Oh yes! The time has come for you to show us just how scary you can be… by submitting your Poptropican’s Halloween costume right here in the comments. Read more for the details!

HOW: Create your costume, go to the Avatar Studio, type in your username, click Load, click on the Link to highlight it, right-click and choose Copy, go to the comments section on this post, right-click and choose Paste, type in your comment and submit so we can view your costume by clicking the link! Name your costume & post the username if you want.

NOTES: Ten lucky winners will be announced on Halloween, October 31st. You can submit as many costumes as you like, but we will only choose a maximum of one per person. Tip: for some spooky costume parts, play the Haunted House (from the Store) for the ghoul gathering at the end where you can customize from a variety of costumes. But be creative, and mix and match costumes from anywhere on Poptropica!

This is very important: please keep your costume intact until it’s over. Or, you can take a picture and upload it to the web (eg ImageShack or TinyPic) and post the link. If you don’t want to keep the costume on your main account, you can create a new one and post that instead. If you are having problems with the Avatar Studio, just post the username so we can check it. Do feel free to comment on others’ costumes as well! In your comment, you can also give your costume a name and mention how you put it together.

PRIZES: On Halloween, I’ll make a post highlighting ten of the entries that I thought were especially awesome, which means it’s your chance to get featured on the front page of the PHB! Also, these ten chosen entries will have their costumes listed under the Costumes page on the PHB.

  24. I forgot to add Spiked basically its all members only but I have Troll Costume With Chainsawer (mem-only from twisted thicket) and Spiked Ball and Zombie and thats it!

    1. I don’t want to be mean, but I do want to point out that ever since the initial release of the Hypnotic item that you have always been able to get it there. Yes, it was released as a members only suit, but even then you could still get it in Early Poptropica. I have had that on my Early Poptropica Guide ever since it was released as members only, because you got to admit, getting a membership item without membership is pretty cool!

      2. You could still do what you need to do on Early Poptropica to get the item, but it didn’t give you the item for a long period of time. Probs between now and……… I think Mythology or Counterfeit, whichever came first. I’m checking now if it is available again on Early Poptropica.

      4. it’s in poptropica towers in early poptropica. Go to the big green building and go to window with a flower pot.The flower should be orange. Click on the window and you will get the hypnotic costume.anyone can get it now.Hope this helped.

  40. I did a combo of Bride of Frankenstein, Swamp Monster, and Werewolf Girl.

    1. To take a screenshot on a Mac, press the Command + Shift + 3 keys (4 instead of 3 if you want to crop). It should appear on your computer as an image file (probably on your desktop), and you can go to an image hosting website such as ImageShack to locate it on your computer and upload it. Then copy and paste the link here.

      If you do it this way, you can change your costume immediately afterwards if you like. Otherwise, you can post your username or an Avatar Studio link (instructions in the post), but you’ll need to keep your costume on until after Halloween.

Okay I’m getting tired of wearing the same costume so: you have to have white skin,black hair,phantom card on,do the costume of bride of frankenstein without the cape,mouth from gothic cheerleader,hair from vampire girl 1,and bangs from the girl in the mill on astro knights with star necklace. There. Hope you enjoy!
