Blue Tooth over on the Creators’ Blog thinks we should be wary of some rabbit situation, but it’s not totally clear what’s going on. Somehow, though, a picture has surfaced of a bunny that doesn’t quite look like all the rest, and the caption—“infiltration day 4”—garners some suspicion.
In response to an accusation from Instagram user @chloe.muncy saying, “Dr. Hare is a furry confirmed,” the Creators responded:
why would you say this on our very nice photo of what is quite clearly 3 bunnies 🐇🐇🐇
The bunnies at the Pet Barn still had plenty of carrots, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary—although I did notice a pair of Round Glasses for sale that we hadn’t reported on before. And they’re for everyone! 👓
So, what’s up with these furry animals? Are the Creators hinting at more adventures with Dr. Hare? We’ll keep you posted if we hear more.
In the meantime, you can supposedly watch some video to earn credits over on the Home Island billboard, but all I got was a “try again later.”

Either Dr. Hare is tiny, or the bunnies are huge, because they all look pretty much the same.
I saw this on their blog last night, and I was all like, “Wow, this looks cool!” However, now that I’m thinking about it, this is probably just another tactic Poptropica is using to cover up their lack of performance. They again throw out another picture or “leak” with no sort of good description or context so that the people can have something to be excited over. Yet a month from now, we’ll still have heard nothing that could have to do with this. It’s like all those pictures and models Poptropica has released over the years, claiming it had something to do with new updates or ideas. Anyone remember that really cool galaxy looking thing that we’ve never seen since they showed it off?
Now I may be wrong, as the creators may actually have something planned. But I don’t have too much trust in their word.
And by the way, the video ads don’t work for me either – I get a black screen that has red text which reads “Failure to Play” or something like that. Oh well. It would be a pretty cool feature to have if it actually worked though!

All jokes aside, don’t you guys think they might be overrating 24 Carrot a bit too much? I mean, it was the first island to become sound updated. The balloons, the costumes and other stuff were fine and fun, but then it got remade in Worlds and got a small sequal too.
Maybe it’s just me.
Uh, I feel bad for those pet bunnies. Maybe Dr. Hare is there to steal carrots.
