Daily Pop: Tour

Welcome back

First, when you log onto your Poptropica account, you’ll see this screen. (You’ll need to have a saved username and password in order to use this section!)

From this page, you can jump back into your game, or check out some of the featured content we’re sharing that we think you’ll enjoy. The link for the Daily Pop is that exploding “POP” icon in the upper right.

Comics

The first section that loads is comics. There are nine strips that you can choose to read, each updated daily.

When you’re reading a comic, you can rate it on a scale of 1-5 stars.

This helps the Poptropica Creators know what comics Poptropicans are enjoying the most!

Games

Now, let’s take a look at the games section. Click the “games” link to access the full menu of games from Poptropica’s friends at Miniclip. There’s something for everybody!

Once you start playing a game, you can rate it from one to five stars. You’ll also see which of your fellow Poptropicans are atop the leaderboards, with the top scores from the day, from the week, and from the month.

If you’re not one of the lucky leaders, you can still see your own all-time high score displayed right above the game. Er… don’t make fun of my score on this game. It was a practice round.

Leader of the Pack

There may still be time for you to beat Shy Sword’s score and put your own name in lights for all to see.

One of the cool features in Daily Pop is the high score list. Each game displays the Poptropican with the highest score for the day, the week, and the month. Periodically, the Poptropica Creators will be featuring some of the high scorers on their blog, too.

Sneak Peeks

For the curious minded, there is a part of Daily Pop called “Sneak Peeks.” This is the place to see exclusive looks at upcoming islands, as well as behind-the-scenes looks at existing Islands, costumes, and more. From the earliest sketches to the final art, you can get an inside look at the Creators’ creative process.

Just as with games and comics, you can rate every sneak peek from one to five stars. They want to know what you think!

Creator Clips

Creator Clips are original stories, jokes, pictures, and other fun stuff from some of the best writers, illustrators, and cartoonists around.

You can learn some interesting things such as:

  • The most embarrassing thing that ever happened to Rick Riordan, the author of Percy Jackson and the Olympians
  • The worst job that Jeff Kinney, author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, ever had
  • The scariest thing that ever happened to Mary Pope Osborne, author of The Magic Tree House
  • Something that Lincoln Peirce, writer and artist of Big Nate, has never told anyone before

And much, much more! A new entry is posted every Monday.

One last word about all of this: No matter where you are – whether you’re on Daily Pop, in the Poptropica Store, or on the “welcome back” page – clicking the golden blimp icon in the upper-right part of the screen will take you directly back to your island quest. Enjoy!

    1. Try Kingdom Rush. Its like it but 100000000000000000000000000000 times better. Just type in Kingdom Rush on the internet and play it on armor games. PATHFINDERS FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      1. Candy and Clyde is my absolute favorite minigame! Sometimes, I get really distracted with it and forget what I was doing! Lol!

  1. Sleigh Shot is so fun, but I CAN NOT beat Mrs.Clause’s 1000-up score. I even had the Thrust, Freaky Fish, and Skis to help, but I couldn’t get past 1000! Please help!

    1. It may have been published some years ago, but what’s on this page is still relevant – the Daily Pop hasn’t changed since then, and if it ever does, we’d update this page. 😉

  2. The sneak peaks on my account haven’t been updating for almost a week:(
Also, the creator clips haven’t been updated in years:(

What's popping, Poptropicans?
