Hey Poptropicans! It’s only been a few days since we saw the sneak peek, but the new chat feature is now live in the Blast-Off Arcade on Home Island. Now, instead of jumping around the alien-planet space mutely, you can actually talk to some people!
If you click on a random player, you can say the following:
And you can get even more chat options by clicking on the speech bubble icon in the lower-left corner. The icon will bring up four categories of speech (greetings, thanks, yes/no, and poptastic), and each one offers nine related options you can speak.
Right beside the chat icon, you’ll find the emoji icon. This lets you express a variety of emojis, one at a time as a thought bubble that appears temporarily next to your character.

Yes. I went to the arcade yesterday.
I can’t play my favourite games anymore (Soupwords, Sudoku, Pathwise, Hoops etc…)
I can only play Sky Dive, Balloons and Star Link…
Awh man I’m so dissapointed.
You can play those in common rooms that aren’t this one, which ones you may ask? ALL of them…
Well unfrotunitly, they aren’t as common as they use to be… 😒
