It’s the Year of the Monkey for those of you celebrating the Lunar New Year, and there’s a new update on the Creators’ Blog honoring the occasion. 🙈🐒
Also, we get a sneak peek of a monkey that’s supposed to be part of an upcoming island. (Past sneak peeks indicate this island could be related to the Poptropica comics or the upcoming tutorial update!)
Captain Crawfish also added in his post: “Plus, if you know where there’s a misplaced Chinese dragon on another Poptropica Island, we don’t want to hear about it anymore.”
Sounds like this pirate is salty. XD
As someone who’s Chinese, I found the comment hilarious.
In case you’re not laughing yet, there’s a distinctly Chinese dragon dance happening on a Japanese island (Red Dragon, which takes place in ancient Japan) on Poptropica and it sounds like they’ve been getting quite a bit of flack for mixing it up. 😛

Chinese New Year isn’t the only thing happening – Valentine’s Day is coming up, and rather than taking it as a time to feel sad at a lack of significant other, here at the PHB we’d like to deliver you some villainous Poptropica Valentine’s cards! I was recently looking at the sneak peeks for January and for as MY opinon on what tye next island could be I think it might be something like Jules Verne “Five Weeks in a Ballon.” They both have castaways. They are both in a island. But who knows.
I’m not familiar with the story, but we’ll have to see when the island comes out! If there are similarities, do let us know. 😀
And the balloon could be like our blimp. 0_0
I’m 99.9% sure that the monkey island is that island meant for beginners announced a few weeks ago. I think it will be a mix of monkeys, castaways, and aviation, but with simpler goals. I think it’s name will be something like Castaway Island, but I’m not sure.
I’m not completely sure either, but that’s definitely a possibility. 😛

Oh, and Jessica, if you ever get to read this, I just want to ask you and your fellow Creators this- Wasn’t Comical Hamburger’s call with Jeff Kinney supposed to be posted on the Creators’ blog? Just wondering. Also, I have some suggestions:
1. Maybe you guys should let people comment on the Creators’ blog, so I wouldn’t have to comment on the PHB with questions for the Creators. I could always email, but I don’t feel like it right now…
2. MOAR POLLS!!! (On your blog of course)
3. New Poptropica Villian Showdown? With the newer villains?

Good questions! Hopefully Jessica or another Creator sees this and can answer. Regarding the call with Jeff Kinney, they’re probably working on it – maybe it hasn’t happened yet? Either way, I guess it’s the usual case of “it’ll be ready when it’s ready.” 😛
