The Crazy Maker

Hi Gs,

In today’s Daily Pop, “the Crazy Maker”, something is revealing its true crazy nature…

All work and no play make Homer something something

There are a lot of things about this Daily Pop. First, the caption. It’s a reference to The Simpsons. In an episode about Homer having, um, restrictions, he starts to go crazy. One of his statements were, “… and no TV make Homer something something“. They combined that with “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”

The strange thing is that they already used that phrase in Mocktropica, when one of the programmers says “All work and no play makes me want to curl up into a ball and cry…” But both of these phrase are only using half of the verse. Why have they reused this statement? Perhaps the rumored “zombie slaves” that were supposed to appear in MCI have something to do with it.

Another strange thing about this Daily Pop is the doctor or scientist on the right side of the image. I strongly believe that a doctor will play a big role in MCI. His name will probably be Dr Price, and he probably is the one mutating the animals. In a post on the PTFP that I made, I talked a little about my predictions of the plot of MCI. I was joking, of course, but now that more of these are released, I’m starting to wonder.

Will they continue the zombie slave plot, even after Zomberry has been released? I’m guessing not… instead, I think they’ll make new monsters. Check out this recent Daily Pop:

Someone has been focusing too much on the glamor muscles.

Remember the glob monster? And the mutated animals on display? I think we have something really great and original to look forward to. 🙂 Also, just a thought: the scientist that has been appearing in images and probably will be in MCI was probably Dr. Romero from Zomberry at one point. Oh and…

  1. LOLz, I thought I was supposed to post this first? JK, it sounds EPIC. And I love the art you used.

Speaking of art, I found this new online sketchpad thanks to a friend of mine on the chat, and it’s pretty cool with all of the clip art you can use.

      1. ;P Yesh, yesh they are. It’s kind of hard to navigate this one until you get used to it… But I figured it out ;P I’m almost done with your Poptropican by the way, I’ve just been REALLY swamped with people asking…

      2. Well, including my family? About 3 dozen? It just takes a lot longer for me since my mom started this “Ticket System” where I earn tickets for tablet time and computer time… It takes A LOT TO EARN A TICKET O_O

Not to mention it takes a while for me to draw them, since I have yet to figure out that Bluestacks thing ;P

      3. Harsh? I don’t have to pay them for laptop time ;P Or TV time… And it’s mostly because of my bro, which is why after he goes to bed, it’s free ;P

Not to mention the fact that since I don’t have to pay tickets for computer time, and I still make money from my sisters uploading music to their MP3 players, I’ve got a good system going. ;P

  2. I came here for the Mythology Soundtrack…. :3

Here are my thoughts on the songs:

Main Theme- Is it me or does this sound quite a bit like the theme music from the Hobbit movies? I found myself humming the Hobbit theme tune with that one XD Well… I guess it’s kinda a good thing because… ADVENTURE!

Hades’ Realm – Appropriately creepy. Heck, it’s the underworld, where the dead go right after they died. It’s supposed to be creepy, it’s supposed to be dismal… It’s the freaking underworld!

Poseidon’s Realm: Oceanesque, I guess. Not exactly one of my favorites though…

Labyrinth: Rhythmic. Plenty of rhythm. That’s all…

Apollo’s Flute: Whimsical, like any sacred tune would be…

Well, I noticed that there is yet to be music for the final boss… I have a feeling it’s gonna be a to-be-recycled tune :/ Oh well…. I’m still hyped….

    1. LOL me loves the soundtrack… 😛

Main Theme – I THOUGHT THE SAME THING.
Hade’s Realm – I thought it was sorta over done… I mean, there was too much yuck to even distinguish a tune… 😛
Poseidon’s Realm – Not as oceanesque (in your words 😛 ) as it should be.
      Apollo’s Flute – Best one.

And as far as I know, there’s none. Maybe they haven’t finished it yet, but as far as I can tell, nothing. Which is sorta stupid. xD

      1. Yeah, that was why I said “I guess”… I see that that was what they were trying but… I didn’t really feel Oceanesque…

  3. The main theme sounds medieval-ish. 😛
Hade’s Realm sound creepy, a bit too creepy for me.
I have mixed thoughts toward Poseidon’s Realm, I’m not really feeling it. :/
Labyrinth is my favorite one, very rhythmic. Reminds me of a tribal dance, hehe.
I’m not sure about Apollo’s Flute. It sounds quite depressing to me…

  4. The Main Theme music could be for a fantasy trailer involving a “hero” rising… or at least that’s what I think 🙂
    Hade’s Realm didn’t really have a tune…
I think that Apollo’s Flute should sound more hopeful and content-after all, he is the god of the sun! 😛
Poseidon’s realm sounded more like a forest tune to me
Overall, Labyrinth is my favorite! It really fits the theme- it’s adventure-ish! 😀
