We’ve seen sneak peeks for Survival Island in the Daily Pop for a while now (before the announcement that a winner was chosen), so it may not have been the winning idea since it usually takes a while to create an island. Well, we’ll know in due time. 🙂

did any one check the daily pop for today? (3/18/2014) it looks like a snowy backrounf with a drawing of a plane and a regular character inside. is that how u get survival island? what are the creators up tp? ;(
yeah i saw it. if you played mocktropica that “regular character inside” like you said, is one of poptropica’s helpers to make the island. He was the character who quit designing the poptropica island, mocktropica, and he was working at the cheese factory. Later he comes back to poptropica and does designing for the island again. 🙂
