What’s up, my poppin’ peeps! We’re celebrating Poptropica’s 17th birthday by hosting another community art collab! Last year’s Sweet 16 collab was so much fun that we wanted to continue the tradition! 🎉🎨

This year’s birthday party has a totes awesome theme: 2000’s Nostalgia! It’s only fitting since Poptropica was born in 2007. Partygoers are allowed to bring iPods, wear layers of denim, exchange Silly Bandz, and whatever other activities fit a party from that decade. Here’s how to join in on the fun:

🧑‍🎨🖌️🖼️ Draw a picture of your Popsona or a Poptropica character pumpin’ up the party in birthday style! Please save your character picture as a transparent .png file; it makes it easier to add your art to the collage. You may submit a maximum of three characters.

  5. Does 2010’s nostalgia count? I have a lot more nostalgia for the 2010’s, and it’s still 2000’s. 2007 was closer to the ‘10’s than the ‘00’s anyway. Although I only ever started getting into Poptropica last year.

    I had a lot of fun with this drawing! I put some silly bands on the horns and one of those bendy pencils that the teachers always gave out in school that was sooooo cool even if they didn’t write well XD I was debating also drawing a little cd player but that would have been a little chaotic for this drawing, I’ll probably do that if I make another submission 😀

  11. What’s more 2000’s than DDR? Probably a ton of things, but I digress. I’m still not gonna miss my chance to be a part of PHB history. I know the outfit isn’t very 2000’s, but I’m still happy with how this came out. I was gonna add Ack next to the Baron slurping a Go-Gurt, but I couldn’t find a good image of a Gurt. Still, I’m happy with this. If I do find a good image of a Go-Gurt, I may make another pic. This time, I’m thinking of making something related to the DS.   21. dandelion wanted to dress like muddy for this collab so the latter had no choice but to do a clothes swap with her. and show off her silly bands and her plush dolphin hamilton to fit the theme. the collar and wings cannot be taken off. she bought him from a gift shop with her parents when they were on vacation in shark tooth island in 04.

    attention: if you’re a nanobot and you participated in the tribal tournament, or you have access to all the tribe channels in the phc discord, this is what ‘lion looks like without her hat.

      1. Thanks. I admit, it’s not the best. The linework is a little funky. But it’s all I’ve got left. I actually made it a while ago, long before I finished my DDR art. I’m just happy to be a part of Poptropica history!
