In order to foster an environment where people can feel safe, please follow our community rules (failure to do so will result in being kicked or banned).

  1. Be kind and considerate of others.
  2. Keep things kid-friendly. Don’t post NSFW material or anything suggestive of such, and avoid profanity and scaring people.
  3. Don’t spam in any channel other than #spam-swamp.
  4. Don’t trick people by lying, scamming, impersonation, etc.
  5. Don’t ask to be promoted to a staff rank (such as Guardian)—we’ll pick our own staff, thank you very much.

  5. how to get flame on stick- go to time tangled and go to vikings area. then go in the cave with the glider take it off in the cave then exit and you have the torch.

    how not to have torch in cave- go to time tangled and go to vikings area. then go in the cave with the viking suit take it off in the cave and you will have no torch.

    how to get the glowstick- go to early poptropica and put on your jet pack. go in the dark manhole then take off the jetpack then exit the manhole and you will have the glowstick.

    please put these in the cheats.

    Far Far Far Away
    I’ve found some really unique places within the vast world of Poptropica. This place was really special with it’s many glistening and glowing pink crystals. I couldn’t help but pick one up and examine it’s beauty.

  29. I personally think that the Poptropica Creators should really start working on islands instead of dreaming out brilliant schemes for new ones. Right now there are at least three waiting to come out. (Reality TV, French, Astro-Knights)

    My character’s name is Green Bones. Hope to see you in Poptropica! Well, I rarely go to the multiplayer rooms though.

    Your website is great!

    Once you dial 1337, you look like the comic guy, right? I like the outfit fine, but is there any way to undo your face? Because when you dial 1337 you have the freckle face. How can you take away the freckles?

    Scary Tomato: Thanks Green Bones! I hope to see you too. To take away the freckles, use the Costumizer tool on any non-player character and click on your freckles in the window that pops up. Click accept and they should be gone. 😀

  36. Is there any way to control who is walking on the main street? Is it just random people?

    Scary Tomato: Yes, it’s just random. Unless you mean the more important characters that don’t change (such as Big Nate on Big Nate Island), those are always there and are not random. 😉

  37. Silver Ice, on the bottom right hand corner it should say save and quit. Are you remembering to click on it before you quit? If you are then there definately is something wrong with your computer. It happened to me once and it was WEIRD.

  41. It’s annoying how Poptropica doesn’t autosave anymore. Also, have you noticed that Poptropica announces ads on their blog? They’re probably making lots of money from it.

    Scary Tomato: They might get paid extra if they advertise it on their blog too. After all, the Creators don’t always mention the ads there! 😉

        There would be a multiplayer room, but the idea is that it’s like a small city, and it’s the only island with money. Then, you could buy a house, a car, but tips from other players, etc.

    6. To defeet the spike headed dude jump when he charges you. Then he will run into the next cart and so on till he slips on the wet floor and then walk up to him and click on him. That should defeet him and he will be put in jail and you will be teleported out side of the jail. Hope this helps.

  52. On Big Nate, you know how you have to put together a comic? Well, I noticed that there was a mistake. Nate says to Artur “Ah! Nate WRIGHT at you service, dude! Instead of the correct spelling, which would be without the W.

  54. I was disappointed in big nate. i thought it would be so much cooler, and yes granted there were new things, but i still liked spy and nabooti the best! they were challenging and that is why i liked them the most!

    You know how, at the Safari in Nabooti Island there’s an intenet cafe? Well, I thought that maybe the commentation names could be real people. I did a search on one of them, Alfredo Rego. It said that he was a programmer, but I found nothing else.

    You know how there’s and interenet cafe on Nabooti? Well, I went there and looked at the names of people that had “commented”. One of them was Alfredo Rego, who I searched for on the computer. I found out he was a programmer, but there was nothing on his site about Poptropica.

  61. Has anyone noticed on the poptropica creators blog posts (the ones with comic kid in the picture) that comic kid is doing strange actions/positons that normal poptropicans don’t do. Mabye only the creators can do that.

  65. I was in a multiplayer room in Poptropica then I left but while I was leaving,I saw vlad the viking come in but it was too late-I left the multiplayer room!

  69. Poptropica Mysteries One

    Detective Octopus was speaking with his close and loyal friend, Dr. Turtle, in the Cocnut Cafe. They were talking about several disappearencs on 24 Carrot Island.

    As they spoke, a man entered the Cafe. He was young, presumably 25 years old. He was wearing a business suit, and was holding a breifcase with one arm. He pulled up a chair to the table that the two friends were sitting in. He interrupted thier conversation.

    “Hello, Detective,” said the man in a Poptropica Towers accent, interrupting their conversation. “I’m dreadfully sorry to interrupt your conversation, but I am dire need of your help.”

    “Please allow me to introduce myself,” he said. “My name is Strong Bite, although I prefer to be called only Bite. I was born and raised in the Poptropica Towers. When I was only five, I was sent to live with me uncle in Big Nate.” He paused to take a sip out of the coffee he’d ordered. Then, he continued on.

    “I attended the Big Nate Island School until I was eighteen. After having several talks with the school photographer, I decided my career: Movie Writer. I read about an offer to work in a newly-opened cinema on 24 Carrot Island. I then traveled there and created “Night of the Living Carrots” and “Carrots of Fire.” Detective Octopus interrupted him. “Those are my favorite movies!” he exclaimed. Strong Bite smiled. “Allow me to continue.”

    “In the Carrot Economy Downfall of 2008, I was inspired to write another movie. Yet, I was fired before I could suggest this idea, as the company was now facing bankruptcy.”

    “Around this time, news came that Reality TV Island would open in several months’ time. I filed for an apartment for me and my family there, abd I was to meet a company head for a job there. That night, my whole family disappeared, as if into thin air. I read about you, and decided that I should search for you at this island. A kind tour guide directed me to you.” He finished, than began again. ” Can you help me find my family?”

    The Detective stared into space. Then, he asked for the address of the hotel Strong Bite. He told him he should be contacted by tomorrow about whether the case would be accepted.

    Later that afternoon, Detective Octopus walked up to his front door. He say a paper tucked through the door. He looked at it. The following words were on it:

    Do not take the case. If you accept, you shall face strong consequences.

    Wait until tommorow to find out what happens next!!!!

  70. Whoa! A while back, there was a post on the PCB about Shark Boy losing a game. And i took a look later, and noticed that the winner was a commenter on this blog. Who was it? It was Nice Bubbles!

    Scary Tomato: But sometimes, Poptropica repeats player names… it might be another Nice Bubbles, or the Nice Bubbles here is just going under that name but may not be the actual one that beat Shark Boy. I’m not sure. 😉

  71. Oh, and, I googled “Nate Greenwall’s Poptropica Character, and guess what? It showed Shark Boy! What do you think about that?

    Also, I know this is on the wrong page, but do the following steps:

    1. Enter Poptropica
    2. Press Ctrl+Shift+F4
    3. Copy one of the things listed on to the adress bar. I discovered that they show Sneak peeks there, or did. Soon, they’ll probably show Astro-Knights sneak peeks.

  78. Here’s a glitch:
    Go to any M.room and customize someone who is just leaving. (NOTE: WILL CHANGE UR POPTROPICAN) Then this freaky guy named Name Unknown pops up customize everything (look at the eyes when u customize hair) Go out then when come out when u do an emotion the mouth will freeze! It is so FREAKY! Try it!

  79. Whoa! i just met someone named “undefined undefined”. I think there’s a way to change the name of your character!

      1. Here’s another glitch. Sometimes if your computer has a problem you’ll log on and see that ‘save’ button you get when you first create a character. If you click save and get a new username and password and log on with that same user, your character will be called name unknown. I don’t know if the Creators fixed this yet.

      2. It is a glitch! We are peeps trying to uncover it, and according to some, it’s a cheat that only 2 people know. Storm (Senor Doughnut) had someone do it for him, and that’s the case with Muddy Dragon (Elmo PWNS). You cannot change the actual name on your account, as far as I know- only get one. I do not know the cheat, I am trying to discover it, but, as I know, I recall someone on this blog saying how! And, I think, someone said, replying to it, “Good Discovery! Although it was extremely easy to figure out.”

        Hijuyo: Motionman95 knows how to change the display name of a Poptropican player, but he can only do it by making a new account.

Snapshot Sagas:Cool Tiger Finding my way around in the dark was easy.I just followed a mysterious red beam that occasionally flashed down from the sky,and found my way to the streets of the grand city.The first Poptropican I ran into was walking down the street in front of the Hair Club.I had asked how they were able to build such tall buildings,when the same red light from before burst from the sky and struck him in the head!The Poptropicans hair was vaporised in an instant,and I had to duck through the front doors of the Hair Club to save my beautiful locks from a similar fate.To my suprise, many Poptropicans had also taken cover inside the building to save their own hair from the cursed beam of light!I met Cool Tiger there,and I think her name was very fitting,for she did not look in the least bit concerned about the hazardous hair removal occuring outside,Cool indeed.I took her photo to add to my collection before she left to conquer the mysterious light on her own!A very,very cool customer. (insert photo here) Who will be featured in the next Snapshot Sagas?
