How are you, Poptropicans? It’s Lucky Joker here with TWO incredible updates! Let’s pop right on into it.
Firstly, pet accessories are here! There’s an array of cute and funny accessories for your pet(s) in the all-new pet store. You can access the pet store by going into the Pet Barn and clicking the green credit icon at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.
The items are divided into four categories as seen below — head, face, body, and eyes. Here is the current stock:
Also, Poptropica recently brought us a new store format so that it lasts past the pulling of the plug for Flash in 2020. Like the pet one, there are also categories to divide the items — costumes, followers, powers, pranks, and miscellaneous.
I’m totally a fan of this new design, but there are a few small issues I take with the update in general. One, items cost even with membership — unlike before, when they were free. (I guess that wheel update from last month is going to be coming in handy after all.) Two, a lot of items are members only. Like, A LOT. More than half as a matter of fact. I think both members and non-members deserve a little better.
To close out this post on a positive note, Poptropica teased at the possibility of a couple of islands coming our way in their latest post. I’m super excited about it!

All I want from the Creators is a brand new epic island.
I’ve been thinking though, maybe a sponsored island of Where in the World/on Earth is Carmen Sandiego.
It would be perfect for how the mechanics in Poptropica work, which vary in talking to people, collecting and analyzing clues, exploring, and the intence feeling of spotting your target and catching her (Carmen)… unless if she gets away like always that is.
I like the general idea since its pretty flexible, but I’m not sure about the part of the island being sponsored. You can easily make a little intriguing storyline just from sampling the concept. Maybe it could be about finding a person who has gone missing, or finding/catching a person who ran away because of x. It’s could be sort of like Steamworks except it wouldn’t be as lonely and desolate. Idk, just a thought.
I dunno, I think it would be pretty cool to have a Carmen Sandiego themed island.
Although (not scrapping my first idea), maybe they could make that racer island that was once scrapped with different kinds of vehicles like a wheel bike, jeep, etc.

I just found out that a minor the clubhouse shop update came out like, today. One new wallpaper and some new items were added in the miscellaneous tab (the tab with the picture of a chest)
