One thousand votes down, nine thousand to go

(Post reblogged from Super Thunder’s Blog with edit at the end from Slanted Fish.)

Hey guys, BT here with an update on the Poptropica Lego Cuusoo campaign: right now, we just reached the milestone of over 1,000 supporters! *squee!*

Now, before that milestone was reached, Dr. Hare posting an update on how we may not be brainwashed after all.

You have done well, my minions. Since we announced our LEGO CUUSOO project last week, many of you have done your part to help us reach the promised land of 10,000 supporters. There’s a long way to go, but as I write this post, we are just a few votes shy of our first major milestone: 1,000 supporters!

Can you help our project reach 1,000 supporters? Visit our LEGO CUUSOO project page now to cast your vote! Make this happen, and I might reconsider my plans to enslave you all.

(Remember, if you’re not 13 years old or older, you’ll need a parent to sign in on the CUUSOO page in order to support the project.)

A cool thing I noticed in the comments was that one of the staff members of Lego Cuusoo commented!

Things seem to be looking up, but we’re still 9,000 votes shy of our goal… show some appreciation, peeps! If you can’t vote, you can cheer from the sidelines as well! ;) Make sure Dr. Hare doesn’t enslave us like he enjoys trying to do…

BT out!

Dr Hare Lego

Yup, that’s Dr. Hare’s new Creators’ Blog avatar! And the PCB has a new icon for their sidebar asking you to vote for their LEGO CUUSOO project. Supporting LEGO Poptropica means supporting LEGO carrots! 😀

On an unrelated note, Loud Feather got his loud voice heard when his letter was featured on the PCB. Go and check out his ode to Poptropica, titled A Lament to the 32 Islands!

  1. I think that this project will be the quickest one to get to 10,000 supporters! Cause I’ve seen some projects that have been going on for at LEAST a year, and they haven’t gotten even to 1,000 supporters yet. Also, Loud Feather didn’t include Steamworks Island as one of the milestones, which I think it is, because it is the ONLY Island that didn’t have anybody to give you the quest, and the only companion to help you out was Sprocket. I hope they make Sprocket a follower in the store, because I LOVED Sprocket!

    1. First: Lots of people like Poptropica! So yes, we are lucky, because it will be easier to get to 10,000 votes.

Second: You do have a point about Steamworks Island. The only humans there were you and the few at the end, but most of the time you were surrounded by plants and metal. Good point! 😉

Also, I can’t wait for Lego Poptropica! 😀

      1. Mall Manager Clown, did you mean Sprocket? Cause you said Sptocket. SD, yes, you also have a point! Didn’t Black Widow say there were over 500,000 people playing it? My oldest sister says “500,000 people WASTING their time?” Man, if she would just understand all the fun on it! ;-(

      2. Actually, I did say to her 500,000,000, but I forgot that. Also, I’ve never heard of The Clockwork Man.

      1. Hm. I didn’t even think about that! “You have keen eyes!” Louis, from Louis and Clark time period on Time Tangled Island. It seems the Creators found a way to make some Poptropicans actually visit that Early Poptropica museum!

What's popping, Poptropicans?
