This is a quick post to alert you guys that some official details for the next Poptropica island (which will again be episodic) was just posted to the Creators’ Blog. Get ready for PoptropiCon Island (although we knew about it before 😛 )! You can find some sneak peeks in the PHB’s PoptropiCon post category, and we’ll be sure to post even more in the weeks to come. Everyone is dressed up for the biggest sci-fi and fantasy convention in Poptropica. At PoptropiCon, the most important thing isn’t what you do — it’s how you look doing it!
I’m really excited for this island — it feels very Mocktropica-like. Also, looking at the description, is the main focus of the island going to be costumes & fashion? Tell me your thoughts in the comments. 😀

Another Episodic Island? Well, the two current episodic islands have only one episode left. So it makes sense for another one to be on the horizon.
I was hoping for it to be a full island. But I guess I could live with another episodic island. I can’t to see what in store for this island!

I missing the full islands! Even though I don’t mind the episodic islands, sometimes they feel, kinda ”not poptropica” in a way.

I hope it has a lot to do with fashion and costumes….but I was really hoping it would just be a regular island 😦 btw HP, this is kinda off topic but how many old islands do you think the creators are planning to make into SUI’s?
They’re planning on making all of the old islands in SUIs as far as we know. 😉
Oh wow! That’s gonna take awhile…could that be why they are sticking to episodic islands? Because they are re-doing all the full islands?
Possibly, but from what I can tell, the wait that they’re giving the updates may be an intentional hype. From the looks of the files, most of the islands have been updated — all that’s missing is the soundtracks. As we know, Jeff Heim has already made them, so it’s a matter of adding them and they’re ready for the release. 😛
Guys, don’t you GET IT??? Where have heard (in Poptropica) “Your dream island can come true”??? FASHION CRISIS ISLAND!!! Bronze Fox (runner up #2 of CYDI) practically CREATED Fashion Crisis Island! Just that it was created with another NAME!!!

Sounds fun! I wonder what the plot would be.
I hope they’ll make a full island again at some point, though. Having to wait to continue your adventure is no fun. But they’re short and simple, so I can get them done real fast.
