What’s popping, Poptropicans? Blake here, with a little Poptropica news! First up, as you can see with the title and all, the first winner of the Poptropica Hall Of Fame contest has been announced.
This week’s winner is none other than Dangerous Glove, who has completed every island except Galactic Hot Dogs and Mystery of the Map!
You can now find Dangerous Glove on Main Street of Night Watch Island! She’s replaced a boy NPC (non-player character) who used to be at the end of the line outside the mall, and has taken over his line of dialogue as well:
Also, the Creators have confirmed via Twitter that the any Hall of Fame winners will stay on the island permanently, although they will stay in the outfit they were in when they won the contest.
So if you want to win the Hall of Fame, you’re going to want to wear something nice! Remember, this is your Poptropican going up in an Island for the remainder of all time!

The winner’s are like replacing the places of characters in the island (like Dangerous Glove’s character did,not sure about future winners) So that would mean that we won’t be able to customize the original poptropican’s clothes anymore. Like in Night watch islands main street, where the poptropicans have made a long line, Dangerous Glove is placed in the last position where originally a boy poptropican was present. I actually was deciding on customizing his costumes, but now I no more can. 😦 The dialogue which she says is originally the boy poptropican’s dialogue.
And if they replace one of the future winner for one of the poptropicans in main street of mythology island we won’t be able to customize the original poptropican no more, 😦 After all I really love Mythology island costumes,they are great for making new costumes.
Uh, I really don’t mind if the winners are placed on the main street, but please creators don’t replace them with other poptropicans. 😦 That’s the only complaint I have with ”Hall of Fame”. 😦
I know 😦 They could’ve been replacing the winners somewhere else separately on the main street that is, and added a custom dialog like – ”I completed *insert island name” or ”I feel so lucky winning the contest” or could’ve added something more exciting.
I sure think that this change might be temporary, maybe for a week or so, but I can’t guarantee.

Hi….actually I just downloaded poptropica on my iPad. Now the problem is that I already have an account which I made on my PC. But it only shows new player button not the returning player. I am not going to make another profile at any cost because I have made a lot of progress in my account. What should I do????? Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Help me!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaa!! 😦 ;-(
As of right now, the online and mobile versions of Poptropica are separate, so you can’t connect your accounts – sorry. The Creators are working on bringing this feature some day, though! 😛
