Well, it’s simple. Comment on the most recent PMFM post (just choose the one of the list here). Be sure to follow the criteria below:
- Very crucial: Wear the outfit you want to have in the meme face on Poptropica and keep it on for at least a week.
- As mentioned, find the most recent PMFM post (it will be at the top of this list)
- Include your Poptropican username in a comment.
- Include the meme face you would like on your Poptropican in your comment (a link to an image of the meme is very preferred).
- Post your comment and wait! (PMFM is operated on a first come-first serve basis, so your meme face will come after all of the ones before are released).

I just hope this big Poptropica news doesn’t spell doom to literally every single Poptropica account. What I mean is that it seemed to be a declaration of a transfer to a new website. . . does that mean our accounts and the old website will be abandoned with this transition? Just the pessimist in me is really worried that’s the direction this change is going . . .
. And part of me believes this is a very convoluted April Fools Joke, but it didn’t seem like one xD .
Yeh, I’m hopeful of this news, though. I’m pretty sure they aren’t moving the site, just building on it and changing things.
And, if this is an April Fools joke, well done Creators, you’ve totally fooled me.
@Yujo_Jacy_the_Jumpy_Coyote @Tall Cactus I went on to Poptropica and saw the blog post, then immediately thought, “PHB! They’ll know what to do!” When I didn’t see a post I went to the comments to see if anyone was as freaked as me. Looks like there were a few! I’m in shock. I thought that this must mean I will have to start my entire account over again, and I really hope it doesn’t. I’ve been connecting and drifting away (although I think I’m here for good now) with my first account from 4 years ago. I still use it primarily, and have all but two islands completed. But then I thought this; what about Slanted Fish, Cobalt, Brave Tomato… all the PHB authors? They’re signature looks and my own! How and will we ever get them back? Poptropica, please let there be a transfer! It seems unlikely, but it only makes sense. I’m waiting for a post on this now. I want to see how others are taking this and what they predict! If there’s a transfer I’ll be super excited! New shoes, clothes, a different avatar (although I love the ones now!) If not… I’m scared for that.
I really apologize for the wait on the post. 😛 I had to work on PMFM today, and then the post took me a while to compile, as well.
I’m certainly not thinking that this new Poptropica will require making a new account or even make it so you have to change to a new outfit. I think they’ll probably just be upping the design in a few areas, but not enough to require entirely new outfits. But maybe that’s just me.
Super excited to see what will come out of this, personally.

And we’re exploring the idea of a unified story that connects all of Poptropica in a way that we’ve never done before. I know that sounds pretty mysterious, but that’s all I can say for now…

I’m intrigued, personally, to see what they’re going to be doing with this unified story. I haven’t really seen an online universe like Poptropica try to tackle that before.
When it comes to OL, I don’t think their ignoring it. It’s likely more that they’re waiting for the actual game to release. But either way, that’s up to them.
