Hey Poptropicans! I know I haven’t been too active lately, but since summer is finally here I hope for that to change! And yes, that means more BTS posts! 😀
Anyway, let’s get straight to the point. The second Poptropican for the Hall of Fame has been selected! As the title of this post indicates, that Poptropican is… Lazy Pelican!
“Lazy Pelican hails from Germany, and collected four Island Medallions last week in her successful bid for glory.” Whether that means she only has 4 medallions, or has more but is noteworthy for managing to snag 4 more this week is unclear from the post, but we asked Poptropica on Twitter and they’ve replied to confirm it’s the latter:
Anyway, if you missed out on the first Hall of Fame winner, go to our post on Dangerous Glove, who now is a guest on Night Watch Island.
Meanwhile, Lazy Pelican is now on the Main Street of Game Show Island.
As Captain Crawfish said, “Is that really a reward?” I’m not sure… 😛
And unfortunately, these Hall of Fame winners are replacing non-player characters (NPCs) that used to be on these Main Streets – Brave Tomato notes that Lazy Pelican now takes the place of what was formerly a girl NPC from whom she got her iconic pink star shirt from.
Another interesting note from PHB commenter Fairy Tale: She doesn’t show up for those who have already completed Game Show Island, since humans are no longer slaves to robots after the quest.
Anyway, you can brush up on the rules of the Hall of Fame (if you need to) and see if you get selected!

So she completed 4 islands and got onto a Main Street? Strange… 😛
It seems to be like a raffle. All luck!
I don’t like that XD It only seems fair the Hall of Fame should be for the best. So that means everyone that completed all the islands only.
Yeah, I see your point. I have completed every single island, but only one since the Hall of Fame has started. At least we have better odds!
As someone who’s completed less than half the islands, I agree that I’d much rather give the chance to a more experienced player. I’d feel pretty bad if someone else had to give up a spot for me
Oh well – what’s done’s been done. (And half of all islands is pretty good, BTW!)
Hahaha I’ve only completed 17! xD And I got help for 16 of them ._. .-.
Okay wow there are more than fifty islands this is definitely less than half xD
I agree that the Hall of Fame should feature people who’ve completed more islands than not – that is, after all, the sentiment behind being a top island medallion collector. 😛
That being said, however, it’s not really clear whether Lazy Pelican only has 4 medallions total (which seems too little), or if she has more, but stands out for having gained 4 more in the past week. Hopefully it’s the latter. It would be cool if we could add these winners as friends as well!
(Update: According to a tweet from Poptropica, she “has 49 of 52 medallions; 146 completed islands (many replays); completed 4 last week making her eligible for contest.”)
I’m trying to complete a whole lot of islands to be the next Hall of Fame Winner. Right now I’m almost finished with Steamworks Island (The plant monster fighting part is so freaking hard! 😡 )
Ok, done with Steamworks island, now to Skullduggery.
Skulduggery! If it’s as hard as they make it out to be, good luck! You’re gonna need it xD
And here I thought that those who complete all islands or most island are able to get in the poptropica hall of fame. XD

help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was playing on the mythology map and I literally fell of the world! how do I get back up?????? I just walked to far and now i am trapped in this hole thing with no way up!! its not part of the mission I think its just a glitch.
Click on the menu in the top corner and click the blimp to return to the map, then from there go back to Mythology Island. You’ll land on Main Street, but that’s better than being stuck in wherever you are (yes, it’s probably just a glitch). 🙂
Yeah, I too noted when the first hall of fame winner was announced that they were unfortunately replacing the NPC’s place. 😦
Yup, I was willing to encounter her, it seems you have to restart the island!
I actually have another account, in which I haven’t completed that island, so I can see her through that account. 🙂
Mystery of the Map Island is now available for everyone. I’m gonna complete it after I finish Skullduggery Island-I’m not finished with that island yet…

Oh, Mystery of the Map Island is really, really easy.. You probably don’t even need a walkthrough! The characters were bland-ish and there were a few situations where you needed logic and puzzle sense……. and that balancing minigame I had to go through 5 times.. ;D But you’ll be just fine 🙂

Finally done with Skullduggery! I also finished Mystery of the Map and Survival Episode 5.
